Great read
Another great story from Caitlyn. I love a good suspense story, but hate what the girls go thru, but sadly slave trade is all to familiar in real life. Lots of action, bravery, lies, love and HEA.
A good read.
A enjoyable book
Caitlyn does it again! Her men are so easy to love!
Love those Navy SEALS!
Great read, cant wait to read the remaining books in the series!!
A quick easy read. Very interesting how things moved along so well.
Really enjoyed it
Admirable characters, inspires the reader to step up for what’s right.
I love her books and will be reading all of them.
I live reading about military romance
True depiction of the ends a Man of honor will go to protect those he cares for
This is hard for me lol. I love these types of books. I would have loved to see a reason for the love between the two main characters. I would like to have seen a little more of something to bring them close together.
great read. jack is an alpha male
love all caitlyn oleary books
quick reads. alot going on
and great characters
Loved the book, I couldn’t put it down.
I loved the first book in this series, and have read a couple of the other ones, but this one, despite a nice, thoughtful, handsome, hot H, just isn’t grabbing me. I don’t get his love for the h, it seems to come out of nowhere, with no basis, and her and her sister’s continual failures to communicate clearly were irritating. Also, the H, nice as he is, seemed pretty pushy on the sex/making out, given the h’s past. Mostly I found her annoying.
I find this author so easy to read, the story flows, the plot thickens and the characters are real.
This is mainly about Beth and her family and Jack the military SEAL and his team. There is plenty of suspenseful drama in this story along with a sweet romance in the making. Beth comes with emotional baggage from her past (her fear of men) and Jack is a gentle yet tough giant. Together they gently sizzle before there is finally a fiery combustion, yes I loved their chemistry. There is plenty of action and drama throughout the story and you will be hooked. I couldn’t wait to see how it panned out as I wanted my HEA.
I will certainly be looking for more of this series.
Jack’s family ranch is the perfect hiding place for Beth, who is on the run from a psychopath. As an elite Navy SEAL, Jack has the skills necessary to keep her safe as long as necessary. But does he have the skills to help her overcome the abuse she has endured?
To say Beth doesn’t trust men is an understatement. Not only does she believe she can never be comfortable in a romantic relationship, she also believes she doesn’t deserve one. Protecting her isn’t enough; Jack also has to patiently show her what she means to him and convince her to have faith in their future. His mom is a terrific help in this, having survived a similar situation many years before.
I loved how the issues that Beth is facing were addressed honestly and directly, with plenty of compassion but not a lot of sugar-coating. The strength she develops from her healing serves her well in the latter half of the book, when she has to take on a murderous gang and a human trafficking ring and find a way to survive until she’s rescued.
Jack’s patient devotion to Beth was very sweet and tender, and his determination to find and rescue her had me cheering as he stormed through Mexico hot on her trail. The climactic ending with Berto was especially victorious and cathartic. The entire book was a wonderful, emotionally-charged adventure and I loved every bit of it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
