I adored everything about this book. From the beginning, when Nash and Bianca were only kids, I was sucked into their fierce friendship and love. The writing is so flawless and real, you truly feel every heartbreak and all the pulsing attraction between them that could never burn out. I never wanted their story to end! 5+++ stars!
Heartless is a book that will grab your attention at the prologue and will have you glued to the pages until the very end. Nash and Bianca’s story is a second chance romance that is emotional, heart wrenching and one that will burrow deep under your skin. Their story will make you feel anxious and frustrated with all the time that is lost for these two. This book made me cry, it tore at my heart but in the end it lit up my soul. It was a story that is captivating, romantic and hot and steamy just to top it off. This is a story about sacrifice and soul mates. Five stars just doesn’t do this beautiful love story justice.
This is a slow burn 2nd chance romance …a little angsty and a Hero that is a bit frustrating. All is good for our heroine wedding planner..until she is hired to plan the wedding of her childhood love who left when he became a big rock star, breaking her heart.
All in all a solid read with solid characters and a heroine you will love.
HeartLess was my very first read by Kristy Love.
I can’t remember the last time I read a second chance romance with this type of compilation, the past (Before) and present (After) composed in two clearly separated parts. I think it was a good choice to deliver Bee and Nash’s story this particular way.
In both parts the story is told mainly in Bee’s POV interspersed with a few chapters with Nash’s.
Before: It was a bit heartwrenching to read how things escalated from true friendship to multiple heartaches – all because of being young. I liked how I could feel the increasing tension through the changes Bee and Nash’s friendship went through. I felt the inevitable demise lurking and almost was afraid to read the next chapter, fearing what would happen with them.
After: I wanted to smack Nash quite a few times and for a while I thought Bee would be better off without him. But he successfully redeemed himself, almost too late though, but I grew to like him. I even considered swooning in the last chapter. I really liked Bee’s backbone, she was a great character, a true nurturer through and through.
All in all this book was a good read
Kristy did it again, her best work yet! This book was so good. Bianca and Nash are so hot. I had all the feels in this book. I read this book in one day! Pick this book up, it won’t disappoint.
I loved seeing Bianca and Nash grow throughout the years, first we child hood best friends, turning into young lives as teenagers and then reuniting as adults. Theirs was a love for all ages, raw and organic. No one could truly come between them, and I devoured each word of this book.
This was my first book by Kristy Love and man have I been missing out. I love second chance stories and HeartLess is a new favorite for me. I’m not always a big fan of past and present in books but Ms. Love did it so well. The prologue to kick it off was perfection. I can’t really put it all into words without spoiling it. This book was a wonderfully written, angsty, fantastic second chance story that will stay with me for a while. I can’t wait to read more from this author. Five stars!!!
Bianca Fair and Nash James had been best friends since their first day of kindergarten when he helped her up off the ground where she had landed after taking the class bully’s dare to jump off the swing. And somewhere during their many moments spent together since then, she had fallen in love with him. She survived her unrequited feelings even when he started dating his first girlfriend. But something happened, and Bianca and Nash finally both came together in realization of their mutual feelings. And it was glorious, even when he and his band, HeartLess, took off on their very first big-break tour. When he broke her heart months into that tour, by telling her he found someone else, Bianca knew she had to move on. And now, 8 years later, Bianca is a successful events planner. She’s over Nash. She’s still got her other best friend, Peyton, and life is good. Until she walks into her office and greets her newest wedding clients. That they happen to be Nash and his fiancée is a twist Bianca never saw coming. But, she’s strong and she’s over Nash, so she’ll be fine. Uh huh. Right.
Gah, this book killed me at times. I wanted to junk punch Nash so many times. Bianca deserved far better than Nash, honestly. He played with her heart so many times, was so cavalier with her emotions, and so freakin selfish and self-absorbed. I never liked him or connected with him (hence the 4 rather than 5 stars), but I loved Bianca. She was tough and strong and I loved that she made him work to get her back. I still think she was entirely too good for him, though, and wish she had just dumped him on his stupid ass and found a man who was worthy of her. She didn’t, though, so I’ll have to settle for hoping she’s happy with him, even though she deserves better.
