This is a very nice (and clean! Yay!) romance. Cy and Patsy are interesting characters, but the story ran a bit too slowly in the middle.
Her Cowboy Billionaire Beast, Christmas At Whiskey Mountain Lodge, A Hammond Brothers Novel, Book 4. Another year goes by with the new couple Patsy and Cy becoming close and Cy takes over for a few months as social director at the Lodge in Bree’s place. Patsy had knew he had some issues but was not worried. She told him to control letting the beast come out of him. She knew he got really excited at times and sometimes he was depressed. She thought once his motorcycle shop and home was built and winter in Wyoming was over he would be better. Patsy is also going through some emotional turmoil with her family, especially her sister Betty for ownership of the apple orchards. She wanted to bring them back making a sizable profit like they used to be. While she is going through all of this with Betty, Cy decides that it was time to break up as she could never just say thank you for a gift like the extra orchards on his side of the road he wanted her to have. We also meet baby Michael, Wes and Bree’s baby, and baby Jane, the new addition to Elise and Gray’s family. They enjoy another special Christmas Eve at Whiskey Mountain Lodge with the Whittaker family and friends, and the Hammond’s that live in Coral Canyon are leaving by plane to spend a week in Colorado with the Hammond family starting Christmas Day. It should be a great homecoming for their parents and Grams.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Cy moved to Coral Canyon after he lost his girlfriend and his shop. Patsy has been burned by her ex boyfriend. Too many things happen that they keep bumping into each other. Can they love again or were they too burned to let it happen.

Another good story from an excellent author that touches on some real issues like mental health problems. People can be stubborn and think that they can fix themselves but the bottom line is that no one can do it alone.

Can Forever Happen to the Youngest Hammond Brother?
Liz Isaacson’s Excellent 4th “Hammond Brothers Novel” is, “Her Cowboy Billionaire Beast”. This Western, Christian Romance is about Patsy (Whiskey Mountain Lodge’s General Manager), and Cy Hammond. They each feel like an outcast from their respective family. Only God can bring this Custom Motorcycle Builder’s emotions from a Beast into a healthy Balance. Only God can give Patsy her Dream Job. I Highly Recommend You Read this Story to see how God brings Patsy and Cy to their Forever ! I found it to be a Wonderful, Inspirational, and Engrossing Story!
I highly enjoyed this book. The characters are well developed and engaging and full of connection and chemistry throughout the pages. The storyline took my attention and kept it till the end.

Rally enjoyed this sexy, fun and action packed journey filled with engaging and exciting charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and emotionally thrilling passion. Was a great read from beginning to end and so hard to put down.
Aww, this was a realistic approach to romance because falling in love is filled with passion, wonder and angst as well as insecurity and uncertainty. For those of us who are “normal,” love is just plain messy!
For Cy Hammond, life is complicated, filled with highs and lows. His struggle to keep moving forward is difficult. (For those of us who struggle with mental health issues, Cy is our poster boy.)
Patsy Foxhill seems to have it all: a good job, self-confidence and friends. But below the surface is an uncertain girl who is juggling too many balls, waiting for the day when everything comes crashing down. She is skittish about relationships because she has been burned badly.
Yet when Cy and Patsy meet, there is an instant attraction. This book is the story of 2 flawed people who want to be loved but afraid to take the plunge. In short, there lives are messy! This is not an insta-love romance. Instead it builds over time. Cracks begin to appear in their facades as circumstances change. This author does not shy away from real life issues. Instead she spotlights these flaws, showing the readers that: 1) people make mistakes; 2) forgiveness is an essential part in a relationship; and 3) medications are sometimes necessary to one’s mental health.
A wonderful, emotional romance with a beautiful HEA message!

