HeartLess is a beautifully written second chance romance. Author, Kristy Love does an exceptional job of developing characters we can identify with and draws you into their emotions and desires. What’s not to love in an angst filled story?
I enjoyed how the story began with an explosive re-entry after years apart and then back in time to begin the love story of Bianca and Nash. I did feel that the previous years were a little drawn out and found myself hoping the next chapter would fast forward into the future again and it took some time. ***spoiler – In addition, as a woman it was a tad disappointing that once Nash left his engagement to Vivienne, Bianca immediately let him back into her life. I realize they’d been apart and she had been desperate to be with Nash, but come on make the guy grovel a little – guard your heart, girl!
Overall, I truly enjoyed HeartLess, and would recommend it as an enjoyable read for someone looking for a mostly YA novel followed with an enemies to lovers, second-chance trope.
