The Mediterranean isn’t safe.An irritating fact to be sure, but that won’t stop Captain Anteros Bourbon from showing his new wife around his Mediterranean island of Paradiso. His island borders the volatile sea where the Barbary corsairs reign, or at least they did reign. He now does, and he won’t allow any corsair to step foot on his land. Unfortunately, it appears one corsair has, as well as … corsair has, as well as now stolen his wife right out from under his nose.
That corsair clearly has a death wish.
Furious, Anteros sets out to engage in a battle like no other. He intends on destroying the man who has gotten in his way, retrieve the woman he loves then ensure every single enemy he has (of which he has plenty) understands the brutal lengths he’ll go to, to keep his loved ones safe.
Death wishes, hopefully, can be dealt with.
Come and join in the adventure. You will love Her Pirate Prince, because this prince can’t help but follow his pirate tendencies. Get it now and escape to the high seas where anything goes.

Wonderful characters and vivid descriptions entertain until the very end!!
This is wonderful action packed and emotional novella from Joanne Wadsworth. I must recommend reading ”The Prince’s Bride“ first to get acquainted with h the characters. While I prefer my stories longer, this one is certainly filled with all the intrigue and action you’d expect. I just hate for them to end.
I enjoyed the characters and found them interesting and very likable, villains not included. Anteros and Olivia shared great chemistry and a steamy romance.
Thanks Joanne, for this well written wonderful pirate’s tale of love and adventure.
This is the continuing story of Anteros and Olivia. It does begin with The Prince’s Bride but I think it would work well as a standalone (you’ll still want to read the other though–so much more story). This is a fast paced adventure story with pirates, a seer’s vision and all sorts of twists and turns. It was a fun read and the characters were likable. It was a “read in one sitting” so be prepared but it was so fast paced that you won’t even notice. I Loved It! Ready for more and more.
An an entertaining and rewarding read to the end however unlikely the storyline.

Pirates stories where they rescue fair ladies are always great fantasy reads for me. It is even better if it is a determined husband intent on reclaiming his dear wife. This story had drama, mystery, and suspense, the characters had depth and there was a lot of action that fired the imagination. This book captured my attention from the beginning and I found it an entertaining and rewarding read to the end however unlikely the storyline.

Being the first book I read by Joanne Wadsworth, it was a bit difficult to get into the story. However, once there, you don’t want to get out of it. Easy to read, enjoyable, intriguing and wonderful read.

This book continues Olivia and Antero’s story. They travel to the island of Paradiso following Shira’s advice. She has a very complicated plan to get to save not only Olivia but a lot more people depending on her.
Full of intrigue, an entangled series of events make this book a very enjoyable one. It is well-written and well-developed with a lovely couple and several secondary characters that help them to navigate the intricate waters of salvation.

Sexy, fun, exciting and action packed journey filled with engaging charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and undeniable passion. A great read from beginning to end, really enjoyed the emotionally thrilling journey.
A well written on the shorter side story with nice storyline and plot. Main characters are well described and they develop well through the story.
It has some steam and sexiness in it. Captivating at times. Mix of action, intrigues, adventure and attraction.
Nice chemistry.
This is a great follow-up to the earlier story of Olivia and her Prince Anteros! There is no lack of action, adventure, intrigue, duplicity, former best friends turned into enemies and then into reluctant allies, and even a kidnapping that Anteros has to contend with before he and Olivia can hope to experience the HEA that had been wrenched away from them by the sadistic and evil tyrant Hazim! Settle in and prepare to become engrossed in this captivating swashbuckling pirate adventure that will make you yearn for your very own foray onto the high seas of days gone by!

Just a little mystery who is the spawn of black magic?
I have been reading a great many pirate story the last few weeks but this one was one of the best. Olivia and Anteros along with Adrestia and Nazari were great characters. The action and danger were well-written and kept me on the edge of my chair. Kidnapping, seer’s visions, and a bad guy will bring the reader an intriguing and very engaging book. I loved all the different twists. This is the book to pick up if you like an action pack tale. I highly recommend it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Anteros and Nazari work together with the help of Shira, the seer, to bring down Nazari’s father, Hazim who is a sadistic tyrant. There is danger along the way and a kidnapping is part of the plan. Things work out as Shira had foreseen. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it as a great read.
Small *spoilers*
So this was my first book by this author. I must say that it was an exciting read. The action starts from the beginning. It was intriguing and nail biting with anticipation.
While I did enjoy the story, I felt like I was missing something. It may be a stand alone story but I think I should have read a previous story to get the background and history of the characters.
I would also caution readers that this isn’t a typical pirate story since the characters spent most of their time on land.

This is an exciting story with Olivia and Anteros with suspenseful romance and drama. She gets kidnapped which creates drama and suspense and Anteros must get her back. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.
This was a very enjoyable story, the characters are well written and the story line keeps you engaged. I loved the continuation of Olivia and Anteros’ story. Looking forward to Adrestia and Nazari’s story!

This novel was an enjoyable read and a continuation of The Prince’s Bride. The novel center around Olivia and Anteros, as well as Anteros’s sister Adrestia and a friend turned enemy, Nazari. Olivia and Anteros are in danger, as it has been foreseen. Anteros will do anything to protect the love of his life and show that no one messes with the Cobra. Nazari has a role to play and it means using his enemy to get what he always wanted, revenge, a life for a life. Adrestia and Nazari have this love-hate relationship and cannot wait to see where that heads. Adrestia is a strong woman and certainly knows how to pack a punch. These four all cross paths to stop an evil man, which centers on Olivia’s abduction. Anteros does not trust many, but he will have to put his trust is Shira if he wants to bring Olivia home safely and bring his enemy to his knees.
I received this novel from Booksprouts as an ARC. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I so love going on a high seas adventure:) Joanne Wadsworth has written another exciting story that brings you into a world filled with pirates, danger, a seer’s vision and passion. Anteros and Olivia had their story told in the book “The Prince’s Bride (Regency Brides #5)” and now, we reconnect with them, after they are married. No peace for them yet!!!
When the seer of Algiers, Shira Ria, has a vision of Olivia being kidnapped by the evil Hazim, she puts into motion a plan that each must play a part, no matter the danger that will surround them. The story is well written and keeps your interest throughout.
I now look forward to reading Nazari and Adrestia’s story, it promises to be quite the read, considering the love/hate relationship they have in this book:)
