Even salvation can be delivered through the love of the damned… sin.
Steadfastly devout in her faith, and retaining the deep belief that her soul is innately tarnished as a branded ‘Cursed woman of Eve’, Delilah is determined to find her way home to her people in The Order and away from the corrupt and damned outlaw motorcycle club—The Hades Hangmen—who hold her at their secluded compound for her protection—a ‘protection’ she strongly resents.
Delilah yearns to return home, convinced that only amongst her own people, and under the holy guidance of the Lord’s revealed prophet, can her Satan-spawned soul be truly saved. Conditioned her entire life to believe she is a witch… a life-long temptress… the devil’s whore… Delilah increasingly resents her beautiful face, her shapely body and her sensuous effect on men. But when a man of the motorcycle club—a deeply sinful yet stunningly beautiful man—is charged with her care, Delilah begins to see that this dangerous and moralless sinner from the ‘outside’ may offer her something she did not know could truly exist: unconditional love.
Kyler ‘Ky’ Willis loves his life: a daily abundance of brotherhood, liquor, the freedom of the open-road and—best of all—his pick of hot women. Raised a biker brat and now VP of the most notorious MC in the States, Ky has no shortage of club sluts warming his bed; a situation he takes full advantage of… until a certain blonde enters his life… a gorgeous pilgrim-blonde he can’t get out of his head… a pilgrim-blonde he and his club recently-rescued from some backward religious cult… and a pilgrim-blonde he’s been ordered to keep the hell away from and his whorish hands off.
When yet another in a lengthy line of drunken blunders forces Ky to reluctantly take charge of the pilgrim-blonde’s care, he realizes that there could be more to this woman than just supermodel looks and a stacked set of tits. He begins to see that she could be the woman who could do the impossible—tame his wild ways and capture his reluctant heart.
But the unyielding bonds of Lilah’s past are strong, her ‘people’ determined and, with a new Prophet in charge and hell bent on revenge, they are mightily reluctant to let her go…

The series continues with Ky and Lilah . This was a good paced book with some sweet surprises. I was happy the way a certain two were taking care of and that Ky had a hand in it. I had to keep telling myself that Lilah doesn’t know any better because there were times I wanted to strangle her. There were twist and hold your breath moments wondering which way Tillie Cole was going to go. I can’t wait to start on the next one!!
Ky knew that there was something different about Lilah the first time that he laid eyes on her. he knew that there really was something about her when he couldn’t keep her out of his mind. and when he was told to help her adjust to the new world around her, he is drawn further to her.
Lilah knew that she had an attraction to Ky, but she believed that the only reason that he would have any form of attraction to her is because she is a “Cursed woman of Eve” and this ment that there was no way that Ky could love truely. the internal battle of Lilah finding her new faith and that of coming to understand that she does deserve to be loved and that has found that love is what makes this story one that resinated to readers.
Hades Hangmen Book 2 is Ky and Lilah’s story. Just as beautiful and gut wrenching as book 1. I love how these men are so hard but melt for these women. Love will do that to you. Lilah took longer to come around because of her past, which is completely understandable. Ky became so protective of her, I loved every moment of it.
**TRIGGER WARNING VIOLENCE, RAPE, ABUSE OF EVERY NATURE**
So here we get another cursed girl and my heart broke in this book. Geez I have no idea how Lilah did not mentally crack. Well yeah I do and his name is Ky. When he first laid eyes on her he knew he was c-struck as they say. LOL. Anyways Lilah did not have it easy either. the horrors she went through and what she mentally struggles with is harsh. Ky is to watch over her but with her struggles and the way she thinks because of the cult it hard to break. I am surprised Ky just didn’t walk away. However, he sees something in her and he can’t leave her. At a certain point I thought that being at the club was not a good fit for her. But she makes it work. She is tested time and time again. By the time we got to the end I saw a whole other side to these two. They are meant for each other that is for sure. They both heal but not without the struggle. This was written well and the emotions were intense. I cried a lot. It definitely got me in the feels like no other but I could not put the book down. Now off to the next one.
I have no words. This series just keeps getting better and better. I am hooked! Diving into the next book now!

I was a bit hesitant to go into this because I knew the hero is a manwh*re, but surprisingly the story was so good!!
Since Ky met Lilah after rescuing her, he had an infatuation with her. He wasn’t used to be fascinated with one woman, in fact with his pretty face he could have any woman. But when Styx forces him to spend time with her and show her the world, his attraction to her changes to something more, a feeling he hasn’t felt in a long time.
