“Message of Faith” is the second book co-authored by Retha McPherson and her teenage son Aldo. It tells of Aldo’s miraculous healing and their supernatural journey since a car accident almost claimed Aldo’s life in 2004. The book contains journal entries in Aldo’s own handwriting wherein he warns the bride of Christ to be ready for the soon arrival of the King. During Aldo’s coma Jesus took him … him to heaven and hell. “Aldo rarely wanted to talk or write about hell. Jesus said he had to wait for the right time,” Retha explains. She goes on to say, “That time is now here. He recently told me Jesus said to him, ‘Aldo, tell My bride — BE PREPARED, I am coming soon.’” Aldo’s letters will open your eyes to the reality of heaven and hell and the implications of your choices here on earth. The book explains that the road of dying to self and living in Christ is what purifies the bride, and this can only be done if you walk by faith and not by sight — believing that God is who He says He is.

The book will encourage the reader to believe that God is and that He will walk through life with us and wants to be our Guide.
Well written. Worth reading for Christians. All true.
This is written by the mother and most of it is the family’s view of how his status affected them in a positive way. Lots of notes in his handwriting in ? A Norwegian language then translated to English
Difficult to read at times as many of these sections are as almost a memoir type style
It reveals how close to God we must live.
Couldn’t really get into it so stopped reading it. There was a book out a long time ago that seemed to be very much like this book. Did not hold my interest
I started this book but I really couldn’t get into it because I did not like the way it was written. Something about it was just not hitting my my fancy . I have not given up on it, I am going to try it again later. Thank you!
There were too many “rabbit trails”. I lost interest very quickly.
I found it challenging to believe.
I give this book 3 stars.
I really liked this book. If you don’t think God is real, you might change your mind after reading this book. If you think He is real, but mostly for worshipping on Sunday morning and ignoring most of the week (hey, we’re busy, right), you need to read this book.
Wisdom beyond all expectations; rubber meets the road instructions.
I loved the way the author used tons of scripture to back up what she was saying. I encourage the family to keep on fighting.
Made me think
