Easy Reading summer romance!
fun read
Loved it
This book held my interest from beginning to end. I loved the characters. I have an interest in the West and enjoy books that are written about western towns, cowboys and countryside. It makes you feel like you were right there.
Easy to read and relaxing – quick read.
This book has everything I want in a story. It has cowboys, a little boy, and romance. But that’s not all. It is written beautifully so that you are pulled into the story, wanting the best for everyone.
Zane Nash runs a successful ranch but his personal life is not very good. After his mother abandoned him as a child, living with a father who was nasty and his girlfriend running off with his brother, he won’t let anyone into his life. Who can blame him for being closed off? That attitude works fine for him until he suddenly gets custody of his 5-year-old nephew, Finn. After losing his parents, Finn is withdrawn and doesn’t talk much. Zane isn’t much of a talker either so he can’t help Finn in that area.
Trinity Redfern is running a children’s summer program on bugs. Finn likes the program and really likes Trinity. So does Zane. Being a speech therapist, Trinity worked on Finn’s speech while running the camp. Noticing the difference Trinity has made in Finn, Zane hires her to work with Finn for the rest of the summer. Staying at the ranch gives her constant interaction with Finn – and Zane. She made huge advances in helping Finn to verbalize his thoughts. Trinity even got Zane talking more and accepting his feelings. Wait until you see the wonderful romance between Zane and Trinity. It’s hard for each of them to accept the relationship and be open with the other but they find that it is worth the struggle of getting over their painful pasts.
I recommend this to anyone who likes sweet romances.
It was a good family story.