Lilah isn’t interested in the world. She thinks her “people” will rescue her and save her from this sinful world. But when she lays her eyes on Ky, she starts questioning her thoughts.
With her people tracking the cursed sisters and the hangmen’s enemies, their love is challenged continuously, but they get to go thru everything.
I have to say that the first 20% of the book was a bit hard for me because I didn’t enjoy Ky’s life choices and his way to women. But thank god, when he starts hanging out with Lilah and falls for her, he stops fooling around and starts worshiping her.
As for Lilah, I questioned some of her actions, but I understood her when I learned about her past. She slowly opened to the world and proved to be stronger than I thought.
I’m so happy that after all, Ky was there for Lilah unconditionally and how they started building the life they deserved.
Another thing I did enjoy is how this book settled up a lot of upcoming characters and their storylines, specially Maddie and Flame’s story.
Overall, if you are looking for a dark story that will push your boundaries, I highly recommend you to pick this one out!!
This series though! Ky and Lilah’s story has all the feels.
This is the second book in the series and this is Lilah and Ky’s story.
This is a continuation from the first book and does really need to be read in order as there is a lot of backstory and an ongoing story arc that started in the previous book.
So Ky’s a bit of a man-whore and there’s a fair bit in the beginning of him with his playmate club sluts Jules and Tiff, this is before he actually goes all out for Lilah’s attention and once he’s invested in Lilah he does drop them but I’m just putting this out there in case this does bother you.
It’s not really cheating as he’s not actually with Lilah like that but It’s still not my preference but to be fair I was prepared for it after reading the first book and how that went.
Also as this is MC I do find you get this a lot within this particular trope so I’ve learned to deal slightly as I like MC as a genre.
Lilah is batshit which isn’t surprising considering her backstory, at times though she could be a little too much especially in regards to how brainwashed by her cult upbringing she is.
Unlike Mae who desperately wanted to escape from her past embracing her new reality with the hangmen Lilah seems to have embraced her cursed daughter of Eve status and her religion in fact she was pretty obsessed initially with being saved and quotes scriptures like a lot.
She totally believes she is a temptress and sinful and wanted desperately to be redeemed.
I wasn’t a fan of her initial excessive religious views and she was also quite stubborn and close-minded to any viewpoint other than her own.
I think this was mostly a coping mechanism to separate from all the horrific stuff she had endured at the hands of others, A way of removing herself from the truth almost.
This book has triggers and does get quite dark it also gets worst before it gets better.
There’s also some slut-shaming that never sits that well with me, it’s just in regards to Tiff and Jules but considering their despicable actions and they were so vile as well I let it go as they did get what they deserved.
I also like how unusual the storyline here is, we have the MC which is a 1% club and all it stands for and then when you throw in the Cult angle as well it really mixes things up making for a very intriguing read indeed.
So Overall this had equal positives and negatives,
I enjoyed it slightly less than the first book mainly I think because of Lilah and her personality quirks, I did find her slightly annoying and blinkered.
But Ky actually turned out to be so different to what I was initially expecting and with Lilah he is extremely protective patient and loving.
He did surprise me and I wasn’t expecting to like him as much as I did he really was quite the sweetie when you got past that crass and blunt persona that is.
I’m interested in seeing where this goes next and I’m looking forward to Flame and Maddie’s story there’s something about Flame and his psycho persona that I find extremely intriguing so can’t wait to learn more about him.
This is dark and gritty MC rather than the more fluffy alternate and it’s also very well written just be aware it has some very dark situations and themes.

Book two in the Hades Hangmen series was running hard for top spot as my favorite. Ky and Lilah are so both completely and devastatingly broken that you cannot help, but to be pulled deeper into their story. Ky grew up only knowing the darkness of his club. Sex, drugs, alcohol, guns and death. It is what it is, the life of the MC. His brother are the only thing that has ever mattered…until Lilah. Tragically convinced that she is of the devil himself and her beauty is what will damn the world. Those who abused her, gloried in the outcome of the very lost young woman. Together, Ky and Lilah will not just crush your heart with all the feels. They will leave you desperate to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There were a bunch of triggers in the first book, but this book is all the triggers to leave you in a book hangover for weeks just thinking about it. Yeah, HEA does happen, but it is a rough as hell ride.
