Everything went wrong when I trimmed his bush. And no, it’s not what you’re thinking. I’m a professional. The client hired me to trim a bush in his garden for a party.I accidentally turned it into something that rhymes with “a big rock and walls”.Imagine my surprise when the art world decides it’s a masterpiece. Were my raging hormones the cause of my bush sculpting blunder? I mean, who would blame … sculpting blunder? I mean, who would blame me if they were? After meeting Harry Barnidge for the first time, my brain went straight to cavewoman mode. There were undignified fantasies of being bashed over the head and carried off to a cave, a significant loss of vocabulary, and maybe even a little drooling.
But I can’t focus on that. On him. I need this job to make my little sister’s dreams come true. Until now, I’ve managed to screw everything in my professional and personal life up, but I’m determined to make this work.
So when Mr. Heartstopper offers to help me manage my accidental art career, it’s impossible to say no.
It’s like the old saying goes. If you erect it, they will come. Or something like that.
Harry
I was done with relationships, until her. The new gardener took everything I knew and flipped it upside down. And once I saw her bush? Well, that was when I knew she was something special.
Women have tried a lot of things to get my attention, but Nell’s bush has to be the boldest method. I mean, there was the direct approach, and then there was turning a ten-foot bush into… that.
So of course, I asked her out. And when the biggest art critic in the country declared her bush a work of art, I offered to become her agent… even if my specialty was books.
Now I just have to convince her that I want more than our professional relationship. No matter the cost. Even when my biggest rival wants to steal her from under me and threatens to ruin me if I tell the truth about him.

Not sure on this story as it is different and is losing the thoughts this this series. It’s a amazing read and will have you love the process of this read.
Nell Scnell always felt she couldn’t do anything right, in fact most things were a disaster. Her room mate Danny gets her a job as a hedge trimmer/designer. Harry was planning a party for the writers he represents. Wanting everything perfect, he hires the gardeners to make his yard look amazing. He is immediately taken with the woman trimming the bushes one leaf at a time. When she attempt the large bush, well let’s just say it isn’t quite what she planned.
This is a fantastic laugh out loud romantic comedy with some hot, hot scenes. I have not laughed so much when reading a book for quite a while. Bloom is beyond creative in the situations the amazing characters are put through, but what she was brilliant at was the dialogue. It is witty, fun, playful, sexy and romantic. On top of everything else it is a love story. WOW! If you are in the mood for a romantic comedy, you would be hard pressed to find a better one.
Gut-busting, belly laughing, rib-tickling – and HOT!
Are love stories supposed to make you teary-eyed? FROM LAUGHTER? Penelope Bloom’s latest entry in her Objects of Attraction series is the perfect distillation of her unique point of view. Her characters are the most wonderful oddballs. Outwardly adults, yet endearingly clueless, refreshingly uncensored, and as willing to follow their hearts straight into love as kids are to follow the ice cream truck. Of course, each is sweetly screwball in his/her own way, so even though beloved actors from previous books make cameos and play bit parts, Nell and Harry shine as the stars of Her Bush. the They are perfect foils for each other’s double-entendres and secret romantic dreams. HEA guaranteed, along with giggles, guffaws, and “Awws”
Thanks, Booksprout, for the ARC and the good time. My ribs are still sore from laughing. (I recommend an ibuprofen chaser along with this one. Totally worth it.)
Poor Nell, the bad decisions she has made have caught up to her. She has alienated herself from her family and friends, all but one that is. She has more “first days of the rest of her life’s” than she cares to admit to. Her only friend and roommate has helped her get this job. She has no clue what she is doing, that is no choice now. She is relying on this job.
Brooding Harry, all the money and success in his career he has, and yet he hides away from the rest of the world because he is tired of being used. He knows things are good for him, but the feeling of envy to see his brother and friends with someone special in their lives is growing.
He has hired the landscapers to help him ready his massive yard for a work party. He watches for a while, when he notices one new person on the team. Bright orange hair draws Harry’s attention and he is curious. Once he is face to face with the bright orange hair, he is more than curious, he is drawn in.
Nell has a smarmy, snarky, or movie related comeback for just about everything. So, imagine when this guy is questioning her about her work. Now he has challenged her to something she tried extremely hard to do. Hours later, there is a little bit different look to the landscape than was agreed on.
This mistake actually draws Nell and Harry closer to one another. It also has a line being drawn and a line being crossed. Once they open up to share the secrets behind the reason hearts are closed off, there is no stopping the dynamic duo. A confrontation, an announcement, the scare of losing everything leads to a surprise triumph. The triumph helps lend the surprise win in another situation as well. That situation does end with a very happy ending!
This is an amazing story with Nell and Harry, and is this author at her absolute best. This is a well written flawless story which is fun, entertaining, humorous, heartfelt and sweet, which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend this rom-com for all readers who enjoy many laugh-out-loud moments.

