TOP PICK ROMANCE—Romance Times Book Review—“Julia Gabriel does an amazing job with this devastatingly heartbreaking love story.”
Becca never intended to come back to pretty little St. Caroline, Maryland and her family’s quilt shop. Growing up, she was the wild child … and the black sheep of the family … and the girl who couldn’t get anything right.
And she definitely never intended to see Jack Wolfe again. Those fifteen minutes she’d spent with him at a graduation party seven years ago? Unforgettable—for a whole lot of reasons.
Jack was the golden boy of St. Caroline. Smart, Ivy League-educated, law school-bound. He’s home from California for a family emergency, a situation that would not be improved by the news that he’s not the hotshot corporate attorney everyone thinks he is. If he can keep his real job a secret until the end of summer, he’ll still be golden and no one else will be the wiser.
But Becca has an even bigger secret of her own … one that will change Jack’s life forever …

Awesome book
The second book in the St. Caroline Series a well written story that held my interest until the end. This is Jack Wolfe and Becca Trevor’s story and their second chance. This is a very emotional story to read. Becca had so much to overcome before she could let love in, and let people know about the secret she has kept for seven years. The quilts sounded beautiful and the Quilt Therapy would put them to a good cause. I want to read more in this series.
A good read.

Sweet
An interesting study in how doing the right thing can really have some painful side-effects. This deals with both choices have problems with them. But, with some pain, they do end up all being worked out. Written well enough that I was rooting for each of the characters.

Loved this story!
This book just proves 18 year olds should not be responsible for decisions that shape the rest of your life. These two characters tried to do what was right for everyone
I really enjoyed reading this book. Loved the characters. Not all sunshine and roses. Realistic.
That I predicted the surprise turning point doesn’t take diminish the pleasure I got from reading it. Sad beginning with bittersweet ending.