When my friend from the UK read the first book in the Hades Hangmen series… She kept telling me… “You have to read this book”! She even went as far as to gifting the book to me!
I had no clue what I was getting myself into. It was an MC book with a twist and I just loved it! It was something new and gritty…
A raw and an in your face kind of book. That book definitely stood out from the rest of the other MC books out there. I was hooked!
Ok…first things first…
You definitely need to read the first book before you read this book. This book cannot be read as a standalone.
You will be lost!
And I strongly recommend if you haven’t read the first book in a while you should just do a quick skim of the first book. It will help you with who’s who in this book. Because there is a lot of characters thrown at you in the beginning. It could be a little overwhelming.
For me…it always takes me a little bit to get back into a series book… if I hadn’t read the first book in a while.
With that all being said…. Wow!!
This book picks up kind of where we left off in the first book…
give or take a few weeks.
I felt it still has the momentum it had as the first book did for me.
Not once did I feel this book was slowing down in the action department or I felt the need to skim some parts.
In fact… It had the complete opposite effect for me. I was so shocked in some places in this book… That I had to reread some scene over again!!…lol
Just to make sure I was reading that part right!..
There were some very disturbing parts in this book. It was kind of hard to read and my heart broke for poor Lilah. Her whole life was just so horrible!! What she had to endure. No child should ever have to be subjected to…. And at such a young age! It was just so heartbreaking.
Lilah…
Reading her story was so sad. She was labeled “Cursed” by the elders in her Order. They deemed her to be too beautiful a temptress. Not fit to be around her own people….because they believed her beauty would send a man off the righteous path.
The Order believed that her mother slept with the devil. And that’s the reason why she had such beautiful looks.
Oh boy…
I don’t even know where to begin with all that.
The whole beauty story line was ok with me in the beginning. I get that Lilah was condemned because of her looks and her body. But… as I kept reading… that seemed to be the main focus of Lilah. Everything and I mean everything was blamed on her beauty. She was so brainwashed it was really hard for her to really see past it. I still don’t think she got past it…towards the end of the book… she more or less came to terms with her beauty and herself.
She was led to believed that her god would help her through everything. She was taught only one way to worship. So when she was finally able to see that everything she was told was basically a lie. She just couldn’t handle it. She was truly a lost soul. She didn’t know which way was up or down. I felt so bad for her. She was just so broken.
Ky…
He was the ultimate man whore. He never though about anyone but himself. He did his job came back to the club and went straight to a club slut.
That was his life… until he helped rescued Lilah. He absolutely fell for her looks. Once he really started to spend time with her. The feelings started to come. He was super protective over her.
Lilah put up a fight… she could not stand him.
But, Ky stood his ground with her and things started to change between them. Lilah started to trust Ky.
It was a work in progress with them. They would take one step forward…something would happen and it would set Lilah ten steps back. It was extremely frustrating for Ky. He tried so hard for her.
I loved Ky in this book! The things he would say!…lol
He was so patient with Lilah. He knew when to push her forward and when to back down. I loved that. And I also loved how they took things slow. It wasn’t one of those BAM… they jump in bed the second they start having feelings for each other…. No… he knew he needed to take things slow with her until she was really ready to let him in her heart.
The sex between them…damn! It was hot! I loved Ky’s dirty talk!…lol
There were a couple of things that I couldn’t overlook in this book as I was reading it.
In the first book. There was a perfect balance of a love story and the whole cult/ religion storyline.
This book… I did not feel it as much. I felt this book was solely about Lilah. Mostly about her beauty.
The love story between Ky and Lilah was just not front and center. Everything and I mean everything was based on her looks. It was starting to get old with me.
I mean… I got it… It just didn’t need to be said all the time.
The religion was also front and center too. This book definitely felt like it had more religion in it.
Which was ok… But at the same time I felt was to much. This book felt kind of long and I felt some of the religion talk/ beauty talk could have been cut down a little.
I was hoping we would get a little bit more of the Prophet Cain (aka Rider). We got a lot of flashbacks of past characters which I liked…but I wanted to know more about his New Order. He was definitely struggling with becoming the Prophet and guiding his people to the righteous path. I felt he knew some of the things his Order was doing was wrong. But…didn’t want to go against Prophet David teachings.
Overall…
This was a good book. The ending in this book makes me feel like Caine’s obsession with returning the cursed to the Order will be his main goal in the next book. He really wants to have Mae by his side to fulfill the prophecy.
