Natalie Montgomery wants a new life. While she may be rich, her life is empty. Her parents were never around, too rich and important to be bothered with a child. And when they present her with a emotionless fiancé, she’s done. As a volunteer for the Interstellar Bride Program, she is thrilled to arrive on the hot, desert planet of Trion, and in the arms of a seductive warrior who makes her body … body burn.
Roark of Trion is not eager for a mate. Danger and the constant threat of war dog his steps. But one look at his new bride, and his mind is changed. Natalie is everything he ever wanted in a woman…so soft, so passionate, so submissive to his every need. An attack on their outpost leaves Roark fighting for his life. For her protection, Natalie is transported back to Earth. Roark thinks she’s dead. But she’s very much alive and so is his newborn son. Natalie’s anger and regret grows with each passing day her mate does not keep his promise to come for her. By the time he discovers his mistake, it may be too late to win back her heart.

Read this book twice
Sometimes I enjoy reading SFR, but need plausibility and the science to pull me in deeper. Then there are times when,’ I wants my down and dirty hot alien sex’, and nothing else will do. I also admit I usually don’t care for secret baby tropes–but here is the thing–no one can pull me in as fast into the storyline or into the head of the heroine as Ms. Grace Goodwin. In a single moment I feel the heroine, the struggle with decisions and her concern and her love for the hot alien hero.
I wish her books lasted longer, but that is another thing I’ve come to expect from most of her writing. Or maybe I just read too fast? I gave this offering four stars and look forward to more kinky and seductive unapologetic stories of erotic romance far beyond the stars. : ;
I found this book to be very good read, great characters and an great love.
Love Grace Goodwin books. They are really entertaining. Hard to put down.
I really like this series. I have read several books from it so far have liked the characters,
Situations the characters find themselves in how they work the problems come out on top. Would and have recomended MS.Goodwins. books to be read an checked out.
Great book! Once I started this book I could not put it down .Up all night reading this book! Worth it !
Short and sweet
Turn up the A/C because this has plenty of steamy scenes. I was a little confused in the beginning, but finally things began to click. Even though the underlying story is good I had hoped for a bit more conflict to play out.
I really love the Interstellar Bride books. This one has Natalie, a human, and a poor little rich girl where money does not by happiness. As a matter of face it is lonely, even feeling like a side thought of her parents, just not important. It is time to move on from all of this and her gross ex fiance. Enter thr bride program and her new mate, Roark. Roark new his one true mate was out there. and now she was here. One night of pssion and falling in love was all it took. Except for the interruption of a battle that left Roark taken hostage and Natalie sent back to earth for her saftey. I loved their story and how the writing follows both characternthrough the different time changes and their thoughts one what next? Loved the HEA
I love how Grace Goodwin writes and I love the installed brides series. If you like sci fi romance you will love these books.
I received a copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed this book.
Grace Goodwin does not disappoint. Book 9 in the Interstellar Bride series brings us back to Trion (the planet from book 1 – Assigned a Mate). This story unfolds rapidly and the characters are entertaining. If you read the first book, you will know what happens when one person is on Earth and the other is on Trion and this adds a twist to the separated lovers story. The author always gives us some intrigue, whether it is the war against the Hive, the trouble a bride/warrior is stalked by, or the unrest on some of the coalition planets. We get to see a little more of the Warden and the Colony and get a little closer to their stories. The author does a great job of making these books uniquely different and not formulaic. I look forward to many more Interstellar Brides (especially the Atlans – I love those big, almost out of control guys!).
