Style and seduction collide in Jamie K. Schmidt’s Heat — sure to please fans of Fifty Shades of Grey — as the world’s best-dressed men and women shed their clothing… and their inhibitions.
On the run from her abusive fiancé, ER doctor Mallory Bryant arrives at her sister’s Connecticut resort desperate for a place to restore balance to her life. But Club Inferno is more than a haven for the … Club Inferno is more than a haven for the rich and fashionable. Beneath its elegant facade is an erotic playground where dominants and submissives play out their fantasies. At first, Mallory is wary of Max Spencer, the martial arts trainer acting as her bodyguard — until he introduces her to passion so intense she wants nothing more than to surrender to his touch.
As one of Club Inferno’s most skilled doms, Max enjoys taking Mallory to the limits of pleasure. It’s a dangerous proposition, and as their sensual games draw them into a relationship beyond the boundaries of pupil and master, Max starts spiraling out of control. But when Mallory’s violent past catches up with her, Max knows what he must do: draw her closer than ever before, even if it means risking a surrender of his own.
Heat is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

I’m a fan of his Stone Barrington books, but this was carefully and thoughtfully written. I loved it, great read!
I couldn’t put it down now matter how hard I tried. Excellent read !
Entertaining and full of action. A bad good guy or a good bad guy?
Fair. Not as good as his later books.
A good two evening read !
Great read. Author did not disappoint. Sadly, parallels to real life events.
great book by Stuart Woods.
so far the best that I have read.
Excellent
Good story.
You just can’t beat Stuart Woods for fast-paced action and breathtaking plot twists.
It reads like David Baldacci.
Loved it
Stuart Woods is always entertaining. I think this is one of his better works. Very novel plot.
I always enjoy this author.
Could not put this book down and really made me want more.

I loved this book. Stuart Woods always writes a great entertaining story.
Seemed possible. Likable hero.
A good read, but Woods is getting a bit formulaic.
Nothing else needs to be said: In my mind Stuart Woods is one of the best authors you’ll ever read! If you’ve ever read one of his books you already know what I mean, if you haven’t read one of his novels what are you waiting for? He is without a doubt one of the best page turner authors you’ll ever read, by the way you should check out the Stone …
