This is the third and final book in The Santiago Trilogy. Omg what can I say I have been waiting for this book since I last read Hearts Divine. The story continues with Dante and Eve trying to find and kill Sevastein. The story gets more darker and you learn what really happen to Dante’s daughter. We also find out what happened in Afghanistan to Dante and Grayson. Don’t want to give any spoilers away but, this story has so much action and suspense that I love.
I love these characters so much and I’m sad this story is ending but happy to know we have will get novellas of the other characters. This is such a great series a must read and one of my top books for 2019.
Wow! What a ride! I really loved Hearts on Fire and the whole Santiago trilogy.
One of my favorites dark romance books ever. The anti-hero is a very hot alpha male, jealous and possessive but Eve knows how to deal with him and bring him to her light whenever she can.
Eve and Dante have amazing chemistry. You don’t get tired of them. Every time they’re together there’re fireworks. Their scenes are intense and smoking hot. Their relationship is complicated but great, the plot is interesting, intriguing and the secondary characters are awesome too.
There’s action, love, friendship, steamy scenes and hot sex, thrilling action everything perfectly mixed and very well written.
this is the final installment in the Santiago trilogy.
i have waited for this one patiently, and wow… what a book!!!!!
Catherine picked it up right were we left of the previous book, the tale of Dante and Eve continues when they try to eliminate human trafficking and find Eve’s friend.
in this book we get a glimpse to Dante’s military past and his acquaintance with Grayson. i loved those chapters, i think they gave Dante a whole new dimension.
and…. we also get to know Grayson 🙂 (i really hope there will be a book about him, i really like this character)
there is some good action going, i fount myself flipping the pages wanting to know what’s coming next. and sex is super HOT!!!
as always, Catherine’s writing is flowing, the story line is wonderful and the plot is reach.
the ending of this book sums up the whole saga, i loved it.
so… if you haven’t read Catherine’s books – grab them now!!! they are the best 🙂
What an amazing conclusion to this series. Full and twists and turns throughout and even a couple of surprises. You definitely wanna read this series.
This story is amazing…their love going against both of their pasts and ultimately, love wins. Dante and Eve are brilliant characters, and the supporting characters are perfectly written as well. I would have totally given this a five star rating because I love the story, but I couldn’t move past a few editing errors (words not spelled correctly a few times). They didn’t take away from the story, but they did give me pause upon seeing them. Sorry, i’m quirky that way. Regardless of that, please read this story. You won’t be sorry that you did!
5 Stars or as many as I can give

Ok, I am gonna start with this. I am a southern momma with two teenage boys, a husband, and a daughter, and one major rule in our house is to NOT BURN THE BACON!! AND I BURNED THE BACON tonight! Seriously, people, I burnt a large pack of bacon. I could not put down this book. I swear only five maybe six minutes passed while I was reading (actually maybe 20). With that being said, Holy Hot Sticks, I am freaking IN LOVE!!
This is dirty, dark and I mean dark, series. This is not your sweet, passionate love story. This is raw, deep down in your soul passion and then add the organized crime element and it makes this one of the best series I have read. It is not a quick, little or easy weekend read. The Santiago Series by Catherine Wiltcher will consume your life until it is done with you. But when you hit that last page, you are lost because you don’t know what to do next. Where is Dante? What am I supposed to do now? Can I just go back to his island? Joseph? Anyone? Bueller???
Dante Santiago is freaking vicious but dangit, he is hot as Hades. That man is the epitome of an organized crime king. The devil himself. But even the devil has a heart, right?
Ok, it just hit me. Dante and Eve = the devil and the first woman. Brillant! Oh, and Eve gives as good and she gets. She is a sharp-tongued woman who does not take anything from anyone. She walks, well rather is kidnapped and forced into Dante’s world but she comes out of it his Queen. One scene you will read will make you holler to put a crown on that woman’s head. She just brought the devil to his knees! Just go ahead and give it to her. Read book three and you will know what I am talking about. HOT!
I normally don’t share quotes from books I have read but I have to share this one. This one is it for me. I will always keep this one written down.
“Find me in the darkness”, I gasp, breaking for breath. “Find my light and let me guide you.” He looks at me as if I’ve said the strangest thing, like I’ve opened up his chest and exposed his most private inner thoughts. “Love me and never stop,”
For the first time in my life, I have swooned. I don’t know whether to melt in a pile of goo or cry.
