All the maid at Whiskey Mountain Lodge wants for her birthday is a handsome cowboy billionaire. And Colton can make that wish come true—if only he hadn’t moved to Coral Canyon after being left at the altar…Annie Pruitt has worked for the Whittaker Brothers for years, and now with the lodge a full-fledged mountain resort, she’s the full-time maid up the canyon. She’s getting older, and she’s … older, and she’s watched all these people come through Whiskey Mountain Lodge who’ve found love.
And she wants to be next.
When Celia bakes her a birthday cake and the whole family gathers for Annie’s party, they tell her to make a wish. Easy, peasy. She wishes for a cowboy billionaire of her own, and not five minutes later, in walks tall, broad, beautiful Colton Hammond.
Colton needs a place to stay after his fiancée leaves him standing at the altar with all of his friends and family watching. He’s left Colorado and he’s not going back. He’s also not interested in women or dating. He just needs somewhere to stay for a few nights, and he’s heard great things about Whiskey Mountain Lodge–but not, apparently, that it’s closed for a private event every year during the holidays.
But the Whittakers are nothing if not kind and accommodating, and they manage to find a bed for Colton. Sparks fly between him and Annie when she starts asking him questions, and with so many meddlers at the lodge, he and Annie really don’t stand a chance of just ignoring each other.
Will Annie’s birthday wish come true? Or will Colton’s scarred heart keep them from achieving happily-ever-after?

I love the entire series. I will soon be reading the last book in the series. All of Liz’s books are realistic. The characters have the same problems and emotions we all have. She keeps it Christian without going “preachy” through the struggles and prayers of the characters. All of her books are delightful.
A great story! Great characters. Enjoyed every minute spent at Whiskey Mountain Lodge
Annie is getting older and wants to find her ever after. She has worked for the Wittakers for many years and has seen so many find love and she wants the same. So on her birthday she wishes for a billionaire boyfriend and minutes later Colton Hammond walks in.
Colton was stood up at the alter and all he wants to go is get away and has no desire for romance, until he meets Annie.
A very good book to cuddle up with on a cold winter night.
Her Cowboy Billionaire Birthday Wish, Christmas At Whiskey Mountain Lodge, A Hammod Brothers Novel Book 1. Again this author takes us back to the events that happen each Christmas at the Whiskey Mountain Lodge with the Whittaker family and friends. As usual, there are new people that are at the event and this year they have new employees where they have all moved out of the lodge and are letting it be used as a luxury lodge up in the canyon. Just as they are celebrating the birthday of Annie, the owner of the maid service they use, she blew out the candles and made a wish. A wish for her a cowboy billionaire like the Whittaker boys. And just at that moment a man arrived at the lodge seeking shelter from the snow storm outside. He met Annie’s eyes and it was instantaneous between them. He had a white cowboy hat, boots and jeans. And the author plainly states through the story that they believed the Lord had heard her prayers and they believed it was meant for them to be together. Being at the lodge brought back the faith in God Colton had almost given up on. He felt that he came back to life with Annie. But, what about his visiting with Bree and Elise? Will one of them be better for him?
Annie is a widow in her forties who doesn’t want to send the rest of her life alone. She works for great billionaire brothers at the Whiskey Mountain Lodge as a maid. Annie makes a birthday wish for a billionaire of her own! Billionaire Colton gets caught in a snowstorm in Wyoming and needs a place to stay. When he shows up at the Lodge during the family (and employees) birthday/Christmas party, the family makes room for him. You will enjoy this story as woman shy Colton is attracted to Annie! I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.
I love Liz’s books! They are easy quick reads that let you escape into the life’s of her characters!
One of the characters just seemed to be immature to me for her age. But it was still an easy summer read
I liked the characters in this series. The stories follows from book to book and it was an easy read.
This is exactly the type of book I love to get away into. Great characters, great storyline, great characters. Thanks!
I love this book and can’t wait to continue the series!
I liked that the characters were down to earth and not snooty. They seemed like real people and a lot of fun tone around. Great story line and hard to put down.
I love this author. I love every book by her that I’ve read!
Great book
This story kept me reading on and on when I had other important things to do! I couldn’t wait to turn the page. You will enjoy this feel-good read!
I really enjoyed this book so much that I read the whole series
Fun cowboy love story. Easy to read.
Nice, clean romance! I love this whole series because the characters are real and have their own issues to deal with in order to fall in love. The setting is great and all of the books can weave together, or stand alone.
Meeting someone with unlimited funds earned legally is a dream of many romantics who purchase romance to read. The author spins her tale so realistically that by the end of the novel, one believes it is truly possible. This novel does not deviate from this particular author’s approach to romance in all her novels: (1) Having a great deal of money does not always corrupt a person. (2) People can follow instilled moral principles during courtship. An excellent an engaging story.
Annie was insecure, but Colton’s and Bree’s actions did not help matters. They should not have been spending time alone in Bree’s cabin or going horse back riding alone for hours. Platonic or not, their actions were disappointing and it did not indicate Bree was a true friend to Annie. Colton and Bree are not my favorite characters.
Very sweet story. Enjoyed the read.
