Can he work his way into her heart? Former golden girl McKenna Benjamin is now a single mom with a toddler struggling to eek out a living on her small Montana ranch, which was recently damaged by wildfire. She may be down, but no way is she out. And she’s definitely not going to turn to her wealthy I-told-you-so family for aid. McKenna considers herself a lucky survivor, and is committed to … committed to making it on her own even if her neighbor’s sexy horse trainer is the one offering to help.
Horse trainer Brodie Collins needs a part-time assistant, but when his boss suggests hiring McKenna, Brodie is skeptical. The McKenna he once knew would never stoop to hard work, but Brodie soon realizes that ten years has utterly altered McKenna. Gone is the entitled beauty – replaced by a confident, determined woman, and Brodie finds himself falling hard.
Can this cowboy break down the protective barriers and win McKenna’s trust and her heart?

This was a great addition to this series and I would recommend this book and series. I was given a ARC of this book from the publisher via Netgalley. It was my pleasure to write a review of this book and would like to thank you for the opportunity.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an early copy of this book that I received from NetGalley.
This is one of the many books that I have read by this author and I find her work quite fun to read. This story is about McKenna Benjamin, she has to get a job on Zach Marvell’s ranch to help make ends meet on her own farm. She ends up working closely with Brodie, whom she knew in high school. She used to live a privileged life, and Brodie wasn’t so sure that she had changed.
This is one of a series of books that are based on the Men of Marvell Ranch. I absolutely love any of the books that are set in Montana- but I especially enjoy those written by Ms Watt.
I enjoyed returning to Marietta, Montana and the Marvell Ranch. I especially liked McKenna Benjamin, a woman trying to change her image from the rich, spoiled princess she used to be to a hard working, single mom with a cute two year old child named Josh. Her ex-husband did a number on her but she is starting to become strong again.
Throw in a good looking cowboy named Brodie, who just so happens to end up as her boss on her new job at the Marvell Ranch and I could not turn the pages fast enough to see how this story would turn out and the author did not disappoint me. Then I was sad when the story was over. I really like this series and hope it will continue with another book or two. I received an advance copy of this book and I willing chose to write an honest review.
“Her Cowboy Boss” (Men of Marvell Ranch Book 4) by Jeannie Watt is a wonderful read. I loved McKenna and Brodie’s story. This was the first book I’ve read from this author, and I’m looking forward to reading more in the future. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series. This story has hot cowboys, romance, passion, ranch life, humor, and more. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, cowboys, and series.
Issues of trust abound in this novel of love that could be if only. McKenna has trust issues stemming from her mentally abusive, narcissistic ex-husband. Brodie had a problematic romance in his last job that led him to leave it and return to Marietta. Both need their jobs together on a ranch and love and romance might get in the way and ruin it for both of them.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
