Lost and broken, Celaena Sardothien’s only thought is to avenge the savage death of her dearest friend: as the King of Adarlan’s Assassin, she is bound to serve this tyrant, but he will pay for what he did. Any hope Celaena has of destroying the king lies in answers to be found in Wendlyn. Sacrificing his future, Chaol, the Captain of the King’s Guard, has sent Celaena there to protect her, but … but her darkest demons lay in that same place. If she can overcome them, she will be Adarlan’s biggest threat – and his own toughest enemy. While Celaena learns of her true destiny, and the eyes of Erilea are on Wendlyn, a brutal and beastly force is preparing to take to the skies. Will Celaena find the strength not only to win her own battles, but to fight a war that could pit her loyalties to her own people against those she has grown to love? This third novel in the Throne of Glass sequence, from New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas, is packed with more heart-stopping action, devastating drama and swoonsome romance, and introduces some fierce new heroines to love and hate. Perfect for fans of The Hunger Games and Game of Thrones.

Loved this one! Celaena is forced to use and control her magic, and is trained by Rowan. They hate each other initially, but warm up to each other as the book goes on. They also find there’s a dark presence in the area, killing fae and try to investigate, discovering it is part of a much larger problem.
This book introduces Manon, an iron teeth …
I never knew a book could simultaneously make me gloriously happy and rip my entire soul apart.
You know an author is talented when she’s able to completely change the series into something entirely different but make it feel natural. When I finished reading Throne of Glass, I never could have thought it would have gone in this direction. But now …
Heir of Fire is undoubtedly the best book in this series so far. It is wonderfully long and I was hoping it was longer, it kept me occupied from the beginning to the end, making me want more and more. So many new characters are introduced and new sides to our beloved characters are shown. I really enjoyed this book and I think it is the most …
*insert middle finger* FUCK YOU KING OF ADARLAN!!!
QUEEN AELIN FOREVER!
So, when I first read this book, I wasn’t a huge fan of it. It had to grow on me. Which I find so fitting because Celaena & Rowan grow on each other throughout this entire book. It’s still not my favorite from the series but it’s definitely in my top 3. This is such a great portraying of Aelin’s character growth. Rowan was such a huge influence in …
Each book just gets better and better. The character development is so fricking good its nuts. I’m reading so fast because threes so much action going on and moments where you want to cherish. I have caught myself smiling, frowning, getting a little teary eyed. Omg this series is absolutely amazing. Aelin and Rowan what a power couple I can’t wait …
So many things are happening that this takes your breath away!! So many terrible things have occurred and so many more are set to happen. There have been such heartwrenching separations. And scenes that gut you. I cannot believe how attached I am to so many of these characters! The events keep replaying in my mind and I’m trying to guess at just …
I can’t even to begin to describe how awesome this installment was. So many new characters and stories, so many characters finding their strength and truth and power. It was a wonderfully fearsome thing to read, and only hints, I’m sure, of the fun to come. Not to mention, Rowan is a delight that I look forward to reading more about. Can …
I loved these books. I couldn’t wait for the next one to come out and the ending was so entangled, I had to read it twice. These books are up there on my top ten best series.
Remember Celeana is so she has gone to Wendlyn to find BLANK and she has to decide between being Celeana and Aelin. Ok, this is my favorite book of the series because of who she meets and I just loved their encounters, but hated how broken she felt.
Love love love <3
Heir of Fire was so much different than the first two books in the Throne of Glass series. I don’t know how to pinpoint it, but it was just the overall feeling while reading Heir of Fire. It could be the introduction of new characters, or the separation of previous characters from one another, but something felt different.
The first thing that I …
this whole series is amazing. check it out for yourselves
Great third book in the Throne of Glass series. Keep reading!
If you think this is the kind of review that tells you what the book is about stop reading NOW!
For Mrs Maas’s Synopsis on the inside book jacket or back page will do that for you.
This is my opinion of the storyline, characters & the world building I so dearly treasure.
I have yet to find 1 misspelt word or 1 wrong piece of timeline etc. in …
LOVE!!!
Best series! Love them all!
Gods, the first 70% of the book was like a foreplay to a crazy, phenomelnal last 30%!
Absolutely loved it!
Read the series…loved the main character. Well written.
Loved, loved, loved!
But, man, these books kill me. I feel so sick reading them, like I’m just waiting for something terrible to happen. I don’t want to turn the pages because I don’t want to read bad things! But I can’t stop.
I’m so envious of Sarah J. Maas. I wish I could plot and write like her. These stories are just…grueling in the best …