Ms. Bloom, Ms. Bloom, Ms. Bloom you did it again. I don’t know how you come up with these crazy and wacky characters in these wonderfully brilliant scenarios. This one is full of past characters you will love to remember and a bunch of new ones.
Nell is a “think so hard about something it hurts” type of girl. She is always putting her foot in her mouth. It’s her first day as a gardener when she gets sent to a millionaire’s home to touch-up the gardens and get them ready for a special party. The owner happens to see her focus on cutting bushes (aka slowly cutting one lead at a time). He decides to talk to her about this “dedication”. So when she says she can trim hedges (let’s be honest, all it says in the book is bush and bushes until you want to blush with all the innuendos), she takes the artistic approach to it when asked to sculpt a penguin making a snowman. She trims what looks like a giant phallic- shaped bush and balls.
Harry is rich, jaded, and now the new owner of a penis-shaped bush
Suddenly he finds himself quite taken with it’s creator. He loves her fresh spirit and how real she is. Between the two of them, you will be laughing out loud. If the bush innuendos don’t get you, Nell’s foot-in-mouth disease certainty will. It is a wonderful addition to Ms. Bloom’s other volumes within this setting where previous characters tend to cause mayhem. You’ll love this one too.

Puns galore, with vivid pictures running rampant through my mind,(Which ones? Would you like to know? No, probably not)
The sixth book in the Objections Of Attraction books had my imagination running wild with possibilities for future landscape designs.. to the chagrin of my Foreman Landscaping hubby! (hehe)
An awkwardly, sweet, fun, hearts, flowers, and blooming bushes kind of read with an underlying sensual tension and chemistry for days kind of feel. The mix of humorous, heartfelt, and everything in between that goes on between Nell Snell ( the name alone.. poor girl ) and Harry a would have been enough to keep my eyes glued to the pages. Penelope Bloom went and added in William and Grammy (MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS EVER!!) along with Hailey, Peter, and Violet to keep our main characters on the right path and created a solid gold storyline I did not want to put down!
Phew!
I have had so much F.U.N reading these stories! I cannot wait to see what the future brings for Ms. Bloom!
If you have not read any of the Object Of Attraction Books, enjoy Hilarasly sexy outside the box pun-filled shenanigans I HIGHLY recommend #oneclicking on any of the 1-6 standalones!
First know when you read this book, there will definitely be a lot of laughing. This book was awesome and I hope Penelope Bloom never stops writing like this. I couldn’t put the book down. Every character in this book deserves some type of award. Grammy is in it again and OMG this woman is something else along with the entire family. William, Peter and Davey are over the top. Of course, this is a romantic comedy that deserves it series and like those on TV with years invested in them – this should be no different unless of course they all die, which I hope that never happens.
Just briefly this story is about Harry and Nell. Nell is young woman trying to find her passion and is working with her BFF Davey in landscaping or better yet bush sculpting. Well her first major job is at millionaires’ home to sculpt a bush for a party and is instructed to create a penguin building a snowman. She fails at it by creating something more interesting that gets an invitation to the party to explain her motivation and the story takes off from that. Harry is the millionaire that hired the company for the sculpting and falls for Nell, the banter between both is hilarious as they are both sarcastic in their own way but bring in the clan and you have yourself an award-winning book! Although this is a standalone book in this series, you will want to get the others to get yourself acquaint with the other characters.

Nell is a wandering soul. Not sure where or what she wants to do with her life, knowing only that she needed to make money to help pay for her little sisters Julliard education. That is the only reason she can think of that would put her in a smelly van, full of smelly men, before dawn going to landscape some bushes that oh ps she had never done before. Meeting the hunky homeowner does improve her mood just a little bit.
Harry has had his fair share of bad relationship, so much so that he has sworn off dating for the foreseeable future. Why then does he find himself so drawn toward the woman with fire orange hair standing in his garden literally pruning one leaf at a time? He has to see this up close.
Nell and Harry have a real world meet cute and quickly determine they are attracted to each other more than they should be after just meeting. After trimming the bush to his requirements turns into slightly more than they bargained for, they have big decisions to make, together.
Following along in the Object series I liked Her Bush for the real world feel of Nell and Harry’s relationship. It isn’t always sweet and smooth sailing, life is messy and clumsy and bumpy. I did feel like previous characters were throw in randomly to better connect the series (even though stand-alone reads) but I enjoyed catching up with past characters. 4 ½ stars for this book I voluntarily read and reviewed.
Her Bush by Penelope Bloom was a sweet and hilariously funny read.
I liked Nell very much. I loved her being a weirdo – starting with a first name+surname combo which kind of predestined and also cemented her oddball status, courtesy of her parents, following suit with such a sarcastic inner voice it made me laugh out loud numerous times while reading.
Harry too was such a great character, true book boyfriend material. I loved him not being judgemental and prejudiced. He was literally a nice person.
I loved the witty banter between these two, the dialogues and narration put a smile on my face on a gloomy Monday.
Lovely entertainment.

