Interesting book. I enjoy reading Linda Hubalek’s books!
Good book
Ethan is the definition of a mommas boy. Even though he is 30 years old his mother still runs his life. Helen is a widower with four girls, each from a different father. This puts a lot of stress on her being a single mother. To come to a new place only to have a shame of a new husband. Then they get along to update and run his parents hotel. Add some momma drama and this book was made great.
Another mail order bride with a twist. Homeless woman takes over hotel, warps spineless manger around her little finger and saves him from a broken neck when his mother takes a tight turn to the left.
It was nice to read about a young man willing to accept and love the children from previous relationships to start a new life with their mother. Interesting to read how mothers are afraid of being replaced in their son’s hearts by a wife. It would be so much nicer to welcome a new daughter into the family.
It was a fun story to read no surprises
Sweet gentle love story.
Sweet, predictable story. Just what I was looking for.
A good romance.
would recommend
Hated for it to end. Great work, Thanks.
This story was inspiring and encouraging as it shared the struggles of people going through many difficulties. It also gave the right choice to fine help for problems , depending on the Lord. The characters were a joy to read about . Excellent read !!
I liked this book because it was a different kind of happy ever after that had a bit of realism in it.
Good story
A pleasant romance with some meat in it.
I enjoyed this book. The main character was a strong woman who had bad luck as well as four daughters. The other main character was a henpecked son who let his mother run his life. During the mother’s absence, they learn to work together to both their benefits. Mom is not pleased when she returns but it all works out.
I love a happy ending. Warm and generous with love of family.
Sweet but kind of juvenile

Wonderful historical western romance filled with laughter, tears, and the remarkable resilience of 4 beautiful precocious little girls and the unrelenting love and fortitude of their mother! I became totally immersed in Helen and Ethan’s story and highly recommend this memorable story to everyone.
