He’s trouble. He’s dangerous. He’s hunted. And now he’s got me, he won’t let go. I’m not in space to meet a man. The crew of the Ladies’ Choice left Earth to work without distractions, so we have a rule: no men on board. That rule went out of the airlock when I found Delkor. An alien cyborg, locked in stasis for decades since the Big War. Leader of the rebels who took down an Empire. A … the rebels who took down an Empire. A smoking-hot alien alpha with a robot arm and a voice that melts me every time he speaks.
But he’s as valuable as he is dangerous. The local gang bosses are powerful and will do whatever it takes to control Delkor, putting me and my crew in danger as long as he’s with us.
Maybe walking away would be the smart thing to do, but I don’t have that option. Delkor wants me as much as I want him, and what he wants, he takes.
Her Alien Alpha is book one of the Salvaged Hearts Series. Each book is a complete science fiction romance story with no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a happy ending guaranteed.

I liked the characters and the way the story unfolded without being too predictable. It’s a good start to a news series, and I’m ready for the next one.
I liked this book very much. There was constant action, there was romance, the story was solid, the characters were interesting and, to be honest, I found it more original and distinct than other books of this genre. I will definitely read the rest of the series!

A cool story, easy to get lost in! I loved so many things about this book. It’s the start of a cool new sci-fi series. The characters are complete and feel real. The story itself is super interesting, I had trouble putting it down. The all-girl crew shows the strength of women as independent heroines, which is the coolest part of the book. There’s a lot of action, the bad guys are creepy and abundant, but they persevere and don’t need a man to save them, Rock on Juno Well, this book is fantastic!
There was just a lot I really liked about this book. It’s almost a world where the entire universe is in a dystopian state. Despite the advanced technological state of most planets, there is a known planet where the location is unknown, and the facts of the relatively recent history is vague and largely unknown. This sets up a great mystery that keeps the reader at close attention. While we don’t get a close view at these differing cultures the ladies interact with during this book, it is clear there is a proper wealth of cultural difference that would exist in such a vast universe; and it certainly sets up more promise for later installments.
Delkor is a great character; he’s the alpha male who is well trained in violence, but he’s intelligent and properly reflective and observant. He’s willing to consider alternatives and treats Carrie and her crew with respect and as equals. He observes them and recognizes their talents, even though they differ greatly from his typical worldview. He’s willing to give them a chance and doesn’t completely dismiss them as being less than he is, just different. Carrie is also open to Delkor as a person, once he shows he’s not going to kidnap and murder her or course 😉 She treats the whole absurd situation of being the fated mate of a long-cryo’d individual by considering her own feelings and Delkor’s behavior.

