Everleigh has had a wandering spirit since the day she was born. Her boring, small town could barely contain her and at the first opportunity, she fled. It was only natural falling in line with the freedom that MC life brought to her. The allure of never being told what to do a strong one. Sadly, she found herself trading one cage for another. Given the road name Silence, for her shy lack of … voice, she’s been a part of a motorcycle gang out of Maryland. A rough and tumble lot believing in sovereignty, running guns and drugs through Indigo City.
Narcos has been undercover with the outlaw MC, the Knights of Crescentia for more than a year. In that time, he’s seen and heard all sorts of things, except for Silence’s voice. She’s the president’s Ol’ Lady and probably knows infinitely more than he does as a prospect to the club. All that is about to change. Narcos is about to be patched in. Unfortunately, patching in means going to an extreme he’d never thought he’d be pushed to and Silence is in the crosshairs.
How will he get through this, through to her, and keep them both alive?

I finished this magnificent book earlier today. I needed to collect my emotions before I attempted to write a review. I must warn you this is going to be difficult to be “spoiler free” but I will do my best. I want to share to much of this touching story, but I want the reader to be surprised at the same time.
I had never heard of “Selective Mutism” until reading Everleigh’s story. Side note–I think Everleigh is one of the most beautiful unique names that I have heard in quite some time. It fits the unique, beautiful, struggling young lady. Reading about this challenging anxiety condition gave me such a better insight into the struggles of others. I learned that we must all find and show compassion to become better people. I did warn you that my emotions were on overload right?????
Everleigh’s situation made for a challenging, isolating life. She hopped on the first motorbike that would help her escape. Then she hopped on to another bike landing with a terrible 1% club, tied to the president with no way to escape. She became the fall guy, an example and an initiation.
Whiskey had been working his way up through the same club. It was time to prove himself or be killed. He died a little that day. He would do anything within his power to make amends, to be redeemed. He would save Everleigh if he could. He would make things right. All he had to was take down a dangerous MC.
Everleigh had to be protected. She was a victim. She was a witness. She was in extreme danger. As the danger increased, she would need to depend on the one person she could not trust, the one that acted without remorse, or so she thought.
Open the pages of Her Pained Blue Silence and open your heart. Hop on the back of Narcos’ bike and enjoy the ride of the year. Live the rustic life, in a small cabin, and learn to accept, to trust, to rely on others as they rely on you. How could they not fall in love, after all I couldn’t help but fall in love with Everleigh an Narcos (aka Whiskey).
Holy crap! Frickin’ fabulous! Could not put it down. Will tell you my heart was broken in the first 2 chapters and Narcos had the job not only to put Silence’s heart back together but mine as well. Full of emotion definitely. The best one so far and I tell you have have read the other indigo knights multiple times and this one as far as bleeding emotion to you like you are feeling it, wins hand down. Could feel it all through out the story!!!! Can’t wait for the next
I was not prepared to love this book as much as I did. I’ve read just about everything this author has written, but love this series the most. I didn’t think I’d like Narcos, he just seemed to off-putting. Boy was I wrong. He’s a gentle guy with a heart of gold, and what he was forced to do in order to keep himself safe was one of the worst things anyone could be asked to do. There were so many raw emotions in this book that I couldn’t put it down. I devoured it in one sitting, then reread it again. Be prepared to throw this book across the room, then run to pick it up and continue. So good!
