Celia is finally ready to date again—but not the man whose family has a century-old feud with hers…Celia Armstrong has spent almost two decades mourning the loss of her husband, raising her two girls, and taking care of everyone except for herself. When her best friend gets married, Celia’s right there, taking care of everything at Whiskey Mountain Lodge. Before the ceremony, she catches sight … ceremony, she catches sight of a handsome man in a cowboy hat she hasn’t seen before. When she finally gets a good look at the man when she gets paired with him in the wedding party, she realizes he’s Zach Zuckerman, from the family across the street that has a decades-old grudge against her family.
Zach doesn’t want to be at the wedding, just like he doesn’t want to get involved with Celia. But the attraction between them is intense, and they start dating. His brothers will be livid when they find out who his new girlfriend is, and he and Celia start to investigate the root of the animosity between their two families.
Amidst her daughter’s wedding and dealing with graduations and family events, Celia and Zach learn that her family is the reason the Zuckermans have hated the Abbotts for so long. Zach tries to talk to his brothers and father, but his pleas fall on deaf ears.

A wonderful story about people you would like to meet and get to know
A fun read.
I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Liz Isaacson has a great addition to this series. Interesting plot and characters. The problems associated with a family feud and a second marriage for both parties. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
Celia is a character who has been in the background of all of the previous books in the series. She is the personal chef for the Whiskey Mountain Lodge and is known for her excellent cooking and her nurturing spirit. She is one of my favorite characters and I was delighted that she was getting her chance at a happily-ever-after in this book but it was not without its challenges. Celia had to walk the aisle with the best man at her best friend’s wedding. There was an instant attraction between them but with a closer look she realized that Zach was her deceased husband’s former best friend–and he was still quite handsome even 25 years after she last saw him. The men had lost touch when she married her husband because of a feud between her family and Zach’s that had been going on for generations. This story deals with the challenges of finding love a second time and with the theme of forgiveness. It had a few really sad moments where I shed a few tears but it also was quite romantic and I really loved the story! Highly recommend! I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is the first book I have read in the Coral Canyon series. I like that it is a romance for a more mature couple in their 50’s. So, yes you can find love, romance, and marriage after 40. Lol.
I thought the theme of a century old family feud was interesting, especially in this day and age. Zach’s family was unforgiving and unreasonable to the point of frustration. That was the only part of the book where I felt like I was missing a back story.
I was able to keep up with Zach, Celia, their kids, and their siblings. When the book for into the Whittaker’s and the Everett’s, that is when a slight bit of confusion kicked in for me. There are too many people to keep up with in Coral Canyon.
Everyone in this book seemed to be falling in love. It was a very wholesome, romantic, sweet, faith based book. It was a nice change of pace from things going on in the world today.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book received from the author.
Celia has been such a staple figure in all of these Whittaker/Everett books and it’s thrilling to see her get a book and romance of her own. The long time feud between families was a great thread woven it. It was enticing and sobering.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Man is another great story of the Coral Canyon family, the Whittaker’s. This story centers around Cecila and Zach, Finn’s best friend. They met at Finn and Amanda’s wedding but soon seen they knew each other since they were young. Actually their families did not get along at all. They were like the Hatfields and the McCoys. So you know this story is going to have it’s fair share of ups and downs. So by the Christmas Eve gathering at Whiskey Mountain Lodge, there had been 2 weddings and a slew of newborn babies added to the families. It just keeps the love these families have forming a tighter bond with each and every addition.
An amazing addition to a wonderful series, this standalone was perfect. It is a clean engaging story that had me engaged with twists and turns, a long time family feud, and enough angst and love that kept me addicted from start to finish. The characters were interesting, well developed with great chemistry and added cameos from previous characters. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC and own and recommend the whole series.
I enjoyed reading the romance of Celia who catches the eye of handsome cowboy Zach! Their families have feuded for years and while Celia’s brothers want her to be happy, Zack’s family does not like this new romance! I recommend this romantic story of a couple with adult children. I received a complimentary e-book from the author.
What a wonderful story. I would say I am amazed, but I’ve come to expect this author’s books to be superb, and this one is no exception. I believe it is my favorite one in this series – so far! I loved that the story encompasses all age groups, and that problems and situations affect all age groups. I strongly urge you to read this book. It is a lovely journey.
Another great Christmas in Coral Canyon! Celia, a widow, wonders if she is too old to date and maybe find love like her friend that is getting married. When she sees the best man, Zach, at the wedding she thinks she might want to get to know him better. But they both realize that their families have a long standing feud. Will their love be enough for the families to move on from the past? I love these books where the main characters are older and there is always some different angle. Whether it be adoption, deafness, or blended families. Don’t miss this new short-read from Liz Isaacson!
As a continuation of a series, this book is great. I had been hoping Celia would get her own story but was not expecting it to be with a man from a family that her own family has been having a very ugly feud with for close to one hundred years. I liked that Celia and Zach couldn’t have cared less about the feud but since they both deeply loved their siblings they were reluctant to let them know they were dating each other. What can they do? Discovering the root cause of the feud and then finding a way to peacefully resolve the issue seems like such a good idea. Now to get everyone on board with the plan. Especially one particularly very angry brother. Let’s see if they can find a way to achieve peace and get their own chance at HEA with each other.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Their families have been enemies for years can they find love anyway? Celia is really to find love and marriage after being a widow for many years. Zach was her husband’s best friend. I like how they have chemistry and how Zach doesn’t give up on catching Celia. The angst did frustrate me but liked how Celia showed her strong woman self. Their adult children were awesome and so supportive.
Imagine a feud that started 100 years ago and being continued even though most have no idea why it started. This is the situation Zach and Celia find themselves in. His family continues to be angry. When I pick up a Liz Isaacson book, I have certain expectations: strong characters, interesting story line, romance and a few twists. This book meet those expectations. I loved that this story involved mature characters. It was fun to watch them try to balance parents, siblings, children and friends. I recommend this book.
HER COWBOY. BILLIONAIRE BEST MAN .
Celia now at fifty five, having raised two daughters hadn’t needed anything or anybody. Now, asking the Lord would it be possible to find another husband.
A stranger came into the lodge, she knew hm, and with an added pulse liking what she was seeing. A partner was needed as he was the best man and then she knew he was .Zack from their childhood days. As for Zack, the first woman to catch his eye in a long time, and he wanted to ask the Lord why. Their two families have been feuding for years, so to date wasn’t a possibility.
Would they let love slip by them, or find away to have love and show love to their families. Hoping in time the older ones would except them.
What a sweet story of love and forgiveness. We get to know more about the Whittaker family cook Celia in this story. I enjoyed watching the characters grow.
