When Norah Baxter took a job as the royal correspondent for the king of a small island nation off the coast of Africa, she hoped the bold career move would offer her the chance for a fresh start. What she did not expect was to be threatened with a spanking before her flight even landed. The moment Norah calls him daddy during a tipsy attempt at flirting, Mazi Tucker knows she is in desperate need … desperate need of a firm hand applied to her cute backside. Before Mazi can take the beautiful, headstrong reporter in hand properly, however, she will have to be told the truth about him.
Though she is quite surprised to discover that Mazi is the only heir of the island’s king, the real shock comes when the stern, sexy prince takes off his belt, bares Norah’s bottom, and teaches her what happens to naughty little girls who push daddy too far with their pouting and defiance.
Over the coming days, Norah’s lust for her royal daddy grows into love, but when the time comes for him to marry will Mazi be forced by tradition to claim a wife from his own country?

Until next time… Happy Reading!
It almost felt like I was reading two different stories. The beginning of the book, Mazi was a stripper making good money, and Norah was just some “schoolgirl” at the club. It had a very modern, mildly tawdry feel. It moved at a fairly steady pace.
Next thing you know Mazi received info and is being whisked away to become the future king. The story morphed into those kind of royal fairytale that felt very different from the way it started. Then it was pretty fast paced for the rest of the book.
I didn’t feel any connection to the characters. Didn’t feel any real chemistry between Norah and Mazi. She seemed to keep him grounded, but I never got a sense of his character other than him being hurt and wounded. Norah find make much of an impression on me at all.
There were some steamy scenes, some spanking, etc. If any of that offends you, I would suggest you take a pass. At the end, you do get an HEA. It was ok.
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were great. Mazi was a stripper for a few years until he took up his royal roll. Norah works for the King as a journalist.

Norah is a journalist and she’s sent to review a strip club. Dressed as a catholic school girl she to the club to watch the dancers. Mazi works as a stripper to pay off his mother’s hospital and funeral bills. Mazi sees Norah as he dances and everything about her speaks to his daddy side. However before he can act on anything he receives a letter when he is backstage about a father he thought was dead. The next thing he knows he is off to Africa to meet the man. Much to his surprise Norah is on the same plane because she was offered a job opportunity in the same place. Will Mazi and Norah get to explore the things between them? What will happen between him and his father?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This was a much better book then I thought it was going to be. At first, I wasn’t sure I liked it but the more I read, the more into the story I got. The characters were different but interesting in their own way. Overall I enjoyed this book
Norah is on her way to a new job as royal correspondent for a king of a small island off the coast of Africa. She meets Mazi on the airplane and her tipsy calling him daddy lets him know she needs a firm hand. Before Mazi can have Norah she has to know he’s the only son of the king she will be working for on the island. Mazi will spank some discipline into Norah and be her daddy. A hot sexy story with BDSM and daddy dominant themes.

Yet another touching, funny, hold you to the last word DD/lg story from two leaders of the genre: Rayanna Jamison and Maren Smith.
The story of an unsuspecting Mazi, who finds that his dead father is actually still living and the king of an island nation, and Norah, the young journalist he sees the night he is summoned by his father.
This tale is well written and well edited, making the reading of it a pleasure.
Keep the tissues available to the last line! An excellent story you’ll love to share as well as read again and again.

I thought that this was a good read. Norah and Mazi were interesting and likable. I felt the story had a good balance between fun and serious. The chemistry was good and I liked that both characters had some emotional baggage.
~sigh~ What girl didn’t dream of finding her very own prince. I know I wasn’t the exception. Who didn’t also dream about maybe finding out they were long lost royalty? (Still not the exception here.) This book takes both of those themes and blends them seamlessly into one naughty whole. I appreciate that this story takes a couple of stereotypes and dumps them on their heads and gives us down-to-earth, relatable heroes in Mazi and Norah. We see the aftermath of some domestic abuse, so please be aware if that’s something that bothers you. It shows us how strong Norah is and I admire her for that. The chemistry between Mazi and Norah sparks off the page and it made me desperate to see them get their happy ever after ending.

I enjoyed the way Mazi and Norah met at the club and then again on the plane. I am so glad Norah got away from Brian. When Mazi found out that Norah was a little I was so glad because she was able to be herself. By the end Mazi and Norah had grown and I am glad they got their happy ending.

Mazi is a stripper to pay his deceased mother’s medical bills. Norah is a reporter who comes to the club where her dances. Norah likes animi and dresses like a school girl. That catches Mazi’s attention and appeals to his Daddy Dom. Fate intervenes and Mazi gets a letter from his father who is the King of a country off the coast of Africa, a father he was told was dead. Norah gets a job to be the media relations person for the King. They meet again on the plane that is taking Mazi for a one month visit to meet his father. Norah’s little is exposed in her fear of lying and sets off Mazi’s Daddy Dom. He nurtures her and cares for her but tells her she is his baby girl. Once they get to the palace things get hot and heavy. There is plenty of steam in their relationship as well as love and caring. They have a HEA and avoid history repeating itself. A well written book that I really enjoyed.

