Awesome story! I couldn’t put it down!
I loved that in this story we get to see character from previous books.
This is also a touching story that throws together two scarred and grieving people. Liv hasn’t overcome her fiancé’s death in her arms, and Diego feels he has so much to atone for. Just then, Diego discovers he has an unknown daughter Kylie, who has run away from home. He’s desperate to find her but he needs help. His brother Rat asks Liv to help Diego, because she was a former PI and in the military. They both are not ready for a romantic relationship. But feelings and a sweet attraction can’t be avoided. But when danger and killing threats get to them, will they survive to even give a chance at their love. Will it be worth the risk?
I loved Diego and Liv’s relationship, maybe tight and reserved at first but growing stronger as they face danger and fear of loss together. It was sweet, yet heart tugging.
This was a heartfelt story about two souls in need of each other and how God brings them together to heal their hearts, learn to forgive themselves, trust God with their lives and their future. A sweet romance with enough suspense to keep you captivated until the last page! Loved it!
I vividly recommend thisbook, not only to christian fiction lovers, but to anyone!!
Alexa is definitely one of my favorite authors!
This was a good story. I loved that Liv from Heart Healed is getting her own story. This book definitely had some twists and turns. I really enjoyed the strong emphasis on overcoming and moving on from your past. It was a wonderful book.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
A well crafted story with intriguing characters, twist and turn plot, and a believable resolution. Alexa Verde immediately draws the reader into the conflicts and contemporary issues of this gut wrenching story. Contemporary issues of physical abuse, addiction, and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) are woven seamlessly into this story of hope, love, redemption, and second chances. Fiction at its best – mystery and romance all in one.
Liv and Diego both have to forgive themselves. Loved the romance and the mystery that brought them together. Horses, cowboys, love, mystery….. A sweet tale of redemption.
It was a real treat to start this book when the previous ones I’ve been reading did not hold my attention. Things I liked: Great story, clean story, Christian story, characters one could relate to, a mystery, plus I seem to be drawn to books with missing children!
Liv has a ranch near Rio Azules, Texas.
Her co-worker Rat ask her if she can help his brother, Diego, to search his daughter missing, Kylie.
All together and the police interview, ask, meet people Kylie know.
Reading the book, you’ll keep the breath and hope Kylie ‘ll good, you’ll love the characters.
Heart Restored ( The Potter’s House Books – Book 17 )
By: Alexa Verde
Heart Restored is book seventeen in The Potter’s House Books series. Wow, what a story. Verde has did it again. She weaves stories about faith, love , and murder. I was captured at the start and did not want to put it down. This was one of those page turners where I could not read fast enough to see what was going to happen next. There was a few times that I caught myself holding my breath. Loved the story and the characters were so realistic. I could feel the presents of God working all through Heart restored. Missing daughter, Math school teacher, and a ranch owner. This is Liv and Diego’s story. Both have been hurt in the past. Will Liv help Diego find his missing daughter? Will they be able to find her? What about Liv and Diego can their hearts be healed and restored? Do you believe in second chances?
I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.,
The journey these two have to take is both heart wrenching and beautiful at the same time. Being believers does not make us all knowing with wisdom and light, sometimes we really need to dig deep into ourselves and take a step out in faith, and this story is a reminder to all of us that there are times when we all need to have a little more faith in ourselves, just as we place so much faith in our Lord and Savior!
Thank you for another wonderful book, Alexa Verde!
Diego,a teacher and Liv,a ranch owner, join forces to find Diego’s daughter Kylie and the process find love.
I loved the storyline,a return to Rios Azules with a reunion of previous characters and meeting new ones.
This book is recommended for those who love Christian romantic suspense.
The main characters in this book have deep emotional issues that cause them pain. When two of them come together, the empathy between them grows, and they begin to share their stories. This story has many levels and deals with teenagers and adults. It is exceptional and touched my heart with deeper knowledge of God’s forgiveness, grace and mercy. (I received an advance copy from the author. The opinions here are my own.)
I enjoyed everything about this book including the suspense, the created family atmosphere of the ranch, the healing of hearts, the love of GOD, the information that we don’t have to believe what others say but believe what GOD says about us. The truth statements from Christ should & can replace the lies that have been told to you.
I enjoyed reading Heart Restored. The main characters, Liz and Diego, are very likable. They have both lost a loved one in the past that they feel responsible for. Liz has made a family out of the crew at her ranch. I love their loyalty to each other and their banter. Although the plot of the story is very serious, a runaway teenage daughter, Alexa Verde adds romance and some humor as well. I highly recommend Heart Restored! I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
The tongue can be a mighty sword it can cut you down and leave wounds that can last a lifetime. Liv and Diego are living proof of words spoken to them and about them that they let define them. Even as Christians they still have walls built around their hearts. When they work together to help find his daughter they share their pasts but they still have things to work on before they can act on their growing feelings. A beautiful story of letting God define who we are. I received an advanced copy and I voluntarily reviewed.
Liv and Diego are both amazing people. When Liv goes to help Diego find Kylie she can’t believe how she is drawn to Diego. It’s amazing how much there backgrounds are alike. The characters in this book are all very special people who are like a family. You will feel God working throughout this wonderful inspirational book. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
