Six years ago, Lucy Duncan and Jenson Phillips shared a moment on the beach. For years she had a crush on him, but hid it behind a mask of hating him, then… nothing. Now, they’re about to go on a three-thousand mile road trip together to his sister’s, Lucy’s best friend, wedding; the sister who knows nothing about their ‘history’.If Lucy’s boyfriend Matthew had been able to make the trip with … trip with her, she wouldn’t have had to put up with Jenson’s arrogance and secretive phone calls. If Matthew didn’t always put his career before Lucy herself, then maybe she wouldn’t be reliving that one night with astounding clarity while being trapped in an old car with Jenson, the one guy she’d never truly forgotten.
Her Best Friend’s Brother is a second chance romance that will leave you wanting more.

Road trip stories are a favourite of mine, so I was excited to read this. I wasn’t disappointed. MB Feeney’s compelling characters and story-telling ability kept me turn pages well after my bedtime.
I loved this second chance novel by M.B. Feeney,it was a total JOY to read.
Lucy and Jensen’s story had me captivated from the start,I Loved their chemistry which was electric,I loved their banter and playfulness and I loved the emotion.
I really enjoy reading road trip books and this one between Lucy and Jensen was so much fun, they have history which left a heartbroken Lucy and Jensen as the enemy.
So a road trip to go to her best friends wedding with the enemy does not sound like a very good idea, except the feelings from the past are still there and the attraction probably stronger. So could this trip actually resolve the past and build a future or will it be a complete nightmare.
This is a fantastic book, perfectly written and extremely entertaining from M.B. Feeney and I highly recommend it.
Just Wonderful.
Unrequited love stories make the best kind, and this latest offering from Feeney doesn’t disappoint. Filled with laughter, tears, and some moments that’ll have you fanning yourself, just do yourself a favor, and curl up with a cuppa and this book. You won’t be sorry.
This is the first book I’ve read by M.B. Feeney and I’m so glad that I gave her work a chance. I read this story in one sitting and loved how the storyline developed as Lucy and Jenson travel to the wedding. There were some moments that had me chuckling and others that had me hoping this couple wouldn’t let others get in the way of their feelings for each other. Her Best Friend’s Brother is a book that you can lose yourself in and it would be perfect to read on the beach, snuggled up on the couch or relaxing in bed – in fact, anywhere would be perfect as you’ll soon forget about life around you when you join Lucy and Jenson on their journey. This story is a recommended read!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book
What a fun, sexy 2nd chance/enemies to lovers romance. I love the characters and their banter. The author has defined the storyline and the characters so well that I felt like I was right there with them on their trip across the country. I loved her witty, sexy way with words – I read the book through in one setting as I just had to know what was going to happen next with this fun couple.
The story has it all…. It’s funny, sexy, heartwarming and heartbreaking. The plot is very realistic as it deals with things I am quite sure people have gone through. I know I have experienced several of the things that go on in this book. But the dialog between Lucy and Jenson keep me laughing, hurting as the drove together on a long trip across country heading to Lucy’s best friend’s wedding (the bride also happens to be Jenson’s sister). These two have a past 6 years ago during their high school years. The past left Lucy heartbroke and hating Jenson. But during the 6 year gap, both have gone on and made a life for themselves. But is it the life they are meant to lead?
2 Thumbs UP and 5 Stars – I highly recommend Her Best Friends Brother. It’s an easy, fun, enjoyable read that I highly recommend reading – you won’t be sorry you did.