I received all three of the Santiago series at once so I dived right in thinking it would be an easy weekend read. Well nope. I am speechless. The first chapter starts out running and does not stop. There is not a lull anywhere in these books so there is no skimming, anywhere. Please do not tell me there are no more books to this series. I need to know more. Joseph and Anna. Dig more into Eve’s family. Uh, the path Joseph and Dante are talking about taking?? I am freaking addicted, any book that Catherine Wiltcher writes will be in my library the second I get this posted.
So we are on our final book, and I have to say it has not seemed that long. These books flew by. They were that good, and with the twists and turns, you never knew what was going to happen next.
Life will never be healthy for Dante and Eve, but maybe they will be together. We will never know until the end. And, to be honest, I didn’t know even then. You will have to read the trilogy to find out for yourself. I highly recommend that you do. This trilogy will rip you apart and maybe put you back together. I finished this book two days ago, and it is still on my mind, and I am just now able to write a review that won’t give everything away.
Catherine is now one of my go-to authors, and I am so excited to see where she goes next.
Hello my new one click author!!! I am blown away by the conclusion to this trilogy. She has weaved so much magic into this story that feels forbidden because the storylines, characters, and overall feelings these characters and author pull out of you. I was begging for something to happen and it sure did. The way these two characters have interacted and support each other was truly magical. This author has amazing skills when it comes to writing. I loved this trilogy and highly recommend it to all romance readers.
The book starts right where book 2 left off. It has so much action, deception, steaminess and craziness, you just need to read it for yourself to understand how truly amazing f this author and series was!!
Unknown to many, but an author not to be missed, Wiltcher has written the final installment of The Santiago Trilogy with a climactic bang well worth the wait!
Answering many questions previously unanswered, while weaving surprise and intrigue into the pages of this installment, her characters have delved to new depths and are found exploring unforeseen terrain that will leave no one unaffected.
Wiltcher has set the bar high for herself as she continues to amaze and delight readers with her talents while overcoming so many personal adversities along the way.
For a dark, sinfully sexy delight, I highly recommend The Santiago Trilogy. Wiltcher is an author that I will undoubtedly be on the lookout for, as I know that anything that bares her name is sure to be outstanding.
As Always, Happy Reading!
“5/5 Beaming Brains!” – Lit-Up My Mind
Catherine blew this series out of this world. Dante and Eve have as many fights as they do make up sessions. They both have tempers that need each other to keep them level. Dante is Eve’s Devil and she is his Angel, they are a perfect pair.
This final book of the series was awesome. Shows us how strong love it and that if it’s true you will do anything for the person you love.
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Eve Miller and Dante Santiago’s story continues from the previous book titled Hearts Divine. This time the author gives us several stories to keep us entertained. In this part of the trilogy, you would think the author would start to wind things down but not this one. Things actually ramp up and will have you transfixed from beginning to end. Hearts Divine came out in January so you may want to revisit the characters in order to see where this picked up. It is a series that must be read in order otherwise you won’t truly understand these characters. Plus, why would you want to start a trilogy at the end.
Dante Santiago is a man who keeps promises – especially when it comes to Eve Miller. He lets you know in no uncertain terms exactly what he wants from her. There’s no way that Eve can miss how much Dante has come to care for her. Make no mistake, she can’t tame the beast. Joseph is the man who will help Dante keep his promise. If I had to choose a disappointment, it would be that I didn’t get Eve’s friend’s point of view.
What’s nice about this final book in the trilogy is that Dante allows us to see how much he loves Eve. It also shows his humanity. You can tell that he’s the man that runs the show because he runs the story as well. Eve seems to be the calming factor even though she has her own issues. I have trouble solving mysteries – that’s why I’m glad the author has it figured out. Besides wanting to know how Dante and Eve’s story is going to end, figuring out who the bad guy(s) may be is another reason for me to keep turning the page. Another disappointment I had was knowing that this is the end and Dante shows that it was bittersweet. On the upside, the author has a couple of other books I can check out.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
The ending to Eve and Dante. I didn’t want these two to end. I didn’t want this series to end. I absolutely loved these two. This one was not like the first two. This was is a thrilling romance that left me breathless after reading it. She finished this series with a bang, captivating plot and one epic love story. Didn’t see that coming reading the first two in the series. There is a fire that burns between Eve and Dante that has only gotten hotter and more intense with each book. There is a push and pull that has existed between these two characters that has grown so much over the three books. Hearts of Fire was an insanely great book. It is full of suspense action page turning moments. I read it from page one to the end. I could not put this book down until I knew what was going to happen with Eve and Dante. I absolutely love how Catherine has you going through the emotions. There was humor, anger, love. Everything you want in a good book. I absolutely loved this series. I read almost everything and anything and I was so glad I took a chance on this series. I want this series in paperback so I can reread it. That is how wonderful this series is. 5 stars nope 10 stars for this series. Catherine knows how to write a series that will grab you and have you gripped until the very last page, last moment, last word. Highly recommend.
