After testifying at the murder trial that sent her stepmother to prison and escaping an attempt on her life, Melody Shaw has lost everything. Formerly CEO of her family’s pharmaceutical company, she’s now living incognito as a housekeeper at a cozy resort in rural Montana. New career, new apartment, new name. She knows she needs to keep a low profile. The last thing she needs is a romance with … the handsome, hardworking owner of the Peak View Hot Springs Resort.
When rancher and resort owner Justin McQueen impulsively asks Melody for some ideas to increase bookings for the resort, he’s impressed with her creativity and quick thinking. He persuades the reluctant Melody to jump in as the temporary events coordinator, helping him plan a week of Christmas festivities. As they work together, both of them struggle to fight their growing attraction. Justin is still recovering from a bad break-up and is very aware that as her employer, he needs to tread carefully. He also senses Melody has a secret, which he is determined to uncover.
As their event planning comes to fruition, Justin knows he needs to put common sense on hold and take a chance on a love he wants to last forever.

Great read
This story was a pleasure to read and so easy to relate to.
Enjoyed reading and encouraged by how characters redirected their lives. Was inspirational.
Really interesting with great twists.
Started out fine then wound up phornographic trash
Good book, good characters. Couldn’t wait to read about all the brothers.
I liked it enough to buy the sequel.
Loved this book!
Her Cowboy Prince is contemporary western romance. It is loosely based on the classic fairy tale, Cinderella, with a hint of suspense. It’s an engaging story with likable characters. I loved reading about Justin’s family and the supporting characters. I have already read book 2 (The Cowboy’s Kiss) and am looking forward to book 3 for Wes, the last brother’s story. I do hope the author writes a story for Marty, though not a brother, he’s an interesting character and I see a wonderful story for him.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I just love Trish Milburn’s work. I have all of her work on Harlequin. Ms. Milburn always delivers quality stories to her readers. This story is another great read. I just loved the premise of WITSEC especially for a victim. The story is written in a dual POVs. This allows the reader to get into Melody’s head to understand her reasons for being cautious and slightly standoffishness (is that a word?) I just hated to put this book down. I was glued from the beginning. The only disappointment, the ENDING!!! It came way too soon. The book could have kept on going and going. If you love cowboy type of romance, then you have to pick this up.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
The characters + storytelling were very captivating
Melody is trying to keep a low profile,
An attempt on your life will do that to a person.
Justin is intrigued by Melody.
When he asked for her help, he is impressed by her creativity.
As they get to spend more time together, their attraction for each other grow as well.
Now, what are they going to do about it ?
I loved the storytelling + the characters
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
The suspense is killer when it comes to Justin and Melody. She’s a woman of mystery that keeps her secrets close and her heart under wraps. He’s a man with a plan intrigued by the woman whose erected an invisible shield. Their connection is intense. Can he convince her to let down her guard and give in to the power of love? Her Cowboy Prince is a tale of shattered trust that begins with the ultimate betrayal and reveals the healing power of falling in love.
I read this book twice thinking maybe I missed part of the first part of the book. Nope I did not. This book to me reads more like a second book in a series of two. (If I were Author Trish Milburn, I would go back and write Melody Shaw’s story. The one that got her to this place in time.) Anyways this book IS a good read…Like I said I did read it twice. Melody Shaw is in Witness Protection Program because her step-mom & sister killed her dad and tried to kill her. So she is in hiding from the steps while her step are in jail. Well she is supposedly dead. While she goes from being a super rich girl to working as a maid in a hotel , Then we have Justin McQueen a ranch owner who is running the family resort because his dad can’t. I will leave it at that. Melody and Justin feed off of a true need for each other. Please know the title of this book has nothing to do with this book at all. Not sure where that title came from and if it were to ever be revised I would highly suggest a new title for sure. (As I shake my head in wonder.) This IS a good read, that I can recommend without a doubt… Well written, enjoyable and yes romantic too yes.
