Then she comes to town like a summer breeze and makes me feel things I didn’t know existed.
She has the voice of an angel and the body of a goddess.
But she is running from her own demons. From the Devil himself.
He’s coming to town.
But I’ve walked through hell and survived, and I’ll walk through it again to protect her.
CASSIDY
I’ve spent years running from my past.
Town to town.
State to state.
Never putting down roots.
I wish I could but I can’t. Because I am running from the Devil and if he finds me, he will drag me down to hell again.
Then I meet a beautiful, scarred beast of man who makes me feel something for the first time in my life.
Hope.
He makes me want to stay but it’s impossible.
Because the Devil is coming and when he arrives I won’t stand a chance.

Hell on Wheels is book four in the Kings of Mayhem MC series. While it is a standalone, it is recommended you read the first three books in the series to get a feel for the MC and the family.

This one had me right from the start.
Chance had been a sniper in the marines. He now calls himself a Beast as he was hit by a missile that damaged his body but the mission it self damaged his mind. Then Cassidy catches his eye. He knows there’s something wrong, he’s just got to coax her to tell him. And when she did I just knew Chance could help and they’d make a great couple.
A very tense and sometimes violent story. I liked Cassidy, my heart bled for her and what she went through, but she was a warrior and Chance, he was a damaged man, but he was confused.
A very exciting story and definitely a must read. I highly recommend this book!
Hell on Wheels by Penny Dee is book 4 in the Kings of Mayhem MC Series. This is the story of Cassidy and Chance. I have read the previous books which added to my enjoyment of this one but you can make this a standalone book if you wish.
Chance was abused physically by his father when he was young and to escape he joined the Navy Seals. Now he is back from the Seals after being on a bad mission that killed his fellow group and damaged him physically and mentally. Although he tries to put on a show of being strong he feels the pain and hurt. Then he happens to see Cassidy and is of course attracted to her but he doesn’t feel that he would deserve someone like her. Cassidy has her on series issues that has kept her on the run from town to town for her safety but with Chance she feel protected but can these two hurt souls find that they become stronger with each other?
Enjoyed their story.
