If anyone’s looking for a YA adventure with a strong heroine, I recommend this series! (Disclaimer: No children died for adult entertainment, or of a broken heart over a guy dumping them, in the making of this series. But, there is magic. And dragons.)

Henrietta must go on one final quest to find Emerald Dragon of del Oro healing stone to save her mentor & old master Chen.
A journey that entails magic with well detailed settings & an intriguing plot. Henrietta’s character is snarky, sarcastic, feisty & savvy. With a good mix of supporting character’s that add to the story. A adventurerous fantasy tale with dragons, knights, warriors & a mystery to solve. An overall engaging read that I am looking forward to reading book two in Henrietta’s journey. I volunteerly reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.
A fantasy book that brims with delightful characters, action and mystery. The author is a pro at characterization and you will absolutely fall in love with the protagonist. A wonderful tale that begins a series. Once the last page is turned, the reader will be anxious to start the next one in the series! This is a first rate fantasy read snd not to be missed!!
I really enjoyed the first book in this new series. It is a classic fantasy with a young heroine on a quest. This heroine, Henrietta, is a little different from the standard coming-of-age heroine though as she has already accomplished more in her young life than most people. Henri is a warrior and a dragon slayer and now begins a quest that is personal to her – to save her dying mentor. The small group of traveling companions (that she did NOT want with her) are great characters as well and the interactions between the four of them are wonderful. I think Jaxter the jester is my favorite of them all! There is adventure, excitement and intrigue throughout the story, and I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series. The editing on this book was pretty good compared to most nowadays with some omitted words here and there. Overall, this was a well-written, very clean story with very little violence that I highly recommend to fantasy readers pre-teen and up.
I am voluntarily leaving an honest review after reading a free advanced copy of this book.

A thrilling adventure that focuses on Henrietta and her new friends involving a quest – to kill the dragon or die trying.
I really enjoyed this book. Such a good imaginary world that I was able to place myself in it right from the start – loved reading about Henrietta’s quest, her struggles and her fears.
Full of dragons, a dragon slayer, quests, magics, friendship, action and adventure.
Perfect for readers of fantasy romance.
