The “Girl Power Collection” is a celebration of feminism in an unprecedented manner and will serve as an inspiration for millions of readers across the globe. Over the years, men that have made landmark achievements in different facets of life have often been celebrated with very little stories about bad ass women that have excelled in their respective positions. While there are some works that highlight the fantastic achievements of women in powerful positions, there is no particular project exclusively dedicated to celebrating the “girl power”.
The compilation contains short stories with the theme of Girl Power in whichever way the author defines it for herself and her readers. The 30 romance stories are narrated in a diverse yet entertaining and inspiring way and will be released in regular intervals throughout 2020.

This is a quick read that is part of “The Girl Power Romance Series”. HEARTS PENALTY is the first book in the series that I’ve read and I’m all in.
Because of the length of the story, the characters are quickly introduced and the actions starts from page one. It is a perfectly detailed story that is not overly wordy or descriptive.
I read this while eating lunch and was absolutely satisfied by both my sandwich and this story.
Getting the penalty shot
Hearts Penalty by A.M. Williams is part of The Girl Power Romance Collection where each book is by a different author but they all have the same underlying “theme”. I have read several other books by this author and enjoyed them so I looking forward to reading this story and was not disappointed. The story of Pru and Dax may be short/novella length but it packs a great big wallop as you read it, in all the best ways that is. I loved the fact that Pru is a woman coaching a professional men’s soccer team who does not put up with anything. Dax is a former player on the same team and has been hired to be part of her coaching staff. But they share a history from college that adds another layer to this story. Pru recognizes Dax but him not so much………yep she looks familiar but he can’t quite figure it out until he finally does. Then add in that Pru is worried Dax has been hired to replace her and she will be getting the boot, after all it is a “boyz club”. As Pru and Dax reconnect will they be able to work things out and make a winning team?
This book is well written with an engaging and imaginative story-line. The characters are strong and interesting, as is their history and the revelations. Plus there is the surprise ending that finishes it all off like the cherry onto of a sundae.
The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is undeniable while the storyline flows smoothly throughout the storyline.

The kind of story that you don’t want to put down! Very well done!
This is one of those books that grabs ahold of you and keeps you in place from the first page all the way through to the last. There isn’t just one thing that maintained that level of attention. It was the book as a whole that is just incredible. Don’t get me wrong, Pru is a boss coach of a male soccer team and that’s pretty bada$$ and Dax is a sexy retired soccer player which definitely requires some recognition but it was their history and their reconnection that’s makes you wanting more and more. It was their connection, chemistry and honesty with one another that made this book unputdownable. I just couldn’t get enough!
This was a nice quick read. I loved that Pru got a second chance with Dax. They really deserved it after what happened the first time they got together.
Pru is head offensive coach of a men’s professional soccer team. Dax was player of the year five times, and was just hired to be part of her coaching staff. They went to the same university. She looks familiar to him, but he can’t place her. Until their past comes back to his memory. Can Pru and Dax leave there drama off the soccer field and do the job that they are supposed to be doing. Can they both put the past behind them and move forward and give there relationship chance. This was a great read and I couldn’t put the book down once I started reading it.

There are some twists in the story line is something I didn’t expect. Pru is worried that management hired Dax to replace her, but there’s a big surprise for everyone about that. And what a sweet surprise in that ending!

Pru is my kind of woman. Having to prove herself among all the men on the soccer team, she is one strong woman. In comes Dax though and it’s a second chance romance you wont’ forget. She has to get over the past and forgive him while also figuring out her place on the team. It’s sweet, sexy, and I love Pru!
This story just hooked my attention starting from the very first sentence until the very last page. I loved reading about how Dax and Pru met in present time and then again back in College. The steamy scenes were sexy but sweet and I really could see the chemistry between Dax and Peru. the story was well-written and flowed nicely for a shorter novel. This is a must add to any library and is definitely worth a re-read!