Aside from twat waffle, Nash, I really liked HeartLess. It’s mostly paced well, all the characters, even Nash, are multi-layered and realistic, and the chemistry, the love between Bianca and Nash is potent. Their backstory is detailed so well that I could really see how it affected their present, which is not always the case in second chance romances. Thankfully, the author knew to give their entire story thorough detail so that the past and the present were given the perfect balance. Though this is the first I’ve read of this author, after reading HeartLess, I know it will most certainly not be the last.
I loved this story. The book is split into before, and after, giving you lots of teenage insecurities, angst, and a fantastic friendship between four people. Nash, Bianca, Peyton are best friends through childhood, and Felix is added to their group when he moves to town. Nash and Felix have dreams of making it big in the music industry, and Bianca and Peyton are there every step of the way until their big break. Feelings develop between Nash and Bianca, but both are afraid to give in, until their time is almost up, and they both just go for it. When Nash and Felix leave, Bianca tries to hold on, but Nash ends things with her. destroying her.
After almost a decade later, Bianca is a successful party planner, Peyton is a pediatric nurse, and they’re still best friends. Nash and Felix come back into their lives accidentally, when Nash and his fiancé use Bianca’s party planning company for their upcoming wedding.
Lots of hurt, anger, sadness, and regret is shared between the four of them, and the most between Nash and Bianca. I enjoyed the story of seeing them all try to be friends again after so much time and so much pain. Nash and Bianca’s love story was heartbreakingly beautiful. I’d recommend this book.
I have read every book by this author and she just keeps getting better and better. I was so looking forward to the release of HeartLess and wasn’t disappointed. What a fantastic friends to lovers to enemies (for lack of a better word) story. Will Nash and Bianca stay enemies or will they become friends or lovers again? Sorry, can’t tell you that. This book is packed full of emotions and gives you all the feels. I highly recommend it whether you are a long time fan of this author or new to her, this is a complete stand alone.
Wow! What a great second chance story. I connected with Bianca on so many levels and felt the same way she did on so many things. I got so emotional on so many things that Bianca felt and/or went through.
Bianca and Nash have been best friends since kindergarten. Bianca knew that Nash loved music so she pushed and help him pursue his dreams. Bianca and Nash finally tell each other their true feelings about the other person and become a couple. But they were a couple for only a few days since Nash and Felix – aka Heartless (band name) – were going on tour to open for a well known band.
Eight years later, Bianca is still heartbroken about what Nash did to her but she is now her own person. She’s a very well known event planner and is requested to plan a wedding for a celebrity couple, which could push her forward in her career. The only problem – the groom to be is Nash!
Seeing Nash again opens up the pain and heartbreak that Bianca wen through for the last eight years. But she is determined to plan the wedding for the couple so that she can keep her job and advance her career. As the planning progresses, Bianca and Nash can’t resist their connection but Bianca is so determine to move on since Nash is no longer available.
Nash has never forgotten Bianca and suffers for what he did to her but in his own way, he knew that it was for the best. Being around Bianca now however brings up all the feelings that Nash has tried to ignored for the last eight years. We find out about their pasts and how Heartless came to be and how they got their fame.
But soul mates are meant to be together. Nash has to tell Bianca the truth and see where it goes but can Nash be brave enough to do that. He knows that someone will be hurt.
Very emotional and angsty second chance romance for two soulmates!

This is a new author to me, but goodness, I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. Bianca is an events planner, and Nash is a sexy rock star. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a beautifully written flawless story, which is heartbreaking, steamy, and filled with angst, drama, secrets, and romance. What do you do when you are supposed to plan a wedding for your first love?
Nash and Bianca were best friends growing up with the potential for something more. She fully supports his band and love of music, and does everything she can to help promote and book gigs for them.
Their friendship as teenagers is so integral to the plot, and I appreciated that so much of their story at that age was shared. Often authors will gloss over that part of their lives with just a few mentions. Here, you get to see the beginnings of first love and what happens when things go wrong.
