“I want to do so many things to you, but tonight let me just taste that wildness buried in your soul.”Cora wasn’t looking for love and she certainly wasn’t looking for Luc. Clever, devilishly handsome, and with dark eyes filled with wicked promises, his magnetism leaves her breathless. She can’t get him out of her thoughts no matter how much good sense tells her she should walk away.Luc’s been … away.
Luc’s been looking for Cora. For longer than she could even imagine. Now that he’s found her, he’s not letting her go without a fight. Unfortunately someone with far more sadistic designs has found her, too, and is willing to start that fight.
Cora soon discovers that Luc is much more than he appears and that their bond transcends distance, space, and even death. She’s drawn into his world of gods, demons, and a struggle for power where the fate of it all rests squarely on her shoulders.
Steamy, sensual, and suspenseful this devilish romance is for mature audiences only.

The Devil in him
—>>> Drawn to the enigmatic Luc, Cora is slowly immersed into the world of demons, gods, pixies, oh yes, and a war, to name a few, as well as second chances at lives. Interesting world and storyline, with a female character who learns to wield hellfire and kick some butt in entertaining action, taking her place by Luc’s side once again.
This was a fun book to read had well developed characters with loads of chemistry between them and the storyline flowed smoothly.

ONE SCORCHING TREAT!!!
OMG! Talk about spinning out of control. A whirlwind of circumstances and mishaps that keep you flipping page after page. One rollercoaster ride with a swirling myriad of emotions bursting to life flawlessly. One sizzling storyline and delectable plot weave this bad boy together beautifully. The characters were realistic with personalities and depth that drew you in. Sparks fly as suspense and intrigue ensues in epic proportions. All the drama, action packed, heart pounding, hard hitting delight that force all the pieces together for one wild adventure. The scenes were so vividly detailed and descriptive that it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Remarkable job Viola, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

I loved the way the author mixed so many different lores together. While Lucifer is a popular subject to touch on, the way that the author approached his character and Cora’s was unique. While Cora didn’t have her memory, we slowly started to learn more about her and will perhaps be given the key to unlock the rest later on in the series.
Vividly written scenes spelled out a war in the underworld between Lucifer and his clan and an attack from another rival group of demons. This in itself I thought was an interesting twist because I was definitely expecting this to be a classic good vs evil battle. The author has a way of keeping her readers on their toes so suspecting what comes next is a constant rollercoaster.
Hell’s Mistress by Viola Calvary. Love the cover art for this book- it really helps paint the vivid story inside. I read the blurb and really wanted to love this story but honestly, I had a really hard time getting into it. It felt like the storyline bounced around a lot without a lot of depth or insight as to what was happening or why (until the end). I found myself wondering what was happening more with side characters instead of main characters. Book just wasn’t for me.

This story started off with such a bang and had all the makings of a story that would draw me in and keep me enthralled but then it just stalled and seem to drag in the middle luckily it did start to get moving again and the end lived up to my expectations
There is plenty of lore and mythology about hell and demons dragged into the storyline and Corra and Luc had their moments together but I just didn’t feel that bond between them
This was an entertaining and steamy story about reincarnated love, betrayal, friendship, trust, etc. Some of the mythology was new to me, but some was based on more mainstream ideas about hell.

I was super excited to read this story as I had just finished Book 2 in this author’s Dark Desire series that I thoroughly enjoyed. Very strong female lead and the supporting cast was multifaceted so with a name like “Hells Mistress” my expectations were pretty high for this story.
Cora started off as a very confident kick butt and take names kind of a woman, which I was pretty happy about. Luc came across as equally confident a bit arrogant with a healthy dose of rogue thrown in and I thought perfect pairing. This go round it seemed like the author was going to give us both POV’s and not just the female leads POV which further increased my excitement.
Things got a massive jump-start and we went from a mundane world into a world filled with demons, magic and mayhem. Cora seemed to keep it together through this rather abbreviated introduction to discovering another realm and who Luc really was.
I figured after digesting all of this new found info she would have a mini melt down then armor up, stand by her man and get ready to smash some demons to pieces, instead she became almost prudish and just seemed to diminish and become robot like. Whereas her best friend who was also caught up in this descent into the underworld seemed to become everything I thought Cora would become. I will admit the middle of the book seemed to have lost its pacing and kind of drug on for me. I would skim the pages till I found more info on Elsie and the other secondary characters doing their thing.
Luc also physically seemed to be absent a good portion of the story as he went off on his own adventure plus we no longer got much from his POV either. There were times when I had to reread some parts of the story when things seemed to get convoluted.
Thankfully the story did pick up towards the end and Cora seemed to have gotten some of her strength back. Her crisis of confidence with having so much on her shoulders appeared to make things a bit lackluster for a good portion of the story at least for me. Parts of this story reminded me of another author Valerie Twombly with her Eternally Mated Series where not all demons are bad etc.
I really wanted to totally love this story as the premise sounded really exciting unfortunately for me this story missed the mark.
