She’s best friends with the single dad cowboy’s brother and has watched two friends find love with the sexy new cowboys in town. When Gray Hammond comes to Whiskey Mountain Lodge with his son, will Elise finally get her own happily-ever-after with one of the Hammond brothers?Elise Murphy tends to the grounds and animals at Whiskey Mountain Lodge—and she’s just fine working with plants and animals … plants and animals who don’t talk back. She’s shy and petite, but is finding her place among the louder Whittaker family the longer she works for them.
She’s also incredibly lonely and tired of being on the sidelines. But she doesn’t know how to break out of the mold she’s lived in for so long, despite her best friend’s urgings to do so. If her best friend wasn’t one of the Hammond brothers, who’s so full of charm and confidence, Elise might think he actually understood.
Gray Hammond has visited Whiskey Mountain Lodge in the past, and with his parents off on a cruise for the holidays and his job at the family company wrapped up, he decides to take his son to the lodge for Christmas to visit his two older brothers who now live in Coral Canyon. When he gets introduced to Colton’s best friend, Gray can hardly remember who he is or where he came from.
What he knows is Elise is gorgeous, and her shy spirit is exactly what his more analytical mind likes. He has no job to get back to, and plenty of reasons to keep all women out of his son’s life. His life too, he tells himself. But he can’t help the gravitational pull to Elise, and as they get to know each other, he wonders if they could make a relationship—and a family—work.
Can Elise find true love with her best friend’s brother? Or will Gray’s fears and worries about his son keep them on neutral ground?

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend’s Brother, Christmas At Whiskey Mountain Lodge, A Hammond Brothers Novel, Book 3. A story full of all the makings for a great love at first sight and happily ever afters. Wes and Bree had their ups and downs but, when they got back together it was for good. Bree had made arrangements for them to go to Hawaii as that was the last state for Wes to visit. When they arrived he told Bree he wanted to get married that night in Hawaii on the beach. They sent video link for their family and friends to watch. A couple months later they decided to have a wedding celebration dinner for their family and friends. They also shared the news of a baby coming later that year. Eden had decided to get married at the lodge at the Christmas tree lighting. After Gray almost lost Elise, Hunter told him he made a mistake and to fix it. So Gray and Elise decided to be the second couple to get married after the tree lighting. Elise and Hunter had became so close and he told her he wanted her to be his mother. She was so happy that not only would she be forever in love with Gray but, she would have a son to help mold into a man. These Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge just keep getting bigger each year. There is never a stranger, just a new friend. The kind of place everyone would like to be at Christmas.
I love Liz Isaacson’s Hammond Brothers Novels. This one is about Gray the oldest and Elise. Elise is a gardener at the Lodge and is best friends with Gray’s brother Colton. Gray has just retired from being a corporate Attorney and has a 12 year old son, Hunter, who he is very protective of. Elise has watched two of her friends find love and she is tired of being alone.
When the two meet sparks fly, but they can’t seem to get together. Besides Elise feels nothing will work out because Gray lives in another state. They text back and forth for months. Gray has been burned in the past by women trying to use him. Is Elise different. Will they be able to make it work?
I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Enjoyed reading this story with Elise who works at Whisky Mountain Lodge and her best friends brother Gray who comes for a visit with his son Hunter. Elise is quiet and shy which draws Gray to her but neither one is looking for a relationship. Gray’s son helped bring the couple together and I loved the story plot along with the characters.

Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend’s Brother is book 11 in the Christmas in the Coral Canyon series by Liz Isaacson. Does another Hammond brother find love in Coral Canyon?
Another Hammond brother comes to Coral Canyon after leaving his job at the family business, missing and wanting to see his other brothers and the life they has built with the women they love….what Gray doesn’t expect is to find is a woman who pushes all his buttons. Only problem…he isn’t looking to find love…
Elise has watched all her friends find the men dreams are made of but…when Gray and his son come to Coral Canyon her heart wants pitter patters but after other disastrous relationships she is determined to think with her head not her heart…
Can these two over past hurts, disastrous relationships and open their hearts to find a love worth fighting for?
I know that I say this with every successive book in this series but I really do believe that this one is my favorite out of all of them (so far)! Both Elise and Gray have issues that need major work to overcome and Gray really does end up almost sabotaging the whole relationship due to those trust issues. For me, Hunter (Gray’s son) was the one that saved that relationship from imploding and stole my heart too in the process! Who wouldn’t want a boy like that to call their child!!
