This book had great characters and the writing style just flow off of the pages. Older man falling for a young woman, but mafia families makes bad bed fellows, or do they?

Mickey is a made man. He has everything he could want until he meets her and realizes what he’s missing. Chloe has known for some time that she was destined to be with Mickey. Although he is an older man she cannot deny the strong attraction she feels for him.
This book was great. It offered everything; romance, mystery, drama, and suspense. I was intrigued from the first page.

The author has given us characters that have an instant attraction and act upon it. However, things do not actually fall in place. The story is action packed and flows swiftly.

I liked this book, as I do almost all of Flora Ferrari’s work. I’m generally not a huge fan of mafia romances, but this one pretty good. I had a bit of a hard time with this one, but it was still very well written. This story had many twists and turns, a bit unusual for a standard mafia romance. Michael comes across as a typical romance gangster, and Chloe is the sweet young lady fascinated by him. There are quite a few surprises in the plot, but I don;t want to mention any spoilers. Suffice to say, the ending is standard romance form (I love that!), but getting there was a bit of an unusual path. All in all, a good Valentine romance.
