Soulmates. I believe in them. I was lucky enough to have two of them at one point. The only problem. My soulmates happened to be twin brothers. Cameron was the light to Caden’s dark. And after all that I had been through, the light was what I thought I needed. When I chose Cameron, I lost Caden.Feeling like half a person after Caden left, I barely survived when tragedy struck and I lost Cameron … tragedy struck and I lost Cameron too.
It took me years to admit to myself that I had chosen wrong from the beginning. I’m ready to admit it to Caden…only problem, he hates me.
I’m ready to fight for my happily ever after.
But there’s a reason they call him the Heartbreak Prince.

AHHH!!! I loved this book so HARD! You are not ready for this book! Heartbreak Prince is Hell on the Heart! 4% in and I just knew Jane was going to wreak me! I tried to prepare myself but it didn’t help! This book is so unexpected and raw. It really packs an emotional punch that hits you right in the feels. You feel it in the back of your throat and in your chest as your heart cries out and your eyes well up. Heartbreak Prince will consume you and obliterate you! You feel it so deep in your bones. Caiden and Jackson were so much to Everly, the three shared a special bond until that moment when everything changed. I loved the way this story was written, we get past and present, it all flows smoothly and has you hanging on every word. Jackson really makes you hate him, you scream and yell and then he just takes your heart without you even realizing it. Jane really knocks you on your a>> by shedding light on a very important issue! I’m trying to stay vague because I don’t want to give anything away, This book NEEDS to be read. Everything that Everly and Jackson go through is so heartbreaking! My soul is still weeping for these star-crossed lovers! This is a book I won’t be getting over any time soon. The characters are stuck in my head and I’m dying to know what’s going to happen now. Heartbreak Prince is part one in the Broken Hearts Academy Duet, book 2, Heartbreak Lover is coming this July. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Heartbreak Prince took me by surprise! I didn’t expect all the emotions to come jam-packed in this bully romance! C.R. Jane hooked me from the start as I desperately devoured every morsel she dropped regarding this messy love triangle of sorts. It’s too complicated to call it a love triangle, but it’s something. You’re not sure who you’re truly rooting for, just that you want them to find their happiness. Jane may have done me dirty at the end leaving me raging over a massive hangover, but I was grinning nonetheless because the storytelling was amazing! I cannot wait to see where she goes from here to complete this duet! Five HEARTBREAKING GIMME MORE stars!
This was a great book with an amazing story line and characters that easily pulled you into their story wanting to know what happens next. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book because I was not ready for this book to be over!
What an amazing roller coaster of a ride! I’m not sure if I’m up or down at this point. I totally didn’t expect this story to go the way it did. I absolutely loved it! I loved the story and the writing. The characters were amazing. I really like Jackson he has really suffered so much without ever speaking up about his true feelings. I can’t wait to read more.
I became in lust with Heartbreak Prince after seeing the book cover, intrigued while reading the blurb and blown away after reading the last page!! When you go in blindly into a story and come out with a rollercoaster of emotions you know that you just read a damn good book! Everly, Jackson and Caiden’s story is chaotic, madness and heartbreakingly beautiful. Three best friends with so much love for one another, but what happens when you start feeling more for the other person and so does your other best friend. I couldn’t get enough of this trio. This book had me laughing, screaming at my iPad and in ugly tears, but it was so worth it. Heartbreak Prince is a must read book and now I am anxiously waiting for Heartbreak Lover!!
Thank gawd that this series is a duet. Everly is the right amount of naive, stupid, insecure, Jackson is the wild card but sweet when need be, and Caiden is the boy next door with a scary side hidden deep inside that’s going to snap any second, it seems like to me.
I’m starting to think all authors love writing cliffhangers to grab the readers & they love it it when we say we want the next book, Heartbreak Lover, Pronto. (just not to the point of hounding them through emails lol.)

In my opinion, the story played out like a cheesy teenage drama with a few twists thrown in there, but that’s what people like to read (and watch). I want, I really really want the HL!
They were her saviours when she was eight years old and being bullied for a life that was thrust upon her.
They became her best friends, her confidants, her everything.
Now one lays unresponsive in a hospital bed, and the other hates everything that she is….
Oh my gosh wow! what a fantastic much needed read!
The depth of her pain and grief is endless, much like the hatred that swirls within his very being.
I could see that he was torn from the very beginning. His head and heart fought gallantly and I enjoyed the whiplash he gave me!
All she wanted was a fresh start and forgiveness but maybe that’s asking too much.
This book excited me from the moment I laid eyes upon the cover, and my gosh what lies beneath is nothing short of amazing!
My only criticism is it was over too fast. I lost myself in their world as I was unable to put it down, and before I knew it the cliffhanger ending was there before me.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I need it Noooowww!!! 🙂
Oh. My. God. This book owns me right now. I’m obsessed, in love, and heartbroken over all of these characters. How could I not be? They have loved each other since they met, but it all gets so difficult and twisted and beautiful and ugly. It’s heartbreaking and I’m obsessed. What am I supposed to do now? Ms. Jane, you are a genius, as usual. I’m your biggest fan. (In a psycho, stalker, scary movie way.)