Now, as an adult and event planner, Bianca is assigned to plan Nash’s wedding to one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood.
Despite the fact that Nash is engaged and Bianca feels hurt after years of being apart, you will find yourself rooting for them and hoping for their happy ending.
HeartLess will take you on an emotional ride in the best way. I loved this one so much, and I am looking forward to reading more of Kristy Love’s books!
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
A Second Chance at love! What happens when you meet your soul mate early in life? Nash and Bianca meet in elementary school and know the connection they feel is right. They are best friends, but they each have their dreams. When Bianca encourages Nash to follow his dreams she never expected it would take them years to find their way back together.
I highly recommend this book! I felt the pain, suffering and happiness from the first page.
From the moment I read the first few words of this book I knew I was going to love it. Bianca set a story in motion that I think every female could identify with in one way or another. She explained her first love. Seriously, who ever forgets their first love? I can honestly admit, I do to this day. Then there’s Nash, the object of the first love. He sounds amazing, yet clueless at times. From the time they’re little they’re always together and always helping each other out. However, just like in real life complications set in that change the pattern of their lives.
This story is so much more than just first love. It brings to life secrets that were long kept hidden and how they can change your perception of things and the course of your life. It deals with with assumption. Assumption is a common problem that I think at one time or another we all do. When you assume things without talking to the other person bad things can happen. Even though in life people are trying to do the right thing when you’re less than honest even for someone’s benefit, the result can be not what you anticipated.
I don’t do spoilers. It’s fair to the author. Read the blurb and read the book so you can get the full enjoyment.
It has everything you’re looking for: angst, drama, secrets, smiles, romance, and heat. Both main characters are flawed and it comes through quite clear. That’s what makes this story so real. In life who isn’t flawed? It’s watching the navigation of their lives and feeling all the emotions they have to traverse through that brings this story to life. The secondary characters are amazing. I would love to delve deeper into them. Felix and Peyton are both trips. They’re people you want to meet.
You can to see the evolution of immaturity to maturity. Too, sometimes areas of our lives never mature even though we get older. Old habits die hard.
I do have a favorite part, which I think is very enlightening to the characters involved. Since I don’t do spoilers I’ll just say look for Nash and Viv (another pivotal character) in the restaurant scene.
Reading this book made me take my own trip down memory lane. I found out I was asking myself the “what if” question. That doesn’t mean I’m unhappy. It’s quite the opposite. I just wonder how my life would’ve turned out if my first love turned out to be my true love.
This is my first book by this author. It won’t be my last.
This was my first book by this author and I’m so in love with this story. A second chance, friends to lovers story full of emotion that will pull at your heart strings.
Bianca Fair is an event planner and her past comes barreling back into her life in the form of her new clients. Nash James is a rockstar and was the love of Bianca’s life. Now she’s supposed to plan his wedding to Hollywood actress Vivienne Petit. She’s determined to do her job perfectly and not let her feelings get in the way.
Nash James hasn’t seen Bianca in almost a decade and thought his feelings for her were behind him. When she turns out to be his wedding planner, all the old feelings come back like a punch to the gut. How can he marry Vic when his heart still belongs to Bianca?
Beautiful story that takes you from Bianca and Nash’s teenage years to their current lives. Drawn in from the prologue to the epilogue, I just loved this whole book.
This is my first Kristy Love book and I can’t wait to read more!
I was drawn to this book by the blurb. I loved the connection, the visits to the past, and the progression of Nash and Bianca’s relationship in the present. This book has all the feels, from heartwarming, smiley moments to ready to bawl my eyes out angst. I was immediately connected to these characters and I never wanted the book to end.

4.5 Stars!
This story was truly an emotional roller coaster ride that was perfectly crafted by Kristy Love ~ she eloquently took you through a heartbreaking, slow-burning, angsty journey back to who Bianca and Nash truly are; Best Friends, Lovers and Soul Mates. This story would not be the same without Peyton and Felix, they were some of the best secondary characters. I liked the way it went back & forth between past and present giving the just the right balance.
This was a book I could not put down….
