Lost and broken, Celaena Sardothien’s only thought is to avenge the savage death of her dearest friend: as the King of Adarlan’s Assassin, she is bound to serve this tyrant, but he will pay for what he did. Any hope Celaena has of destroying the king lies in answers to be found in Wendlyn. Sacrificing his future, Chaol, the Captain of the King’s Guard, has sent Celaena there to protect her, but … but her darkest demons lay in that same place. If she can overcome them, she will be Adarlan’s biggest threat – and his own toughest enemy. While Celaena learns of her true destiny, and the eyes of Erilea are on Wendlyn, a brutal and beastly force is preparing to take to the skies. Will Celaena find the strength not only to win her own battles, but to fight a war that could pit her loyalties to her own people against those she has grown to love? This third novel in the Throne of Glass sequence, from New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas, is packed with more heart-stopping action, devastating drama and swoonsome romance, and introduces some fierce new heroines to love and hate. Perfect for fans of The Hunger Games and Game of Thrones.

I’m savoring my way through Sarah Maas’ Celaena Sardothien series. It’s hard to hold myself back, I want to gobble them all down. Maas and Bardugo own the fantasy scene right now, which is well-deserved.
Just finished Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas love her!
I love the slight attempt at romance here but the caring feelings between the two main characters are just …. :)))) I LOVE IT. This one really shows a lot of stuff that we didn’t know and gives an example of the determination from Celaena.
Heir of Fire is the third novel in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. This book picks up where Crown of Midnight left off at, so if you haven’t read up to that book in the series, then I would recommend not reading this review. I try not to spoil, but I always warn just in case.
Storyline/My Thoughts: Celaena has survived a brutal …
I’m on a Sarah J Maas kick lately! I have loved all of her books, and she is one of my top favorite authors. I love the way she writes, I love all the complex details that come together at the end of each book, and I especially love that I can’t easily predict what will happen next.
My favorite character in this book has to be Manon Blackbeak. …
This was another fantastic installment in the Throne of Glass series, and perhaps my favorite yet. Aelin’s character is so full of complexity and darkness and vulnerability, and the supporting cast of characters Maas introduces in this book are her best yet – my favorite addition being the unforgivably fierce, iron-teethed witches. It’s just so …
This book is amazing! The female lead is just what girls have been needing as a protagonist to look up to. A strong woman who knows her own mind and is willing to do what needs to be done to save the ones she lives.
I cannot tell you how much I wanted to give this book four or five stars. I really want to like this series like everyone else does. I have read everything else Sarah has written and I have enjoyed every single book. I thought Heir of Fire would change things for me for good like everyone else had been saying, but it didn’t.
Here are the only …

The beginning was very exciting, especially after everything that happened in the end of the last book. After a couple of chapters though I did feel the excitement lessen a bit until about after half way of the …
Definitively better than books 1 and 2. The dynamic relationship growth between Rowan and Aelin was enjoyable to read. Not a fan of how much Maas overwrites, but the world-building is really coming together.
So this book was definitely much better than the first one. It had some good plot twists that honestly surprised me. And, as it’s typical with SJM, I experienced so many emotions. I love that here, we get to know new characters, and I also like the development and growth that the characters we already know go through. There are some exciting and …
I’m really getting into this series. First two books were kinda meh, but now things are starting to get really good!

This book will captivate your interests. I highly recommend reading this book.
I just fell in love with Sarah J. Mass….
Until this book this series was keeping me intrigued but I didn’t love it, that changed with Heir of Fire! My main problem with Sarah was her reading style but in this book it improved so much compared to the previous one! Its still descriptive but not too much and it doesn’t have that detached feel …
Another great installment in this series. Ms. Maas has a gift to write imperfect characters that you grow to love. Like the others–or maybe even more than the others so far– this is a rollercoaster of events, revelations, and emotions. Can’t wait to start the next one.
This book is a great fantasy read. I was hooked from the start and devoured every word. A great read, I really enjoyed it.
The entire series is amazing. I savor Sarah Maas books, rather than launching into and through them too swiftly. She’s a wordsmith and as a reader, I can tell that she cares deeply for building characters and worlds that you can picture yourself in.
My Rating:
Type: Series – Book3
Genre: YA NA Fantasy, Action and Adventure
Primary Characters: Celaena Sardothien (Aelin Galathynius), Rowen Whitethorn, Manon Blackbeak, Aedion Ashryver, Chaol Westfall, Dorian Havilliard
This book continues with the adventures of Celaena when she reaches Wendlyn and also opens up to broader aspects …
Actual rating: 4.5/5
In this book, we meet multiple new people, more answers are given, and more questions are left unanswered. I think this is the book where things really start to go down and get interesting. It’s a turning point, not just for the characters, but for the story as a whole. Even the feel of the book is different. As I was …
This is very probably my favourite of Sarah J Maas’ books so far.
I love the build-up in the relationship between the two main characters and the addition of some new faces makes it even more enjoyable.
