A Very Romantic Story
A very romantic story with a few bumps along the way. The main male character and the main female changes had a synergy almost from the get go of meeting. They connected on another plain as a result of their musical interests. A unique romance story that flowed along well and was easy to read. There could have been more depth to the story, with Ms. Comeau going into more detail about the main female character and her belief in Voodoo, as well as Catholicism.

Abigail, was into classical music and taking a music degree at Tulane University. She was also a member of a seniority along with her two best friends, Zoe and Maggie. She also played at a bar as a part-time job. Alejandro was in the successful band Vaporized and a not so successful long term relationship. After a successful performance he wants to unwind and wanders into the bar Abigail is playing at. He approaches her and she is star struck, he too was in taken with her.
This is a steamy contemporary romance. The story is easy to read and pulls at your heart strings. The love of music and for each other Is inspiring. The carefully crafted and interesting characters make you want them to be together. There is emotional drama as the characters experience internal struggles and external obstacles. The heated scenes work well within the story, adding to it rather than distracting from it. This is a good romance with some heat.
Heart Strings by J.P Comeau book 2 in the Spring Fling series. This is about 3 college roommate best friends
I gave this book 4 stars. I definitely enjoyed this book more then book 1. This story is about Abigail who is studying to be a pianist at the University, she is also applying for the position in the orchestra. She’s a great classical pianist. Abby meets Alejandro at her part-time job, he is the lead singer in his band, also play guitar. They are very popular ( whom she loves) they quickly developed a friendship-negotiations. He kind of hires her to get rid of his current ex-girlfriend that’s cheated on him, but won’t leave him or his house.
After a week of Spring break, and having fun feelings begin to develop!
This was a light, quick read rockstar/college NA romance with some emotional parts, good characters, his family was awesome, and her connection to her gram’s added something special to the storyline. We also had some steamy chemistry with the main characters.
Not a cliffhanger, and can be read as a standalone. The ending could have been a little bit more detailed with an epilogue maybe?!
Overall I enjoyed this book though
Are we really destined to do what we think fate prepared for us?
This one really touched the strings of my heart. Very well paced plot with story line thought through perfectly. Likeable characters and one villain girlfriend. Everything seams like in a fairytale and seems simple and romantic. But what happens when the distance come into equation of this freshly formed relationship? Are we really destined for what we think we are? Is fate what it seems like to be? Will two of the main characters find their way to be together or will this one end without happy ever after?
I very much enjoyed this story set out in the time of spring brake. Fast paced story with unexpected twist and even greater ending.
Abby has always felt that she was destined to follow in her great grandmother’s footsteps and become a great concert pianist. One night when she was working during Mardi Gras she is surprised to find Alejandro Devera sitting at her piano bench. She sits down beside him and they play a duet making her night all that much better. When she was done for the night she found that he had waited for her. Alejandro was drawn to Abby even though he is technically involved with someone. They end up spending the night talking and exchange numbers before parting. Abby doesn’t think that she’ll ever hear from Alejandro again so imagine her surprise when he calls her later the next day. They connect so well that after spending the day with him she agrees to spend her spring break with him. Will he be able to break free of his girlfriend? Can he convince Abby that they can be together?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them sizzles with each turn of the page. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is a beautifully written romance story. He’s a rock star and she’s a classical pianist. Do they have the chemistry to make beautiful music together? The plot is exciting, intense, and captivating. I enjoyed reading it. I received this book as a gift and voluntarily give this review.
I really liked this book. It was a nice smooth read. J.P. did it again… The characters both needed something the other could give. Neither one knowing that their LOVE will win out in the end.