Her Cowboy Billionaire Beast: Hammond Brothers is book 4 in the Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge series by Liz Isaacson. Does another Hammond brother find love in Coral Canyon?
Up next is Cy and Patsy’s story. When Cy loses his lease on his building in California he decides its time to come back to Coral Canyon where most of his family lives but when his anxiety and depression kick in its harder to go to the open road on his motorcycle.
Patsy is the manager of Whiskey Mountain Lodge and the attraction is instantaneous between her and Cy but she has her own issues.
Will these two be able to work thru their issues to find their HEA or will they just be to much?
I enjoyed this cowboy book by Liz Issacsson and could not put it down. Great story of 2nd chances in life in love and doing what’s in your heart and passion. Family and friends are everything.

Great characters that are relatable and just as lovable. A story line that pulls you in from the beginning, holds your attention til the end and is an enjoyable read. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone but you may spend some time trying to figure out who’s who with some of the characters if you haven’t read the previous books in the series.

Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge just keeps getting better! Cy and Patsy’s story begins when Cy asks Patsy out during the annual Christmas Eve celebration—over the intercom—accidently! Their love story has some rocky patches. Patsy wants to save her family legacy. Cy deals with anxiety and panic attacks. These characters are not perfect, they have flaws, and Liz Isaacson weaves a great love story that deals with these problems. I love the way that the characters in this series are more mature (older) and that they always turn to God to find their answers. Don’t miss this clean, inspiring romance from Liz Isaacson!
Cy and Patsy both have issues that cause them to be hesitant to take a chance on love. There is instant attraction but so much more. Loved how his family were there for him – anxiety and depression are felt and handled differently by different people. She was one tough cookie. There was a grand gesture(s) IMO at the end that just made the story for me. Love at Whiskey Mountain Lodge!!! Looking forward to book 5.
Cy Hammond owns a motor cycles shop and Patsy organizes things at Whiskey Mountain lodge. What a great story. I could not put it down. It is great that the families truly care for each other so much that they pray for them and ask the Lord for help.
I really enjoyed reading this book, but I struggled some in the beginning. This is the first book in this series for me, and I spent the first few chapters trying to figure out who’s who in the cast of characters. Once that happened, it was easy reading from then on. Cy and Patsy, as different as they are, have a few things in common – both of them feel like outsiders in their families. They both feel broken… Cy, because of his illness, can be a beast at times. And Patsy, because of her past in choosing loser boyfriends, has some self-esteem issues. And they’re both hardheaded. His mental illness – depression and anxiety – and road to recovery are handled in a sensitive and compassionate manner. One of the things I like most about Patsy is her complete acceptance of Cy’s illness once he’s honest with her. And in the end, faith and love conquer all.

Cy and Patsy are two people, who think that they do not really fit into their family, they are not fully accepted, although it is not true for either..
Although the attraction for each other is strong, there is the underlying issue with their family, and a deep depression Cy is fighting.
From their first date to finally come together as an engaged couple – it is a difficult, but interesting road.
The story is a little unusual and a little deeper than many of the others, as we see a man struggle with his depression and finally reaching out for help.
A good story, well-written and entertaining.

I always enjoy Liz Isaacson books. I know they are going to have an engaging story line, interesting characters, humor, romance, family and possible lack of sleep. This book is no exception. Cy and Patsy are true opposites who have an attraction to each other. I love that Cy isn’t this perfect person, but a real one with anger issues and loss of control. This is a very compelling book.
Billionaire Cy is reinventing his life. He moves his motorcycle shop where his brothers live. He has lifelong mental illness issues that can have him acting like a “beast” when he loses control. He is so self conscious about his disorder that he doesn’t share so others can understand what he is experiencing. Patsy excels at her job at the lodge but her heart is with the family apple orchard being mismanaged by her sister. Can two people going in different directions work? I commend Liz for addressing mental illnesses and going through the process of successful treatment options available. It’s not something to be ashamed of. Well written!

Cy can turn into a beast when he is angry. But he is also a good man with a big heart who loves and listens to God’s leading. What will it take to change the beast into the prince he truly is?
I loved this couple with all their very human faults and the lasting and forgiving love they have for each other.
