All the maid at Whiskey Mountain Lodge wants for her birthday is a handsome cowboy billionaire. And Colton can make that wish come true—if only he hadn’t moved to Coral Canyon after being left at the altar…Annie Pruitt has worked for the Whittaker Brothers for years, and now with the lodge a full-fledged mountain resort, she’s the full-time maid up the canyon. She’s getting older, and she’s … older, and she’s watched all these people come through Whiskey Mountain Lodge who’ve found love.
And she wants to be next.
When Celia bakes her a birthday cake and the whole family gathers for Annie’s party, they tell her to make a wish. Easy, peasy. She wishes for a cowboy billionaire of her own, and not five minutes later, in walks tall, broad, beautiful Colton Hammond.
Colton needs a place to stay after his fiancée leaves him standing at the altar with all of his friends and family watching. He’s left Colorado and he’s not going back. He’s also not interested in women or dating. He just needs somewhere to stay for a few nights, and he’s heard great things about Whiskey Mountain Lodge–but not, apparently, that it’s closed for a private event every year during the holidays.
But the Whittakers are nothing if not kind and accommodating, and they manage to find a bed for Colton. Sparks fly between him and Annie when she starts asking him questions, and with so many meddlers at the lodge, he and Annie really don’t stand a chance of just ignoring each other.
Will Annie’s birthday wish come true? Or will Colton’s scarred heart keep them from achieving happily-ever-after?

Had read the 1st book in the series and enjoyed it. This one is equally good matching billionaires with working class women. All are seeking the right path for their lives and God is answering their prayers for direction. Two loving families coming together for a HEA. Apparently missed a few books in between as much has changed so will gratefully seek the ones missed.
Great romance! I had a hard time putting it down. Loved the characters and the story. Thank you
This is the first in a wonderful series by Liz Isaacson. Check it out.
Loved it
The writing was well-done and the story interesting. I kept wanting to see if all would turn out OK. There were some unexpected twists in the story.
I enjoyed it and would like to read the next one but had difficulty trying to purchase it.
Predictable like most romance, but sweet story with realistic characters
I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the subsequent books in this series.
Enjoyed the people
I didn’t finish it. I guess it’s not my genre.
So slow. Different POV’s not just main couple. Makes hard to follow the story. I felt like he had more chemistry with the other women then her. And I felt bad for her. He never seemed to want to be with her. This book just wasn’t for me.
This series gets better and better. The families have grown and the love remains. Christmas is always a big time for the group. I love how their employees are thought of as family, too. Anything Liz writes, is exceptional. This is a great book to read. I received this book as a gift in exchange for and honest review.
4 stars
Thank you for this delightful tale of a birthday wish and its consequences. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and am looking forward to reading the next installment!!
Her Cowboy Billionaire Birthday Wish by Liz Isaacson brings a love story back to Whiskey Mountain Lodge with old friends and new ones. A birthday wish and a tall stranger combine to bring us to frustration and family values. This story proves that a middle age love can go through the same turmoil as a young love with attraction, conflicts, jealousy, misunderstanding and acceptance of the each other.
This story will bring you a night (or day) full of entertainment and enjoyment.
ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars
Her Cowboy Billionaire Birthday Wish is book 9 in Christmas in Coral Canyon by Liz Isaacson, enjoying this series!
Annie Pruitt, maid at Whiskey Mountain Lodge wants to find love like all the people who have come through the Lodge. So when the Lodge celebrates for her 52nd birthday, she wishes for a cowboy billionaire her own. Little does she expect her wish to happen almost immediately but in walks Colton Hammond…is he her birthday wish or is Colton’s heart not for the asking?
just loved the story of Annie and Colton. It was a sweet story of an older couple who have to learn to trust each other before they can com to each other. Both are scared to start something but the heart wants what the heart wants. There were obstacles that got in the way, but they persevered to achieve a HEA. I would definitely recommend this book. I was given an arc and this is my honest review.
I enjoyed Colton and Annie’s story very much! I highly recommend this book!
This is clean and well written book. I love how they consider the employees family. If people would treat each other that way we wouldn’t have wars all the time. Annie Pruitt lost her husband along time ago and when she saw Colton Hammond she fell hard. She wished on her birthday that she would find a cowboy. I was given a ARC of this book and I highly recommend reading it.
Another visit to the Whitaker Clan and Annie who has been cleaning for the Whiskey Mountain Lodge and is like one of the family. When billionaire Colton gets left at the alter he drops in to stay at the Lodge where he meets Annie who is ready to find someone to make a life with as she is getting older. Colton and Annie are attracted but is Colton ready to jump back into another relationship since the last one turned out so badly. Enjoyed reading this story with an older couple who are both looking for love but Colton is a little gun shy.
