LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
And that’s how ladies and gentlemen, my favorite author comes back. I had read her last book and was not the most happy person. Somehow, I felt her usual chemistry, plot, and pace did not come through. And then I read this one. Oooooh! What can I say? THIS is the book that made me realize why I love Ms Lennox in the first place. I remember a couple of years back how I stumbled upon the Boarding School series. I bought them all and read them all in one go. This book reminded me of that period where I used to just devour her books like crazy.
As the name and cover suggests, this is a series about some besties – women and their journey to find love. Wielding the marriage of convenience trope with ease, the plot revolves around Lana, who has recently lost her father and is struggling with the business, and Christoph, who is her arch enemy in business. Their chemistry is insanely hot and I enjoyed the pace and the flow in this novel. This book definitely deserves a 5-star! Will definitely pick up the other books in this series too.
Another mesmerizing book by Elizabeth Lennox! I was hooked on this story from the very beginning! Christoph is such an irresistible alpha-male, so chivalrous, determined and charming, that has become one of my top-favourite male characters. Lana is a sensitive, romantic and willful woman with enough pride and spark to keep him on edge!… a couple with an electrifying chemistry!

I would advise reading the Burlington school introduction first, it contains the back story for Lana and her friends.
Lana, a successful artist, was left her fathers crumbling company in an archaic will that leaves her unable to take the steps necessary to keep thousands of people employed.
Christoph Anastas, her fathers fiercest competitor, offers marriage so that he has access to the companies but they survive.
He’s intrigued by her, and she him, but as feelings become involved, can a marriage survive without trust ??

I read both the introduction and this story. I was excited to see that it was worth the wait. This story was a good sexy read. I suggest reading the introduction to get the back stories. The characters were great. I wish her dad was still around. This showed that friendship is a great commodity. It showed that love is a wonderful thing. I love Elizabeth Lennox stories. I can’t wait for the rest in this series. If this is your first book by her don’t let it be your last. She has a bunch of great series. Can’t wait for the next one.

After reading the introduction to this new series The Ladies of the Burling School, I was looking forward to the first book and was not disappointed. Her Enemy, Her Lover introduces us to Lana Kosta and Christoph Anastas and their story is special. Lana has known about Christoph hearing not so good things about him while growing up, he was her fathers nemesis! After Lana’s father dies leaving her his businesses to run. She cannot sell the businesses according to the will it has to stay with her and will go to her husband. Enter Christoph who offers to marry her. She has become a well known painter and does not need her Father’s money but has to deal with the businesses. After trying to run everything on her own discovering that her father had a lot of money problems, Lana turns to Christoph agreeing to a business marriage! Like a lot of marriages of convenience feelings beginning to take over and it’s no longer business. Her two best friend from her Burling School. days show up for support. Can’t wait for Tamara and Willow’s story! Throw in a bitchy assistant and you get some great scenes as Lana and Christophe get to know each other up close and personal!
