About the series: Some say it’s magic, some say it’s love. Others credit the sea, sun and sand as the healing powers behind Sea View House. Does the truth really matter for the temporary residents of this special place? In the coastal town of Pilgrim Cove, strangers are welcomed, and everyone else takes a front row seat to watch a love story unfold. The series begins with HER LONG WALK HOME:
… HOME:
Rebecca Hart has her life together–great job, great friends and ready to run the Boston Marathon. Her life turns in an instant when she’d injured in the bombing.
Single dad and veterinarian, Adam Fielding, intends to remain a bachelor after being “abandoned” twice. Once by the love of his life and once by a second-best girlfriend.
When Rebecca arrives at Sea View House to recover, neither she not Adam is prepared to let the magic of the place affect them.
Will these two open their hearts and run toward a new finish line together?

It’s a nice book. I thought they moved way too fast. In fact in some of the book I felt he as in to her more the she was him. I felt the ending was a bit rushed. Even if it was happy.
Loved this book!!!!!
Just what I needed a great read!
This book puts a personal face on a national tragedy. It made it believable and easy to read from a personal point of view. Happy
ending
Loved this easy read with a great ending!
This one will make you laugh and then turn around and make you cry. Loved the characters and the entire town! I was rooting for love the whole time, you really feel the frustration and angst as well as the spontaneous combustion of atterction in the moments. Recommend. Definitely.
Yes
The conflict the main character went through was understandable and real. I was really invested in her struggle.
Very lovely story line.
A story you can feel as you read. True to life.
She lost her leg at the Boston marathon bombing and settled in a house on the beach. She meets up with single dad and vet who also rescues greyhounds. She helps him fundraiser to start an animal shelter
What do you do when the poo-pa of life takes your leg and your a runner. How do you see yourself, your worth? How do you over come and get back on track. This story helps you look at how it could be.
A wonderful story that reflects a horrendous act done in our country in 2013…you cannot help but be inspired by this main character! Add in a bit of “magic” and it is even better!
Unbelievable plot
Good, clean story with strong characters. Sex implied, no foul language.
This is a standalone story set place in a small town with wonderful people, like the ROMEO’s, and a special home that, in other stories, has transformed lives before this story and in future stories.
This one is based upon the story of a Boston Marathon victim and the local vet, who had been part of a prior story in this series. It is a very sweet romantic story with a very good pace.
If you are amongst those who don’t like detailed sex acts for several pages … be happy. This book doesn’t have that and doesn’t need it.
A story about Rebecca a Boston Bombing survivor, and her meeting and getting involved into the lives of Dr. Adam a single parent raising his young daughter. His interest in rescuing greyhounds that are abused that developed into raising money for all abused animals. A very heart warming enjoyable read. Looking forward to reading more of this series.
A feel good story from a group of feel good stories. I’d read and enjoyed another book in this series and was happy to stumble on this one. I think I’d love to move to this town and meet the ROMEOS and the other entertaining characters. I think anyone would enjoy the love, healing and hometown feel of this place and story.
Nice easy read. Liked it.
