Princess Ava must marry a king—but things change when a cowboy takes the throne. . .Mark Jaroka is content with his life on the ranch, his brothers by his side. Until he becomes the cowboy king. Hauled halfway across the world after a royal family tragedy, Mark resolves to be worthy of the title. He’ll learn the ways of a monarch, but between him and his untamed brothers, the marble floors better … marble floors better get used to worn leather boots. Then he falters at an unexpected duty—forming a strategic alliance with the whip-tongued and supercilious Princess Ava Veisi.
Ava’s only chance at happiness is to escape royal life and leave her poisonous secrets behind. The problem? Her parents have demanded she marry the new King Markus. She stoops treacherously low to try to make him refuse her, but as her escape plans start to take form, she finds herself falling for the sexy, kind-natured cowboy.
On the brink of fleeing, Ava is torn between claiming her freedom and the love of a king. No matter her choice, it’s going to break her heart.
Her Cowboy King is the first book in the Cowboy Princes contemporary romance series. If you enjoy heartfelt emotion, real and compelling characters, and sweeping settings, then you’ll love this trope-blending romance by award-winning author Madeline Ash.

Suddenly a cowboy is king (oldest of triplets of the son who escaped royal life to ranch in America) … and the princess he must marry is wanting to escape royal life. She was within weeks of implementing her escape plan. I’m very impressed with the various princes. Not so impressed with the princess; ok, more impressed once I find out her motives. This is quite convoluted and twisted. I did skip the sex scenes. It did seem to have some slow down spots. But, overall, I quite enjoyed it. Curious about Kris’ story.
What a good book! Triplet brothers, who have been cowboys in Montana, learn that all the male relatives in succession to the throne, die in an unfortunate accident. Well, the oldest Mark finds himself from working horses to being the King in a very small European country. With their country in deep financial debt, the advisors propose a trade with the neighboring country, who are putting their daughter, Princess Ava, on the block to seal the deal. She has secrets that need to remain that way, so she gets Mark to refuse to marry her by being beyond obnoxious. The men are just country boys who are very laid back and are comfortable in their flannels and jeans. So, they rule with what they know, help and respect their fellow man. They strongly support one another especially the one who has not recovered from something that happen a few years ago, and is not very social. Well written and I am looking forward to the adventures of the next brother in line. Very enjoyable read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Some awesome twists in this one.
Now this one was different the hero is not just a cowboy oh no he is instead in line to become King of Kiraly. Now that is not all gang there is not just one brother no there are three and they are triplets. This book was so good, so unexpected, and such fun to read. Ava longs for freedom yet she is being forced as is our hero to marry to form a union for political reasons. I loved her characters as a matter of fact all the characters were outstanding. I agree with one review this book is more than what it seems. This is one book I highly recommend and I cannot wait for the next in the series. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Book one in the Cowboy Princes series a well written story by an Author I have not read before. Princess Ava Veisi and cowboy/king Mark Jaroka’s story it held my interest from cover to cover. I want to read the next book in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Mark Jaroka and his brothers Tommy and Kris all end up in a country foreign to them because they never thought that they would be in line for the Crown of Kiraly. Before they were just simply Horse Ranchers in Montana. They just also happened to be princes but no one knew about it because they kept it simple and did not live like royalty. They ended up in Kiraly after The king and the 2 heirs had a tragic accident at the same time. Ava is the princess of Kelehar and is just a pawn in her parents game of life, a political pawn. Since she doesn’t want to be married off to someone she does not care about she starts acting extremely spoiled and rude/evil to try to make sure that Mark wants nothing to do with her. Despite her craziness of course Mark is attracted to her. Mark turns down the political marriage and solves Kiraly’s crisis in another fashion so that he does not force someone else to do something that they do not want to. Once Mark turns her down as a political move Ava is willing to be his friend which is a dangerous situation for her. Several secrets come out and adventures ensue.
I liked this book. Sometimes the characters seemed real and other times it seemed really far fetched to me. Then I would think yeah a Princess that is always watched might actually feel alone in a room full of people and not know how to do things, like everyday tasks. That a princess when treated like a “common” would not be fully sure of themselves. I did like all of the triplets because they all had their own personalities and were all loyal to each other. I also don’t think Royalty could hide as easily as it seemed in the book. I do want to read the rest of the series as it comes out. I would love to see what happens when Kris finds out Frankie is the head of security and what happens to Tommy.

