About the series: Some say it’s magic, some say it’s love. Others credit the sea, sun and sand as the healing powers behind Sea View House. Does the truth really matter for the temporary residents of this special place? In the coastal town of Pilgrim Cove, strangers are welcomed, and everyone else takes a front row seat to watch a love story unfold. The series begins with HER LONG WALK HOME:
… HOME:
Rebecca Hart has her life together–great job, great friends and ready to run the Boston Marathon. Her life turns in an instant when she’d injured in the bombing.
Single dad and veterinarian, Adam Fielding, intends to remain a bachelor after being “abandoned” twice. Once by the love of his life and once by a second-best girlfriend.
When Rebecca arrives at Sea View House to recover, neither she not Adam is prepared to let the magic of the place affect them.
Will these two open their hearts and run toward a new finish line together?

I liked the book. Just not my kind of book.
The hero just wasn’t right. He was devastated by loss but fell in love with the heroine in the first week she was there. The ‘legend’ of the magic house wasn’t developed at all. I doubt that I’ll go back for the rest of the series.
loved the book. Certainly all the lives that were affected. very true with Boston Booming
The few stories I’ve read about the Sea View cottage have been uplifting Wonderful story of faith and hope
Couldn’t put the book down. Very inspirational.
The story was very interesting and different. Very loving and should give hope for every amputee that someone would look beyond physical appearance.
The raw emotions of someone healing from a tragedy.
Never give up
Interesting premise. Too predictable.
Loved the story , the characters and the emotions depicted in this book
Real life setting made the characters more believable
One of the better stories I’ve read. Highly recommend this book.
Loved the story and would read it again.
Heartrending story of survival, healing and finding love!
Love this book but didn’t think it would turn out the way it did.
Nicely written story of a Boston Marathon bomb victim’s determination to get back to a normal life on her own in a small, but overly caring community. Falling in love is a bonus.
(The author relates her story without explicit sexual descriptions or using the f**** word. Thank you.)
This is a very good story with likeable, sympathetic characters. Enjoyed reading it.
Great story line, great characters – great beach afternoon read
Enjoyed the read. A real page turner
Great story about corage and what matters