**My only issue with the book was the unusual lack of consistency by Ms. Isaacson to follow-up on the introduction of the adorable puppy that Gray had given to Elise on Valentine’s day. We get a great description of the puppy and the length he had gone into researching the breed (Labradoodle), the breeder (local), how he had fallen in love with it and was thinking of getting another one for Hunter, all the paraphernalia he had purchased for Elise to train and care for the puppy properly, the name Elise had given the puppy (Hutch), and then POOF! nothing more is said about it and there is no mention of it even when Elise is moving to Denver to be near Gray and Hunter, or running back to Coral Canyon after the big Gray sabotage!! NOTHING! Since I am a HUGE dog lover and take pet ownership very seriously this just did not sit well with me and I am disappointed in the author not treating this subject with the appropriate respect it deserves. There is a mention of a dog named Sparky later in the book but it is never clear whether that is the same dog since it is mentioned only in reference to when Gray and Hunter are out on the farm and Elise is not present at the time. Did Gray follow through and get Hunter his own dog or what? Where did that dog come from and who did it really belong to?**
Other than that this was a fabulous book and is still so very much worth reading!!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I had an ARC copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Liz Isaacson. The characters and their problems are realistic and interesting. The theme of forgiveness is applicable to everyone. The faint aspect of the story was great to see.
Gray Hammond is the oldest brother of the Hammond brothers. He meets Elsie at his brother house. He just retired from there company. All his brothers are billionaires. He has a son, Hunter, which he is over protective of. His brother Wes is Elsie’s best friend. This is a clean well written story and I highly recommend reading it. I was given a ARC of this book and it is the 11th book in the series. Such wonderful characters and story line.
The story of Elise and Gary was really good. He was afraid of getting close to anyone because of his son. She loved all children. Once again the author produced a fantastic book to read by all.
“Her Cowboy Billionaire Best Friend’s Brother”, by Liz Isaacson, is a Great, Engrossing, Western, Christian Romance! This is essentially Elise & Gray’s long distance Story.
Gray is Very Protective of his 12 yr. old son, Hunter. He stopped dating many years ago, after a couple women, used his son’s affection, to get some of his ! He also feels responsible for his aging parents, & their Ranch. So Gray is cautious of his instant attraction to Elise; especially because they live hours away from each other.
Despite the obstacles in their way, God draws Gray & Elise into a Relationship. But how do they get to their Forever ? I Highly Recommend You Read this Entertaining Story, to See How God brings Gray, Hunter, & Elise together into a Family!!
Liz Isaacson continues to delight with stories of the Hammond and Whittaker families and friends. These stories are filled with likable characters, interesting story lines, romance and misunderstandings. Gray and Elise have more than distance between them. I look forward to Cy’s story.
I really enjoyed this installment. Not only did we get the next two boys’ perspectives, we got to go back and get more of Wes, Bree, and Colton! I loved it! It was great watching their stories unfold further as we delved into Gray and Elise’s. It was a really good single dad romance.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Absolutely love this couple and the young son of the single father. This is a great book, the characters are real and sincere. The story takes it’s time to develop and the way it weaves is very well done. Really loved it.
The storyline was wonderfully written and the characters were created with such great detail and depth that Gray and Elise kept me totally invested throughout the entire book!
I love the Hammond brothers and Whiskey Mountain Lodge! The love story of Gray and Elise gets off to a rocky start and is long-distance. Throw in past hurts and a teenager and it just gets better! I think that it is great that these characters are more mature with past life experiences. Always trusting in God’s guidance to get them through their triumphs and trials. Don’t miss this new addition to the Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge series!
Liz Isaacson did it again. This book was so good. I’m really enjoying reading about the Hammond brothers. Elise and Gray’s story captivated me from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down until I finished. I anxiously await the next book.
I thought this book started out a little slow for me, but picked up pretty quickly.
I liked Elise. I think she has been my favorite female character of this series. She didn’t spend a lot of time in her head thinking she wasn’t good enough for Gray. Gray started out being stiff, kind of inflexible. I liked the way his character started to loosen up over time. I also liked that his interactions with Elise and Hunter were the catalysts that helped him along that path.
I was glad that Elise and Hunter connected so well, and there was none of that step parent/step child drama. There was not much angst in this book, and I truly appreciated that. I did like that there was a discussion about parenting and the uncertainty sometimes involved in decision making. It made Gray more vulnerable and Elise less stressed.
I also appreciated the glimpse into Cy’s story. I am looking forward to reading his book.
A Sweet romance full of love, support, friendship, family, and faith. Gray, Elise, and Hunter do get their HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Gray and Elise’s story is a fun one to read. Gray is a single dad, runs marathons, is cared of committing to a relationship because it may blow-up in his face and heart his son. Elise works at a resort on a ranch, comes from a broken family, and is scared of being alone and the dark.
