The fourth book in the Christmas at Whiskey Mountain Lodge series a well written story with a very good storyline, I was not putting this book down until I finished it. Cowboy billionaire Cy Hammond moves to Coral Canyon, but he has a lot from his past that he has to let go of, and is not the nicest person to know. He has some big problems to overcome. He meets Patsy Foxhill and they do not get off to a great start. I enjoyed seeing this story come together, Cy’s problems were handled with care. I loved this romance! I don’t know what I’m going to do when all the Hammond brothers are married off! It’s goin to be a sad day, these stories are exceptional. I loved the anxiety/depression bent of this Novel and how skillfully things were woven around it. Again, I adored seeing the characters’ perspectives from the next book and loved even more seeing the characters’ perspectives from the previous books.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I’m really enjoying this series and this book was so good. It captivated me from the beginning, made me laugh, brought tears to my eyes and left me with a smile. I anxiously await the next book.
Cy made my heart hurt. He’s dealing with so much and his brain and body chemistry are making things even more difficult for him. I love the way this book shows Cy’s struggle as a mirror to that of so many other people. Patsy has a heap of her own baggage to deal with, making this an unlikely pairing. But, what they learn from each other is how to be strong, how to be better people, how to take those first steps toward achieving their heart’s desires. One of the things I appreciate so much about this story is that it shows love and faith as important components of healing along with dedicated professional assistance; that none of these things would work as effectively alone. I’ve only just finished this book, but already I’m anxious to read about the remaining single Hammond brother.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
WOW talk about using the intercom at a bad moment in time – and how the story for Cy and Patsy move around and down the bumpy road to their final HEA!!
More great writing and revisiting with characters from previous books!! Loved it! On to the next saga!

I like that the characters in this book have real life problems. I really felt for Cy and was glad to see him reach out for professional help as well as turning to his faith.
Patsy’s relationship with her family was sad. I never was really sure what Betsy’s issue was with Patsy or the orchard. Was it jealousy, control, or something else? It wasn’t completely clear to me, and seemed to resolve itself more behind the scenes then out in the open. The relationship seemed to be suddenly better.
With Cy working to resolve his issues and Patsy turning to her faith and her friends for help with hers, they were able to fully express their feelings.
A positive, uplifting story full of love, faith, and the support of friends and family. Also included was being able to revisit and get updates on characters from previous books.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received from the author.
This book is a romance with Cy and Patsy but it took a while for them to get there. He suffers from anxiety and she has had bad luck with her previous boyfriends. I appreciate how the author handled the subject of depression and how treatment can be successful in helping the patient live a healthy normal life.
A sweet and clean romance about how love and faith can help Cy overcome his ansiety and panic attacks and Patsy sttruggles with her family and they will help each other find happiness together
I totally enjoyed this book that was so well written with characters that were so wonderfully created that as I turned each and every page I felt like Cy and Patsy pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
Cy moves his business to Coral canyon to be closer to his family. He knows he needs professional help but continues to put off getting help. Patsy has hang-ups from previous relationships and projects those on to Cy. I enjoyed Cy’s story, his relationship with Ames, and the closeness of their family.
I had an Advance Readers Copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed this latest book by Liz Isaacson. I liked the way she incorporated common problems to be overcome by the main characters, and the way she weaves characters from the other books in the series into the plot. She also uses faith as the basis for helping to overcome their problems.
Love this series. They are about the Hammond brothers finding wives. Cy Hammond met Patsy Foxhill at Wiskey Mountain Lodge a year ago at his brother’s wedding .He bought part of her family farm and is opening à motor cycle shop who cater’s to veterans. He is moving there from California and building a house. He broke up with his girlfriend before coming to the wedding and has asked Patsy out. All the brothers are billionaires and don’t think nothing about buying what they won’t. I received and ARC of this book and highly recommend reading.
