A sweet story of two people finding their way to happy ever after
This was a sweet and heartwarming story about love, loss, and life after tragedy.
When Bonnie was first mentioned in this series I had an inkling that she’d feature in one of the books with her tragic history. It was a good read with the characters having to look inside themselves and figure some things out.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Her Faithful Cowboy, Sam and Bonnie’s story, is heartwarming and sensitively told. The eldest Buttars brother finds himself pulled in two different directions of the heart – between his parents’ homestead in Wyoming and the woman he loves, who has an emotional attachment to Vermont. I loved the gentle, steady pace at which their relationship develops and how faith is a foundation in their lives. The scenes where Sam and Bonnie were planning their church’s Easter program were some of my favorite parts, especially the mentioning of beloved hymns.
“Big things, little things, it didn’t matter. The evidence of God existed everywhere, and Bonnie was trying to be more reliant on Him than she’d been in the past.” This is a story of grace, surrendering past pain to God and learning to trust in Him. I’m enjoying this family series and look forward to more from the Buttars brothers.
Sam is the oldest of the four Buttars brothers. When their parents passed away, Sam took on the responsibility of keeping his brothers together even when it meant moving from place to place and job to job. Now they are at Steeple Ridge Farm in Vermont and they are all happy. His youngest brother had found love and gotten married. Sam has a strong feeling that it is time for him to return to his family’s farm in Wyoming. He had a couple of dates with Bonnie and developed feelings for her but he knows he is leaving and doesn’t think she would want to leave the area so he stopped seeing her. Bonnie has spent her entire life in Island Park, VT. She got married, buried her 4-year-old son, and got divorced there. Now their pastor has thrown Sam and Bonnie together to work on the Easter program and the spark between them is growing even brighter. Can Sam trust his faith and his heart to make the right decision about leaving Steeple Ridge? Will Bonnie’s faith be enough to allow her to follow her heart?
I love this book. The characters are very realistic and have had to deal with hard things in their lives. The descriptions of the locations make you feel like you are there. The story is heartwarming and inspiring.
I received an ARC of this book and have voluntarily provided an honest review.
The author draws you in from the beginning to the story of the characters. The story takes a few twist and leaves you wondering about the outcome. Nice read with enough romance to keep you turning the pages.
HER FAITHFUL COWBOY is a contemporary Christian romance. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone.
Five years ago, Bonnie suffered a horrific tragedy, which led to the breakdown of her marriage. While Sam spent years looking after his brothers and now wants a life of his own back home on the family farm.
This is a tender and sweet story of two people letting go of the past so they can build a future together. Watching them work through their problems with the help of their friends, faith, and family is a pleasure to read.
A nice Christian book. A little redundant. Not real exciting.
Child loss, divorce and some post trauma make for an interesting romance with a cowboy.
Second Chance
Sam & Bonnie had gone out for awhile then he drifted off. He was moving to Wyoming. Then he realized he should have told her he was going, but he is back and they go out again. Her dad passed away from his cancer and Sam helps her. Can they make it work.
Shows how family works together
tragic story about grief
I love clean western romance novels but nothing sad. Just happy

I think it is a good book for a younger generation
