“YOU DISOBEYED. YOU WILL FEEL MY DISPLEASURE.”Three days for five grand and the ultimate reporter’s scoop.I just have to make myself available to six royal bad boys on a yacht. How hard could it be?Except the Devil Duke sees right away I’m not a professional and now he’s holding me captive. Training me in the art of submission. Keeping me away from the real story. He won’t let me go until I sign a … real story.
He won’t let me go until I sign a confidentiality agreement.
Which I’m not going to do.
So that leaves me at his mercy…

Love this series.
The truth will be revealed
I hesitated to read this book because I was so afraid there wouldn’t be a HEA, but I should have had more faith in the author. The author took these two on a long steamy journey, but they found themselves, each other, and a HEA that was made to last. I was a little disappointed in the heroine, but by the end she was one of my favorite characters. This is a quick read, perfect for a few hours to escape reality. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
I love possessive men who take charge, and not worry about anyone else.
This book was so good. I expect nothing less from Renee Rose!
Renee Rose shines in this irresistible story of control, money, privilege, and the possibilities when worlds collide!
When you fight to survive, all that matters is control. What happens when that’s torn away? Chelsea’s a reporter at Rolling Stone. She’s followed her sometime boyfriend to Ibiza. Why? Ostensibly for a story. As she’s deserted, her story falls apart. Suddenly on her own, she finds herself sharing an apartment with a virtual stranger named Allegra. Another stranger shows up on their doorstep demanding Allegra fulfill a job contract. Only Allegra’s in no shape to go anywhere. Somehow Chelsea’s talked into taking Allegra’s place. Why not? Maybe she can get a story out of it. The money she’s offered doesn’t hurt either. But Chelsea finds she should have read the paperwork before accepting. She soon finds herself naked and chained to a wall on the Prince of Halsburg’s yacht with a number of call girls. Over her head? Oh yes! But she can still get a story out of this, right? Then the prince and his cohorts try to collar her, ripping her into the past with crippling fear. And just who happens to come to her “rescue?” The infamous Darius Halsberg, the Devil Duke, with the reputation to match his name. As Darius hauls Chelsea to his room, he makes it clear she’s not leaving any time soon. Her story just went up in smoke! Over the next three days, Chelsea’s a virtual prisoner. But she’s found another story, and she’s not giving up. Can she outwit the Devil Duke? Is it possible for the infamous duke and the determined reporter to last three days in the same room? The better question is just who’s more tenacious, Chelsea or Darius? As the two square off and clash time after time, neither is prepared for the consequences. Chelsea has the power to drag the duke’s name through the mud yet again. Darius can ruin Chelsea’s career with a snap of his fingers. It’s a standoff. Can either come out of this unscathed? The ultimate question is what is each willing to forfeit to win? Is there any compromise? Or will they end up destroying each other in the battle that’s all but ensured?
Renee Rose is another longtime favorite. She’s superb! This is an expansion of a story contributed to the anthology, Royally Mine, and it’s perfection. I loved the original short story, and this expansion is absolutely phenomenal. Ms. Rose is a writer who knows her subject matter first-hand. The clashes between Chelsea and Darius are captivating. The possibilities are endless. I loved the combination of innocence and worldliness Chelsea seems to have in equal measure. Darius may sound like a caricature of the typical royal billionaire but, believe me, he’s as far from a caricature as you can get. Their arguments, anger, attraction, hopefulness, and helplessness are enthralling. It’s very obvious Ms. Rose put a great deal of research into writing this story. It’s a quick read but I couldn’t put it down. This is another book where Renee Rose shows she’s at the top of her game. I can’t give this book anything less than five stars.
One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and BDSM sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. Don’t leave a negative review when you know you won’t enjoy the book. It’s not fair to the author. She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to the book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
Renee Rose writes great spanking stories that just happen to have a great love story that goes with them. Or may those are great love stories that have great spanking stories that go with them. Whichever way you choose to look at it, Her Royal Master fits right into her wheelhouse.
Chelsea is a journalist who happens to be rooming with an Italian model. On the day of the model’s big job, she gets sick and talks Chelsea into going to the job for her. The job? To be a sub on Prince Kaspar’s yacht for a few days. Now, Chelsea doesn’t know that until she gets there, and then it’s too late to do anything about it. When one of the prince’s friends does something that freaks her out, Darius, Kaspar’s black sheep cousin comes to her rescue and saves her from the wanna-be Doms.
After spending a hot weekend together, Chelsea runs off the yacht, and straight to Los Angeles, and promptly becomes miserable.
I really enjoy reading Renee’s books. She twists sweet and spice together really well and brings it all home really well. She also creates wonderful worlds and I can easily see them.
Kinda out there. But it becomes a love story.
