This is a fantastic read. I love how the Author has brought this story to fruition and how as I read I felt like I new the Characters personally. This read pulled me in. And captured me from start to finish. I could not put the book down. I definitely recommend.

Who doesn’t love a second chance at love? Author Dora Hier’s has a talent for creating characters the reader immediately cares for in the opening chapters of her novels. Her Cowboy Forever is a beautifully written story of forgiveness, hope and redemption. From the first few pages, I fell in love with Ryder and his protective ways over his adorable niece Sophie, while the chemistry rekindles with Eden. This is a must read for those who enjoy a clean, faith filled romance, second chances and new beginnings.
So much wonderful stuff going on in this book. Selflessness on the part of the heroine. Taking on the raising of his niece by the hero. Lots of personal history to overcome and figure out by both. Whew!! Excellent writing and clean. I received an advance reader copy. Opinions are my own.
When Ryder gets the call that he has to return home his life will change forever. Sophie is a wonderful little girl who Ryder is doing everything to help her. Eden is struggling to work and keep her family home. Dora Hiers will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful book. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
I had no intention to read this story right now. I have at five ARCs due by month’s end. As I was organizing my Kindle and iBooks, I clicked on this to see where I needed to file it until I’m able to read for pleasure. Was that ever a mistake. I was hooked within the first couple of paragraphs. I knew this needed read NOW, not later.
Little Sophie and Uncle Ryder grabbed my heart on that first page and held it till the finish. And Eden has her own way of sneaking up on your heart too, even if her thinking process is rather ridiculous at times. She can be her own worst enemy. Good book.
OBSERVATIONS:
This a ‘feel good’ book. By that I mean, it draws you into the storyline without unnecessary angsty drama. There are problems and obstacles to overcome, but you are given hope when reading about those issues. You want to keep turning the pages to see how things will work out, all the while knowing that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord.
Will Eden and Ryder have a second chance at love and happiness? Ryder is back in town after ten of service with the Marines. He needs a nanny for his five years old niece. Eden is pregnant and needs a job to pay her bills. Can they work an agreement and help each other? A sweet story about love, faith and second chances.
I enjoyed the story of Ryder and Eden. They have many obstacles to overcome, but each has learned to rely on God. This was an easy to read book and has a happily ever after type of ending. I received a complimentary copy of this story, but have freely chosen to offer my own thoughts and opinions.
Such an inspirational story. Ryder and Eden knew each other from childhood. Both had lived through hardships and learned to rely on God. I so wanted them to find out they each still loved the other. I read this story in 2 sittings. If you like clean inspiring stories I highly recommend ‘Her Cowboy Forever.’ I received this book from the publisher. The thoughts and comments are my own.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Dora Hiers, via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary and honest review. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it won’t be my last. I loved this heartwarming story of Ryder and Eden. They met in their teens and silently loved each other but unwelcome circumstances kept them apart for years. Eden never left town but was struggling to survive on low paying jobs when Ryder came back to town to raise his niece, Sophie, after her parents were killed in an auto accident. Ryder offered Eden a job as Sophie’s nanny when she was fired from her diner job. Then he realized that she was pregnant and single. Who is the father of Eden’s baby, and will Ryder still love her and marry her? You will have to read the book to find out. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to reading more books by this author.
I love it when a book is entertaining and has a positive message! This is a Christian romance without being preachy. The storyline is beautiful and well written. The characters have depth and real life issues. I highly recommend this one.
I received an ARC and have chosen to give my honest opinion.
Loved it!!!
Ryder and Eden parted 10 years ago after a misunderstanding. Circumstances kept them apart all that time. Now reunited, their lack of communication skills keep conflict going. However, Ryder isn’t the same man he used to be. This guy is a warrior in the truest sense, using every weapon God put at his disposal at salvation. Eden’s heart is almost too giving to survive living in her small town, but she’s stronger than she first appears and this girl doesn’t have a drop of quit in her DNA. The storyline was wonderful as were the supporting characters. Great story.
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, comfy read. The characters have faith that we all aspire to.
I even shed a couple of tears, but wouldn’t call it a tear jerker.
Little princess is a cutie pie in need of many cuddles. So sweet.
Her Cowboy Forever is a beautiful story that kept me reading all evening. As soon as I finished the book, I wanted to start reading it again! I fell in love with the characters. This well written story is about hope, surrogacy, redemption, and second chances. I highly recommend it.
A wonderful, inspirational story of love, hope, trust, and second chances. How sweet that Ryder and Eden first met and fell in love as teenagers who had a lot of growing up and life to experience. I really enjoyed how richly this story was woven throughout by faith. I also liked the main characters of Ryder and Eden and how their pasts did not define their future. I also liked their trust and faith in each other. I enjoyed watching Ryder step up for his niece, Sophie after her parents were killed and what Eden was willing to do for her friends was amazing. The Combat to Cowboy program that Ryder started on his ranch was very inspirational too. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
I absolutely adore this book. It was amazing and is a great addition to the Potter’s House series. I cannot get over how incredible this Christian, cowboy romance was. The characters were gold. The storyline was perfect. There was loss and hope and uncertainty and love and new beginnings. It was truly wonderful. I’m excited to see what Hiers comes up with for her next book.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
A young woman who is willing to do anything for her friends. And then an old friend comes home – and he needs her help too. She will do ANYTHING for the man she loves .. . and prays for the chance to help him too . . . . SUPERB BOOK. Lots of twists and turns!!!
This is an overtly Christian story. I didn’t notice any preaching, but the characters pray about every need and praise God frequently, a great example for the rest of us!
God-incidences abound in this story, sometimes after prayer, sometimes not realized they were an answer to a need until they were looked back on.
The characters were well rounded. We learn their history, and meet their neighbors in a very organic way––there’s no info dump.
The dialog and actions all seem natural.
During the darkest times of his life Ryder never forgot Eden. Finally home, he is stunned when he runs into Eden for the first time in years and she is most definitely pregnant! He isn’t sure why he feels the Lord has lead him back home when his prayers have focused around his desire to start a Combat to Cowboys program and to reunite with Eden, just to find her carrying another man’s child. But he wants to trust in Him that all will be revealed.
Eden is making the ultimate sacrifice but she isn’t ready to share the details with the man she has been drawn to since she was 15. Now, Ryder is back in town and he isn’t alone. The adorably sad five year old with him tugs at her heart and his need for an immediate nanny works out perfectly when she loses her job.
BUT, with the back and forth misunderstandings and insecurities will these two ever figure out how to make a relationship work?
The amount of religious focus in this book became overwhelming and distracting.
I also have some serious issues with the amount of coffee Eden drinks during her pregnancy, and for as religious focused as this book is I was surprised Eden & Ryder didn’t get married in church.
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
A testament to faith and redemption, finding your forever love and trusting in God’s plan. A beautifully crafted love story that will warm your heart.
I received this copy free from the author and am under no obligation to leave a review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am freely sharing my opinion.
