Not too realistic, but fun to read.
I ENJOYED THIS BOOK.
Poor nurse is betrayed by a guy who wanted to keep her as a mistress after his marriage to a socialite. She starts a new life and discovers she is pregnant. Her landlord is a nice guy who helps her. They fall in love but when the ex finds out about the baby things begin to fall apart. Things work out for them in the end.
Understanding her position. She was overly cautious. He was to slow to make up his mind.
A nice little read!
Good book like a life like kind of story
Strong male lead character yet very compassionate….great book
I picked up this book because I loved the cover. Lots of us have done that right? While I enjoyed the book for the most part, there were times in the book if I could have gone into the book and shaken the main character Taylor, I would have.
Let me tell you a tad bit about it what I Taylor moves away to a new town to start fresh after yet another bad relationship breakup. AND I do mean a BAD relationship breakup. The little town she decides to move to is called Charity, Montana. One of the reason is decided to read this book is it is based in Montana and i love Montana based books. One of the first guys she sees is this hunk of a guy at the nursery and she found out his name is Joe. She later discovers that many of the men the town have been in prison … see where I am going with this.
This book is definitely a book well worth reading as it was good. It was just one of those books that could have been very interactive had it been a real life situation LOL. Taylor was a bit whiney but hey real life can be that way right and Joe, I will say I have met men who have converted who are exactly like this man. So I believe ever word written can be true. It was just a bit long for me and i was ready to strangle Taylor after a while. BUT in the long run well read the book and see if it was worth it.
Easy read with a great ending. Very believable characters.
Taylor felt she needed a fresh start. Her life changed much more drastically than she anticipated.
A great romance to curl up with in front of the fireplace
Sweet
THE story was sweet. I would have liked to have seen more development of the relationship and a different kind of confrontation with the bad guy in this one. Some elements felt kind of loose.
I enjoyed reading this book because the story line and development was not
love them, leave them, love them.
I feel like it took way too long for me to finish this book. There was something about Taylor’s closed minded thinking that just prevented me from connecting with her at first. The storyline just sort of seemed to drag from then on and finishing became more of a chore than actual enjoyment.
I liked it. Believable
Started, couldn’t finish. The author was introducing too many characters at once. Also I’m not into the heavy religious / Christian romance genre. Someone else may like this, it wasn’t for me
This was sooo good! I’d read it all over again!
Very predictable. Nothing new or exciting here
This is a sweet story but moved slowly. I love the non-judgmental aspect of acceptance, everyone has faults, we can become better by acknowledging our own shortcomings? I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
