The girl that ripped out my heart is my wedding planner. How these things happen, I have no clue. As a billionaire, I’m supposed to live up to the limelight. A supermodel trophy wife. A lavish wedding. People pawing at me from all angles. As an ex-military man, this kind of crap doesn’t fit me in the slightest. And yet, here I am, getting married to a woman I don’t love. The wedding planner shows … getting married to a woman I don’t love.
The wedding planner shows up and happens to be my childhood sweetheart.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
She’s not a girl anymore though.
Beautiful. Curvy. Strong. Everything I remember and more.
My focus locks onto this woman and she stains my thoughts with her unruly ways.
When the wedding doesn’t work out with my cut-out Barbie Doll, I’ve got one thing left to do.
Run after the one I’ve always loved with a vengeance.
Even though she’s a heartbreaker, this woman is mine.
Then. Now. Forever.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

An interesting turn of events happens when one wedding planner shows up to meet the groom to start the planning process. Turns out he’s her old high school boyfriend. Their break up wasn’t exactly amicable, so to say they were stunned would be an understatement. Both realize they still are holding onto feelings for the other… even after a decade apart. Despite the fact that he is getting married to someone else and against her better judgement, she agrees to continue with their working relationship. And that goes about as well as you’d expect. There is some emotions in this one. There is the Mean Girl vibe, with the fiancee being a world class *B.* There are a few laughs, but this is far from being a rom com. It’s well written and you can really feel the emotions these characters are going through. It’s well written and easy to read. Moves smoothly. It alternates between POVs.
Another beautifully written second chance story by this author that will bring you emotion, trials and tribulations, loyalty, a little bit of mischief and whole bunch of love. The characters within the story were written well and kept my attention the entire time of reading the book. It was hard to put down.
Evan and Cherie were childhood sweethearts and dirt poor. He desperately wanted to be able to fly and talked of going to enlist in the US Airforce and wanting her to marry him so she could be with him wherever he was sent to work/live. But Cherie, no matter how much she loved him with all her heart, felt that he would resent her keeping him slowed down. But he decided to not join up and they would marry. the best he could for them, she knew that she had to forego her happiness for his as she couldn’t keep him from his dream. So she broke up with him. He was heartbroken too but joined up and he discovered that he had a knack for investing in fantastic investments and was a billionaire before he was 33! But he never forgot her and when he felt, under pressure to marry for a man in his position, he chose someone so very different from Cherie that it was unbelievable. Her name was Amber and she was only interested in herself and spending his money. They became engaged and Amber demanded only one wedding planner. The wedding planner was Cherie and as soon as Evan saw her again he knew that she had to be his. But how to manage the problem of Awful Amber and getting Cherie to love him as before as he had so much to offer her now? Does Cherie feel the same for him after 15 years apart? How will he break the engagement from Amber without her ‘going ballistic’??? How will he claim Cherie as his own forever? Beautifully written by the fabulous best selling author, Weston Parker, who had me guessing how on earth Evan would get his HEA. But he did and Weston certainly has a great imagination. The more that I read his stories the more I love them. Brilliant characters and Evan and Cherie were so obviously so well suited to each other. As for the Awful Amber … heaven help the poor man that she got her ‘claws’ into lol I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. This was a sensationally well written childhood sweethearts second chance romance from Weston Parker. Evan is a successful business billionaire engaged to a beautiful super model whom he doesn’t love. Cherie is a wedding planner who has unknowingly hired to plan her first love’s wedding. When Cherie and Evan are reunited, unforgotten feelings from their past resurface and a second chance romance blossoms anew. When a secret and a misunderstanding threaten to ruin their new found happiness, will Cherie and Evan have the courage to fight for the love they were never able to forget? Heartbreaker is a beautiful story about second chances, friendship, and fighting for the life and love you want. Filled with heartache, passion, misunderstanding, secrets, witty banter, forgiveness, and love. Readers will fall in love with this new second chance romance from Weston Parker and the wonderful characters. I really loved this new novel and couldn’t put it down. The perfect book to kick start a romantics Valentine’s Day.
Another fantastic book from Weston Parker! I love a second chance at love story and we definitely get that with Evan and Cherie. It’s been years since they were a couple, but once they’re back in the same orbit (in a weird twist of fate), it’s obvious the chemistry is still there between them, just as hot as ever. But not all is okay between them, as the reason they’re back in the same place is because of Evan’s wedding, which Cherie is the wedding planner (talk about awkward).
This is an awesome book. One of Weston’s best yet. It grabbed me from the very beginning. It is a heartfelt, wonderful second chance romance. It gave me all the feels. I didn’t want it to end but couldn’t stop turning the pages. It is a must-read!
An excellent second chance secret baby romance read
Cherie, a wedding planner, is hired to help Evan, billionaire investor and her one that she let go, plan his wedding. As the story progresses the past won’t stay behind, the present is filled with changes, and a not so happy surprise could derail any future they could have. Weston parker’s Heartbreaker is an excellent second chance secret baby romance read. His characters are designed to bring out the feels, both good and bad.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Evan is all set to marry his fiancee. But a surprise finds him, his ex is the wedding planner. Cherie is shocked to see him after so many years. She broke it off with him so he could follow his dream of the Air Force. Now those old feelings have returned, Evan still loves Cherie and would do anything to get her back. Can your first love be your last love?
She is the one that got away. Can he get her back?
This may be Weston Parker’s best book. You will be hooked at chapter one. Incredibly romantic with an everlasting love that will have you on the verge of tears. So heartfelt. Cherie selflessly broke up with Evan so he would pursue his dream of being an Air Force pilot. The breakup destroyed both of them. When their paths cross 15 years later, you can tell they still love each other deeply. Cherie is shocked to find out he is her new client of her wedding planning business. Needless to say, Evan is surprised to see her in his office and it brings back the love that he had for her when she was 17. Evan is consumed with need to see Cherie and thinks about her constantly. Excellent book. So much drama, sometimes funny and sometimes tragic. Evan is burning with desire for Cherie realizing he can’t marry the vile creature, manipulative excuse for a fiancé Amber. Disdain for Amber oozes off the pages as eternal love and devotion drips off the pages for Evan and Cherie. First love and last love. Evan and Cherie are each other’s perfect love and life match. Together forever.
A must read second chance romance by Weston Parker. Like real life there is a lot of drama and misunderstandings. The caring and chemistry is still there after being apart fifteen years.
Another MIDT by Weston Parker!
I was given copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
Cherie and Evan were high school sweethearts who’s relationship did not survive college. Fast forward a few years, Evan is wealthy and is ready to marry his supermodel fiance Amber. He needs a wedding planner to help planning this affair and he is pleasantly surprise when Cherie shows up at the meeting. They can’t deny the attraction and they never got over the break up. Are they meant to be each other’s ever after? A beautifully written story that I honestly volunteered to review.
WOW!! Heartbreak, angst and drama this one runs the gamet of emotions. It’s a wonderful second chance romance that was a delight and pleasure to read. I love the characters and the plot is so interesting and captivating. Evan is about to marry the trophy wife. However, the wedding planner is his childhood sweetheart and the only one he has loved. Cherie walks in and they both stunned. Neither one has gotten over their once love. This is a sweet story that I could not put down.
You did it again. Another romantic, loving book that has us from the get-go. We watch as two people who have history fall for each other again. The reunite over different reasons but find their way back. It was so good and I can wait to see what you bring us next Weston. Thank you for a wonderful romantic book this close to Valentine’s Day. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.

