Are you ready to enter a world of demons, angels, and rings of Hell? If so you have to pick up this book. This book tells the story of Ciera who makes a deal with Luke/Lucifer in an effort to be able to keep her baby sister safe until she is raised. Her plans go awry when Luke shows up early and takes the sister instead. Ciera then decides to embark on the journey into Hell in order to save her sister even if she has to lose herself. She finds a hot angel guide and meets a couple more hot supernaturals along the way leading us to a doozy of cliffhanger that will make you wish the next book was out already. Great for fans of paranormal/supernatural slow burn reverse harem novels. These two authors are truly great together. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
I always enjoy Ms. MacKinnon’s work and this start does not disappoint. The characters were great and I really enjoyed the plot going on in the book. It left me looking forward to more from the series.

Ciera’s Dangerous Journey . . .
Ciera is a strong and resourceful young woman who will do whatever it takes to save her sister. So when her sister is taken by Lucifer, Ciera will never stop trying to get her back and is quite willing to go down to the depths of Hell to find her. She meets three strangers who are drawn to her just as she feels drawn to each of them. Now she will travel through the circles of Hell with the help of her companions. Will she find her sister? Can they get out of there if she can free her sister?
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Hell’s Calling, the first book in the Infernal Descent series by Skye MacKinnon and Bea Paige. This is an entertaining read that takes us on Ciera’s journey through the first few rings of hell. With an angel to guide her, Ciera is trying to get to her baby sister that was taken. This journey is fraught with danger, interesting characters, self discovery and a lot of sexual tension. This is a series read and does not resolve, but does set up for the next book in the series.

The first book in the Infernal Descent a well written story that held my interest until the end, but it does end on a cliff-hanger. I want to read the next book I want to know what happens next in Ciera, Ceb, Maro and Plutus’ story. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Selling her soul to Lucifer was never actually meant to happen but circumstances occurred which made it necessary.
When the devil takes her sister, Ciera is determined to get her back in any way necessary.
Looking for a way into hell, she doesn’t end up going alone… Instead a light appears in the darkness to guide her.
The angel who accompanies her hides a great many things but Maro seems capable of helping.
Through the circles of hell they pick up two interesting creatures who are fascinated by the human before them.
Ceb is a hellhound and Plutus is a wolf, both keen to tag along.
Will she get what she came for and be able to leave?
This book was a delightful and humorous read with obviously a hellish theme.
Ciera has a personality that instantly makes her likeable and her love for her sister is endearing.
The structure of hell is very descriptive and makes you feel as if you are there among the souls of the lost and damned.
Book one is a fantastic start and I was addicted from the first.
This author has a brilliant writing style that sucks you in for the hot and bumpy ride.
An exciting treasure that I would be happy to dig out any day.
I can’t explain how much I enjoyed this slice of literary heaven and must say it surpasses all the books I’ve read recently.
I chuckled quite a lot while reading this and found the males hilariously written.
I long for the second book.

Great start to the series!! The characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing, suspenseful and a page turner. Ciera will do anything and everything to keep her baby sister alive, even venture to Hell?
Such a great book! I can’t wait to read more by this author. The characters are amazing. I would definitely recommend it!

Descent into Darkness
I love this story’s spin on Dante’s Inferno. It’s plenty dark and there’s oodles of slow-burn steamy, plus some questionable morals make for a great story for Ciera and her men. I can’t wait to see what the circles of hell throw at them next!
An exciting retake on Dante’s inferno. Only this version features a reverse harem and a kick ass heroine. Grab a box of tissues, a snack, and a bottle of you favorite vintage and get ready for a roller coaster ride through Hell, literally.

Oh. My. Goodness. What a great first book in series! I loved how the story blends paranormal/mythical details as the descent into the underworld to rescue Tris ensues. I really enjoyed Ciera’s spunk (and fun inner dialogue) and the unique personalities of Maro, Plutus and Ceb. You can really see relationships evolving between Ciera and the three guys that seems to bind the group together despite Maro, Plautus and Seb’s past differences. Just as things seem to progress, the story ends in a cliffhanger. Of course! I can’t wait to see what happens in the next novel to advance the story.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It was original and the world building was excellent. The character development was very good and made everything very engaging and dramatic. Very interesting group of “heroes “. Definitely recommend this and getting the other two books in the series.
Hell’s Calling by Bea Paige and Skye MacKinnon is a supernatural reverse harem that I listened to on audio narrated by Hiral Varsani.
This is the first book in the Infernal Descent series and it does end on a cliffhanger. I enjoyed the slow burn reverse harem aspect of the story. I look forward to listening to the second book in the series Hell’s Weeping.
Hiral did a great job on the narration. I can’t wait to listen to more of her projects in the future.

Well this was not what I thought it would be but none the less it was a great start to the series.
Ciera gets a visit from someone to collect on her contract. One that she states is not suppose to happen until her sister is older. Well that is not what they wanted to hear so then her sister was taken. So what is Ciera to do. She is going to the depths of hell to get her sister back. On her way she meets Maro an angel, Cerberus a hellhound, and Plutus a werewolf. These four set out to help her get her sister back and the journey is crazy. Since Ciera is on a mission to get her sister back, she isn’t going to take anyone’s crap and will do what is needed to be done.
Will she be stopped? Can she do it? What will happen with the guys. There is obviously an attraction there on all sides. So this could get interesting.
What a fantastically well put together story. It is unique and full of action from start to finish. Ciera, Maro, Ceb, and Plutus have this great chemistry that is felt throughout the story. The descriptions are so life like that you can picture them as if right in front of you. The three men have this alpha personality that is protective, caring, and loving. Ciera is feisty, stubborn, intelligent and strong. They make a great team. The story is well written and beautifully developed with beautifully developed characters. It is a must read.
This was an action pack and breathtaking start to the Infernal Descent series! In hard times, we all make stupid decisions and will do anything to protect those that we love. Ciera sold her soul to Lucifer, also known as Luke, but when it was time to collect she refused and asked for more time. He took her three year old sister Tris instead and now she must go through the Dark Woods and the rings of Hell to get her back. Ciera has her flaws- she’s naive, but also headstrong and she’s fiercely loyal to those she loves. I enjoyed the guys that she met and how they were all different from one another. Ceb, also known as Cerberus, guards the gates of Hell and is playful and flirty, Maro, an angel who is unsure if he is dark or light with a serious and mysterious personality, and Plutus, a naughty werewolf who guards one of the rings of Hell. All of the men have a connected past and I’m looking forward to seeing it unravel even more and the heat rising in their relationships with Ciera. I love the vivid world that Bea and Skye have created and how they managed to put their own spin on Dante’s Inferno to make it unique.
Hiral did a great job with this narration! She used distinct voices for each character and had a flawless flow between each one. Her voice was easy to listen to and she kept me hooked until the very end!

A story that will keep you gripped from the very beginning and keep you wanting more when done. I am hoping the next book in this series will release soon.
Narration for the book was done very well. I love the accent that is used.
I like the book but don’t quite understand what’s happening. There doesn’t seem to be a real understanding of how/why she signed away her soul to the devil, and why he took her sister instead, and why these three are guiding and protecting her. I am assuming there is something special about her but the book doesn’t really lead you to that or give any type of answers to those questions. It’s just the way it is and lays out the story from there. So besides that confusion, I really like their challenges, how they handle each other and each hell level they encounter. It’s very fast paced and a lot going on. Got some slow burn going on as well. Overall, I am enjoying the book and given the cliffhanger I definitely want to continue to book 2!