Honestly i really usually love Maren Smith books, but this one i felt for me wasnt up to her usual standard, and i was a bit disappointed with it. I cant pinpoint what makes me say that, but i will say that from the start it didnt grab me by the short and curlies like most of her books.
But what i did enjoy were the characters , Mazi in particular, he was a stripper at night, till one day he got a letter that rocked the socks off him. The letter was from his Dad, whom he never knew he had. Norah, she was great i thought .They both had the same type of kink which is great in my book.
Mazi was a stripper till one day he got a letter from her father (he didnt know)asking him to come and visit, getting on the plane which was waiting for him he mets up with Norah, she gets a bit drunk and calls him Daddy, but he wont act until he knows she is sober and really wants to call him Daddy.
Mazi’s father is a king and he is dying and wants Mazi to be next in line, But it really isnt what he wants and then he learns what Norah is there for. Can they keep up a relationship in the Palace?
Mazi is a stripper and he receives a letter from his Dad he has never met. His Dad is the King of the Island of Osei. On the royal flight to Osei, he meets a reporter named Norah who will be working at the palace. They immediately hit it off. They end up falling in love, but what will happen when Prince Mazi is told his wife has already been chosen for him by the King? I loved this great, quick read!

What a fantastic love story. Mazi was a stripper and then gets a letter from a King on the Island Of Osei and now Mazi is a prince soon to be King. Norah is a journalist and has taken a job as the King’s royal reporter and the sparks fly between them as she is looking for a daddy. You need to read and see how all this happens.
This is the first book I have read by this author and will not be the last. What a hot little read this book was. Norah is looking for a fresh start, what better way to do this then moving to a small island to be the royal correspondent for the king. However, she meets Mazi the king’s sole heir and shall we say sparks fly and that good stuff. This is a very sexy exchange between these two and it all works out well until two things happen…..one feelings develop and two Mazi has to marry. He needs to follow tradition and marry a woman from his own country. Now what? Are hearts broken and another fresh start is needed? Enjoy!

I loved this story! My kind of fairy tale!
Mazi is working at a strip club when he notices Norah in the audience. Before he can meet her, he gets a certified letter requesting him to go to the Island kingdom of Osei to meet his father. When he boards the private plane Norah is on it too. She accepted a position working for the Osei government. She freaks out on the plane and his Daddy Dom side kicks in to care for her. They hookup at the palace. He and the king have a rocky start and the king tells him he is dying from cancer and needs Mazi to take over. Maxi starts learning how to rule and is introduced to the media. They have a field day with his former job. Mazi is told he needs to marry so he proposes to Norah, but she insists she is not princess material. They eventually do get together and have a HEA.

Will fate have a happily ever after for Mazi and Norah
I first read Maren’s work, Shameless in Black Light Roulette Redux which I loved, so I added her to my favorite authors’ list to grab other books. This one did not disappoint! Mazi is dancing in a strip club to pay off his deceased mother’s medical bills when he is attracted to Norah at the bar. After his dance, Mazi receives a note from a king claiming to be his father asking him to visit Osei which he accepts. Norah is at the bar to write an article on the place and returns home to the job offer of a lifetime much to demise of her abusive boyfriend, now ex. Mazi is stunned to see Norah in the private plane, and is looking forward to the flight, until Norah who is afraid of heights, freaks when the plane takes off. Mazi steps up to being a Daddy to help Norah settle down when he sees his little girl holding her cloth bunny in the bathroom. When they get to the palace, Mazi offers to play Daddy for Norah and the two settle into a hidden, steamy relationship. Until the night before the ball, when his father has other plans for his future. Will Norah and Mazi have their happily ever after? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until you turned the last page.
I, for one, just love a reverse Cinderella story and this one tops the list. Maren Smith and Rayann Jamison introduced me to Norah, a reporter, and Mazi, a male stripper. Not only does it have all the elements of a rags to riches story but a fate induced set of circumstances that were fun, playful, sexy with a building BDSM Daddy/little power exchange. Plus this story is filled with the poignancy of anger, sadness, betrayal, heartbreak, family, love and responsibility. Those are a lot of words that each carry an emotional response. They hit their mark. A quick, easy read that flowed like a movie within my mind, these characters came to life with such stark clarity making them easy to relate to. The ending brought a tear to my eyes and I immediately wondered, will they tell the story of Mazi’s friend Azid next or will they leave us to wonder? I hope so they do.
Her Royal Daddy is a stand alone romance with a touch of age play, and a lot of royal love. Mazi has been a stripper for the past few years so that he could play for his mother’s medical bills. A letter from his father will change everything he knows about his life. On the flight, he meets Norah, a journalist and a little that captures his Daddy heart. But as his royal duties start to take over, will Mazi have to give Norah up, or will he be able to follow his heart?
I really enjoyed reading this romance and loved all of the scenes between Mazi and Norah! There’s definitely some instant chemistry and even a bit of instant love between the two of them, but there’s still some drama that they need to conquer. Mazi is hurt and confused from his past, but I love that with Norah, everything seems to just make sense. He’s the perfect Daddy for her, stern when he needs to be, but his punishments both hurt and bring lots of pleasure. Norah tried so hard to be practical, tries not to bring her heart into the relationship with Mazi, but her joy, passions, and love just shine through. I liked that this book was fast paced, I liked that there was a delightful balance between the drama and the passion, and I really liked how the ending all played out! This book might feel familiar, but I loved all of the expansions and I loved the Daddy Dom elements that were added! This was the perfect end of summer, feel good romance!