I enjoyed reading this book , it is entertaining and filled with action and intrigue. The interaction and chemistry between Carrie and Delkor is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
This is the first book of the series and what a great start I loved it, it had it all Hot Alien check, evil villains check, women working in a mans world check, working in space check, hot chemistry between Carrie and Delkor check, lust, love and fated mates check. I loved the whole story line and all the characters had there parts to play, Carrie is the captain of the Ladies Choice spaceship and her crew are all women Michaela, Alice, Bella, Lily, Jen but are friends as well and they know and trust each other wholeheartedly. Working on Nautilus station as salvagers or scavengers to some but when they come across a abandoned spacecraft the go to check it out and what Carrie finds in an escape pod will change her life forever and that of her crew. Delkor has been in statis for far to long because he is dreaming of his mate but doesn’t know what kind of alien she is but he can feel her near. What happens when Carrie opens the pod in front of a group of men trying to take it away from her. I’m giving away to much, just get this book you will enjoy it.
Carrie and her all female crew have left Earth to make their way collecting, scavenging whatever they can collect and sell. They bought a salvage contract and are setting up base on Nautilus Station to make their fortune. Of course, things are not going to go as well as they had hoped. But they did find a cat. They work hard, but they aren’t finding much which doesn’t help pay off their debt.
Delkor of the Caibar, pack-alpha and warrior for the Empire is in stasis when the women find his stasis chamber on the Vehn flagship adrift near a gas giant. When he wakes up, will he be friend or foe?
This was a tense, exciting book that had many realistic struggles of a captain being pulled between her crew and her lover. They had set out to be independent women eschewing men, but will that work out?
Captain Carrie Ferrow of the “Ladies’ Choice” was having a wonderful dream of a handsome alien who grabbed her and wrapped his tail around her. There was no fear, just desire for him. Then her comm bracelet buzzed and woke her. The ladies had a “no men on board” rule, and now, just 3 months into the journey and she regretted that rule when a dream had her drooling over a non-existent man. Their carrier ship was approaching their destination and soon they would arrive at Nautilus Station to start their new lives. Bella (engineer), Alice (language expert), and Michaela (security expert) joined her on the bridge. Lily (pilot) and Jen – the remaining crew members — ran in, late as usual. Before them was Nautilus Station above a flaming planet called Inferno, previously known as “Kilesh Vehn’d” before the civil war that set it on fire. For the next year, the Station was their home. Their salvage contract would show they were under Drall Syndicate’s protection and they hoped that was enough to keep them safe.
The gangs on Nautilus Station controlled the export of salvaged valuables, so making any real money meant working with one of them. They were loan sharks and would take most of their profits. But they had no choice.
Delkor, pack-alpha and a Caibar warrior for the Empire, woke in a tight dark space, unable to move anything at all, and not just because of the tight space. Nothing worked. He remembered he was in stasis but not why. His thoughts were fuzzy. Then he recalled he was not the Empire’s warrior but rather a rebel against the Empire. They had all been betrayed. Delkor is the alien cyborg leader of the rebels who took down the Empire, locked in stasis for decades since the Big War. And he thought of the mate he had not met yet but yearned for. She was smaller than a Caibar female, tailless, soft, with green eyes, red hair, and pale skin. Not at all like the Caibar. Then his eyes closed and he went back into stasis.
Michaela alerted Carrie that she saw something new on the scanners, but it was difficult to be certain with all the interference. Probably just another ghost in the sensors – but Carrie bet her $10 it was something more. And when they got to it, it was Vehn (Empire) warship tumbling end over end, hidden deep in the planet’s radiation bands. And unless it could still fly, it was too big for them to take back with them – this one was the Vehn Flagship Golden Duke Lyian! They boarded it and followed an active power source right to a fully intact and functioning escape pod! It might even contain one of their officers! Whoever was inside would have to be awakened so they could sell the valuable functioning pod and get out of debt completely! Were they in danger awakening the cyborg? Would the gangs try to steal their treasure – including the occupant of the pod? And would the odd feelings Carrie had when she looked at the handsome cyborg convince her she was his mate?
This was so good, and so much more is going on that I didn’t get to write! The characters are well-portrayed, the story line tense and intriguing. Grab your copy and enjoy every moment of excitement in this fantastic book!
Book one in the Salvaged Hearts a well written story that kept me turning pages. I want to read the next book. The crew of the Ladies’ Choice left Earth with a couple of rules and one of them was No Men on board. The free Delkor an alien cyborg from a stasis pod and Captain Carrie Ferrow ends up being his mate. The story has suspense, drama, danger, evil aliens, a abandon cat, a crew of Earth women who fight to stay together, and romance. Rule – No men on board. That worked well until Captain Carrie found Delkor. Poor Alien cyborg has been in stasis for decades. Nice smoking hot alien. He valuable, dangerous and powerful. The story was good, the characters even better and the story doesn’t end on a cliffhanger. Wonderful adventure. I can’t wait till the next book comes out. Enjoyable and entertaining read. Plenty of intrigue and action to keep you hook from beginning to end. I also liked the chemistry between Carrie and Delkor. This reads like a standalone, but I hope not this could be a great start for a new series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
This is a good sci-fi romance. It is action packed and exciting, full of suspense and passion. Good for a snowy afternoon.

This sci-fi romance was cleanly written and well edited, with no typos that I could discern. The world building was vibrant and exciting, the characterization of the hero and heroine was competent, and the plot was action packed and exciting. I read this novel quickly in one sitting because I wanted to find out what would happen next. The salvage ecosystem, with the syndicates and the ruins of the Empire, was super interesting to read about. I loved how alpha the hero of this novel was. This novel uses the Fated Mates trope, which is one oof my favorite tropes. The angst in this novel was pretty low and the external stakes were really high, which is one of my preferred narrative structures for romance novels. The novel ending on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus if the author continues the pattern for the rest of the series. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy space opera romance. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
