Heirs of Grace is a tale of family and magic, action and wonder, blending the strong heroine, cheeky humor, and dark fantasy that have become the hallmarks of Tim Pratt’s writing.

I picked up Heirs of Grace yesterday without really knowing what it was about and really liked it. It is similar in tone to Undead and Unwed or Dead Until Dark without having a vampire or werewolf in sight. I wasn’t surprised to learn that it was initially released as a serial because each section feels like a complete story and ends on a …
Never have read Tim Pratt before! It was quirky and fun! Great characters!
DNF 48% – I gave it as much as I could stand. It was just too slow and boring and I simply could not get into it. Halfway through and it was going absolutely nowhere. DONE!!! I just have wwwaaayyy too much on my to-read list to spend time with stuff that just doesn’t do anything for me.
I really enjoyed this book. Good character development, good scenes, good plot, good storyline. A fun read.
I found the main character so annoying I decided not finish the book. A shame because the central mystery was intriguing.
Really enjoyed this light read. Strong and interesting female characters and a fun plot.
I highly recommend this book, you really never know what to expect from page to page. I find something new every time i re-read it. It’s in my Favorites folder and I’ve read it 6 times since i bought it 2 months ago.
This was a fun read. It had unique ideas and twists and turns.
I read as well as listened to the Audible version of this book and the narrator was perfect for this book. Loved it.
A fun, light-hearted read.
Good book with an interesting and for me unique plot well executed. The characterization was excellent with the humor between the main characters first rate. The plot was developed quite well and it dealt with many things that not handled well would have not been plausible. My only problem was it seemed a bit longwinded.
Not sure of the genre …
Fun book! Nothing to deep but a great cozy weekend read 🙂
This was a bit different from what I usually read but I liked it. Books in this genre are often aimed at teen readers. This one was good for adults and didn’t insult my intelligence. I also liked it as a stand alone book without cliff hangers.
This book is a fun, easy read. No deep thinking involved, characters are likeable. Would love to read more from this author but I think he’s only written this book and then no more.
I’d probably reccomend
It was original and one of those books you don’t want to put down!
This book was great! It wasn’t my normal read; but, I wanted something light and whimsical and this fit the bill. Pratt seems to have come up with a balance between fantasy and too far over the top. He has a wonderful imagination and is able to make you see what you are reading! Good Job!
Fun summer read
I bought the series
Really different magical story line.