HEARTBREAKER By Weston Parker
This is another excellent read by Weston Parker. He always brings the goods, chemistry with steam, drama, angst, banter, with lots of twists and turns. This is the story of high school sweethearts that have been apart for 15 years. They reconnect when she shows up to be his wedding planner to his super model. Chaos ensues! I very much enjoyed this story. This is another 5 star read.
I absolutely loved this storyline
Loved Cherie and Evan and connection between them.
So glad they got their HEA in the end as they both so deserved it.
Well done again Weston
This book was so wonderfully written and the characters were written with such great detail and depth that I was enthralled from the very beginning! I was so engaged with Cherie and Evan that I had a very hard time putting this book down to go to bed!
This was a great second chance romance. Evan and Cherie were high school sweethearts but Cherie thought she was holding him back from fulfilling his dreams and broke things off. Years later Evan is a billionaire about to get married to a woman that he doesn’t love.
Cherie is a wedding planner, imagine her surprise when she realizes that her next job is to plan the wedding of her highschool sweetheart. Will these two get a second chance at love or will the past stand in their way?
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written with great characters and an entertaining storyline. Evan and Cherie were a great couple and they had amazing chemistry. If you enjoy reading second chance romance you will enjoy this book.
I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Evan and Cherie were childhood sweethearts until she sends him after his dreams of flying. Many years later, she is his wedding planner for his marriage to a money hungry and attention grabber bridezilla. They discover that their love for each other is still burning bright and he needs to get rid of his bride whom he never loved. I wasn’t crazy about Cherie’s soft role of martyr and her disappearances. She is overthinking her situations. Evan needs to stop going with the flow and make a stand for what he really wants. Nicely written and an enjoyable read.

Another wonderful story by Weston Parker, it’s a well-written second chance romance between High school sweethearts. This storyline is sweet and emotional. I really liked both main characters, they are incredibly likable and relatable. They are well developed and grew as the story progresses.