It took one news to uproar lives of triplets. From being cowboy to being a King. But duty and being honest and helpful was always way of life for Marcus. Until he meets Ava, he is attracted to her, she acts like he is beneath her. While spending more time together, she teaches him how to act a be a King, he teaches her everyday stuff, he develop feelings for her and he knows they will not be together.
That’s the first book by Madeline Ash I’ve read and I’m happy to give it a chance.
I loved the story, the plot and can’t wait to read more books by this author.
When family duty calls, Markus always steps up to the plate and in this instance it means taking up the reins as king of a small nation on the other side of the world. Together with his identical triplet brothers, they take one look at the opulence and formality of the castle and decide the cowboy boots and hats will just have to do. The plan definitely did not include marriage too the snooty Princess Ava, but apparently his advisers and her parents think otherwise. Ava has averted the disaster of marriage once before and knows that if she tries hard enough, she will succeed again. However, the cowboy triplets are more savvy than she gave them credit for and one by one they begin to see her as she really is. Whilst the plot of this story is pretty far fetched, the author makes it believable and I found myself becoming invested in the characters. It would appear that this novel is the start of a series, but it is nevertheless a standalone and comes to a successful close. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. Just an okay read
The description of this book sounded so good, and it was for the first couple of chapters. Then it slowed and became tedious with an unbelievable plot. Then at about the 60% mark it became a bit more interesting until the love issues were resolved in the end. However, the overarching dilemma was still hanging as I read the last word of the last page. I suppose it will not be truly resolved until later in the series. Who knows?
As to my other issues with this book. I just could not seem to like any of the characters, and the plot was far fetched. The writing was okay, but the characters had way more thoughts than dialogue. Overall, this book just didn’t do it for me. Maybe it will for you.
Content alert: There is a mildly describes sexual encounter and there are vulgarities (both secular and religious) peppered throughout this book.

Great book
But, I didn’t like the ending.
DNF!!!
Princess Ava Veisi wants to escape her family and live the life she really wants. Markus Jaroka becomes thrust into his new position as King after the loss of the current royalty. The three Jaroka brothers certainly are finding it hard to adjust to their new royal positions and customs. This is a story filled with interesting characters, storylines and a romance so good you can’t help but swoon.
At first I wasn’t sure about it but it got really interesting
I can’t say strongly enough how much I loved this story! Very original with wonderful characters. I’m already half way through Book 2 and loving it, too!
WAy too long and predictable end.
Compelling and beautiful story!
Interesting enough to make me buy the next in series.
A strange premise from cowboy to king but a fun read with an HEA. I do like the endings to be a little longer extending into the future a bit.
I wasn’t sure what to expect of this book from the description; I thought it would be more of a short, sweet “filler” book. But the storyline and the characters were expanded into something really interesting. Markus’s and Ava’s individual stories as well as “their” story were compelling. Looking forward to subsequent books for the “minor” characters in this series! I received this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
Her Cowboy King is a contemporary romance by Madeline Ash. Never having read any books by this author I didn’t know quite what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and liked the story. It actually kind of reminded me of Hallmark movies which is a good thing since I like Hallmark movies. I was pretty sure where the romance of Princess Ava and King Markus was going to end up but it was fun watching their romance develop. The plot moved along fairly quickly and there were a couple very ‘wow, I really did not see that coming’ scenes. I liked how the story has identical triplet brothers and how they look after and stand up for each other. Readers who like contemporary romance with a little cowboy and a little royalty thrown in will enjoy Her Cowboy King. I’ll add a small disclaimer here since I usually review books in the Christian genre, there is one fairly steamy love scene and a smattering of cuss words in the book.
I read a complimentary copy of the book and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.