I can’t believe that this trilogy is over. Since book one I have been in love with both Dante and Eve. I could happily read twelve books completely focused on this couple. That said, I’ve got my fingers crossed a few of the secondary characters are whispering their stories in Catherine’s ear and there will be more story to come for everyone.
So deets…This is the third book in so it will come as no surprise that I again say that the writing was fantastic. It was well paced. The plot remained intriguing. It was full of twists and turns. It was dark. It was angsty. It was bloody. It was sexy. Dante will have you wanting to dick punch him one minute and wanting to kiss it better the next. Eve remained a strong and feisty heroine. There was a strong cast of secondary characters. I enjoyed the little glimpses of backstory that enlightened us to how Dante and Joseph became friends. Anna was on my shit list for a while, but she worked her way back into my good graces. And Rick…sleazy Rick. I loved him…he needs a book. As does Roman.
Of course, as with all three of these books there wasn’t any OW drama. I appreciate an author that can write a fantastic series without including crazy OW and ad nauseam mentions of the hero’s prior sex life. Last, it was all wrapped up in a sweet and satisfying ending.
So ya, I was sad to see this series end but I have the hope there will be more to come!
RIVETING!!!
This is the final book in the Santiago trilogy and I couldn’t put it down. Dante and Eve’s story is one that’s sure to captivate you. I’ve been mesmerized by their tale from the very beginning. Catherine ties it all together beautifully in this one. The characters, the storyline, everything about this tale is nothing short of brilliant. Catherine Wiltcher is absolutely amazing. This is a must-read trilogy by a must-read author.
No words can ever truly describe how incredible this trilogy is. I’m utterly speechless with how brilliant and phenomenal it is. The continuing story of Dante and Eve will pull at every emotion that you have. They are a force to be reckoned with. Him being the devil and her being the angel, but is that really true? Eve will do anything for Dante and if it means doing things out of her nature, then so be it. And don’t get me started on how much Dante loves Eve and will kill anything and anyone who gets in their way so that she can be safe. This book ends the trilogy and so many new facts come to light that your head will be spinning. I cannot truly put into words how incredible of an author she is to have completely and fully made me so invested in Dante and Eve. This is truly a must read trilogy and everyone needs it in their lives.
I read this in one sitting; I couldn’t put it down. What an awesome conclusion to the series. Every book was strong and there was great continuity and consistency in all the characters through the entire trilogy. Tight editing.
Amazing.
Suspenseful.
Hot.
Action-packed.
I LOVED this book. I LOVED this trilogy. I am so bummed that Eve and Dante’s story has come to an end, but so thrilled that we can look for another book from this world this fall! The author has announced that Rick Sanders is getting his own book, and I couldn’t be more excited! Well, unless Joseph gets his own book. THAT might get me more excited.
In any case, this book has it all. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what was going to happen next. Would they find Anna? Would she be alive? Can Petrov be trusted? How about agent Peters? Would they solve the mystery of Isabella? I had so many questions, and thankfully got all of my answers.
I also loved the chemistry between Eve and Dante. He is so gruff- I just loved the bejesus out of it. And Eve, though well out of her comfort zone, really stands up to Dante. She has an impressive inner strength- she stood in the face of her fear, and stared it down. Nothing stopped her.
This is the first series by this author, and I am so overly excited about it. I can’t wait for more!

This is the final book in this trilogy and I’m sad it’s over. The story goes darker than before with eve and Dante thrown in the middle of it all. I loved the insight to grayson and dante’s past. You were constantly thrown in a loop, not knowing who was friend or foe, but the love they shared couldn’t be destroyed. Totally loved it.
Hearts on Fire is the third book in The Santiago Trilogy. I can’t believe this is the last book in the trilogy. It has had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. It brought out so many emotions. Catherine Wiltcher did a wonderful job with this trilogy.
I think this one was my favorite out of the series. I love Dante and Eve story. It was so good I couldn’t put it down. This one had my emotional on a rollercoaster, lol.. A top read for me