Penelope Bloom is my go to author when i want a great rom-com. Her Bush is the latest in her Objects of Attraction series and did not disappoint. Loved Nell and Harry and we see characters from the previous books, great supporting cast. Hilarious, romantic and just plain entertaining. Highly recommend this and the others in the series. Cant wait for more!
Excellent characters in the art world
I loved the female character of Nell from the first lines: she changes trades and finding nothing that suits her, she decides to cut bushes because she needs money, although her art teacher in high school thought that no artistic fiber did exist in the genes of her family !!!! She is completely unpredictable, aware of a difference, without being aware of how she is perceived. However thanks to her bush, a penguin and its snowman (at least in her vision because let’s be clear, the rest of the world sees another thing that is erected), it opens the doors of art galleries to her.
This bush is in the garden of Harry who is a literary agent and is drawn away, without really understanding why, by this orange-haired character (because she missed her dye) and by her offbeat work, while he knows she missed what she wanted to do.
Two characters who are found, understand each other. He likes her unfiltered version, her twisted questions, her way of thinking beyond the things we see. And she quickly understands that his character is only an appearance for his work and that he does not categorize her as an idiot that he would try to push away. He won’t hold her back or to criticize her.
In parallel, I really liked the good questioning on the interest of the analysis of the art, the depth that there is or not in the work, the manipulations of the artists, the agents, the hypocrisy or sometimes the ridiculousness of this little world. What is valuable, why?
It was a very good romance during which I laughed a lot.

This book had me laughing out loud, the silly thoughts that Nell would have, she is a sweet fun loving clutzy woman, I really liked Harry. The puns and cliches were humorous.
At parts it felt like the story was dragging but overall was a fun story.
what a great, funny book. I laughed really hard at these two characters. they were just made for each other and that made me read the book with a smile and a tear. mine therefore 5 stars .. in a word fantastic.

Author Bloom is in fine form in the book! The sexual innuendos and double entendres are on point. The characters are quirky, funny, socially awkward, and broken. William does steal the scenes he is written in, but that just proves what a mischievous lovable character he is. Highly recommend.

Oh my another brilliant book by Ms Bloom.
I’ve loved this series and each one seems to be an hilarity of its own.
Oh Nell..what can I say. She was absolutely hilarious with her sayings and questions and I’m so glad she got it together with Harry. She so deserved someone like him.
Every one of these books has cracked me up and they are so lighthearted, funfilled and steamy they are a pleasure to read.
Her Bush is set within Ms. Bloom’s Objects of Attraction series and even though you see familiar characters from previous books, this book could stand alone. Nell has no idea how to be a garden sculptor, but when the opportunity presents itself, she creates a giant inappropriate bush. It catches the attention of the art world and Nell’s world completely shifts. Harry is completely drawn to Nell and all of her honest craziness, but when Nell catches the eye of his enemy, he’ll do anything to keep her safe. But will Harry be able to catch Nell’s heart?
This book was just completely fabulous. I was laughing out loud, I felt the very real connection between Nell and Harry, and just totally lost myself within the pages of this book! I loved Nell and wish I knew her in real life. She’s honest, she’s caring, she’s completely out of her league and element more often than not, but I loved her positive attitude she constantly had and her humor. Harry was pretty cool, too. I liked how he had a lot of interests, was good at his job, honest with his clients, and I loved how he acted around Nell. They made me giggle, I loved their connection and attraction, and I loved how they complimented each other. I loved seeing old characters from previous books – I think one of my favorite aspects of this entire series is that these situations could happen to anyone. The humor doesn’t feel forced, the romance is sweet and authentic with the perfect amount of steamy connections. There’s joy, pain, anger, all of those real emotions within these pages, and it’s all about finding that perfect person you can just be yourself with!
What a wonderful, humorous romantic comedy & it was an absolute pleasure to read. I must admit there were a few close shaves with my laptop & a mouthful of tea spewing out while trying so hard to swallow my laughter. There are some character crossovers but this book is complete & standalone. The chemistry between the two main characters (Nell, who has embarked on another career as a bush trimmer/sculpture) & (Harry, a rich literary agent who has sworn off women due to past disappointments) is excellent, they react with believable & realistic emotional feelings to the situations they find themselves in. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written, it keeps the reader’s attention.
There is: some twists, drama, humor, secrets, embarrassment, sexual tension, naturally a villain, jealousy, frustration, confusion, verbal banter, some conflict & an entertaining epilogue. I would recommend this romance (& the series)
I absolutely have loved this series and this is my second favorite one. Nell is an adorably awkward heroine who has been burned by a past relationship. Harry is a successful literary agent who meets has sworn off women. Their banter is witty and their chemistry is undeniable. Its a perfect addition to an already fun and sexy series.
Sweet, steamy, AND hilarious!!
I suspect my neighbors think I’m crazy after hearing the laughter from my otherwise silent apartment. Penelope nails the funny! And the sweet and the steamy! I loved Harry and Nell! And we got to see all our favorite kooky characters again! Love, love, loved!!! I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