I’m definitely looking forward to Maddie and Flame story!

4.5 stars!
Ky is Styx best friend. And the MC’s Vice President. Lilah is one of the cursed sisters. She was abused and molested. Ky and Lilah’s love was not easy. They had so many obstacles. But Ky is determind to protect Lilah. I loved his love and devotion for her. This story was so sad but also very beautiful. This series is so addictive. I love it!
Ky and Lilah
She’s done it again, this touchy subject is written so well, the research has paid off.
The author has a way of writing that captures the audience from the very first word and keeps them to the very end. This is book 2 in the series and carries on where we left off. This is based on lila and ky’s relationship. I love how we see the progression of Lila’s healing and her finding solace and peace, from all she has endured.
I loved this book so much! It was unlike anything I’ve ever read. Even in book 1 we didn’t get to this level of tragic and depraved. I am completely in love with this series so far! Tillie Cole is beyond an amazing writer. Such a dark and twisted mind that girl has and I love it!
My God. Tillie Cole is killing me with this series. It is so deep and richly layered. It is dark and raw and gritty. And it is hopeful and joyous and mind opening. I am loving every single part of this series. The plot of each book has gripped me and the story that is running through all the books has consumed me. I love the characters. Watching them struggle against everything they’ve ever known to find their way to each other and finding love and strength along the way. I can not wait for more of this series!
I said it with IAMB, but it bears repeating… I don’t know how I lived without the Hangmen in my life. Knowing Styx and Mae, Ky and Lilah, meeting the rest of the club… I just can’t imagine going another day without them in my life.
Because Kyler Willis, well, he owns my heart. Every bit the womanizer he is, Ky also has a protective and loving side to him. He’s patient, but will also push you to your limit. He’ll keep you safe, but he’ll also want you to soar. He’s funny, crude, strong, but vulnerable when needed.
And Lilah… wow. There are few characters that have been through what she has and to see how she was still able to remain so strong was incredible. Yes, she did have a breaking point and yes, it was so hard to witness, but she found her way back to Ky, but more importantly, to herself. She was still able to see the beauty in the early sunrise and the birds singing.
This book is so heavy, and so dark. It hurts you, leaves you breathless. But there are moments of laughter and joy woven in. You fall in love with Ky and Li as they fall in love with each other. You fall in love with the entire Hades Hangmen club. This is one series I never want to end.
*****SPOILERS*****
Words cannot express how much my heart goes out to Lilah. The years of pain and abuse she’s had to go through while with The Order; the brainwashing, the lies… She’s been crapped on and beaten down a million times over, along with the other so-called “Cursed”, Mae and Maddie.
And then she gets assaulted by the lickin’ twins, Tiff and Jules?! I was crying, “NO, NO, NO!” when she went down to Ky’s room (because you just knew something was going to happen) but then cheered, “YES, YES, YES!” when Letti (Bull’s old lady) took care of them!
Then she goes and gets kidnapped? I felt sick to my stomach for her! And it’s hard to even think, much less talk about when she hurts herself…
Oooh, that damn, freaky cult… I mean The Order. Pssh. The Brothers are all sickos, thinking they deserved to be serviced, treating the Cursed like they do. And double damn that Brother Cain! His vision/plan to get Mae in his bed and the Cursed back is definitely going to lead to a big-*ss war with the Hangmen! Brother Cain is so deluded. I’d love to ask him if he had that orgy vision as well. Please, Hangmen, take them out… Flame-style!!
There were many times when I felt like things were going great for Ky and Lilah and then BAM!, Ky says the word “spell” and Lilah would go into what I like to call “cult mode” and withdraws from him. It was so frustrating but it was hard to be mad at her because of everything she’s been through, everything that has been drilled into her head for years… That she’s nothing but a temptress. Oh, Lilah. *opens arms to give Lilah the biggest bear hug EVER*
And oh, Ky…He was so protective of Lilah and cared for her like no other. When he realized there was more to life than his father’s way of thinking… The results were beautiful. When he professed his love to her- It was so swoon-worthy.
I was over-the-moon when they got their HEA!
Looking to the future… I CANNOT WAIT for Flame and Maddie’s story!! I’ve gotta find out both of their histories, what makes him tick and am excited to see them fall in love and get their HEA!
I couldn’t wait to read Ky’s story. He is know not to want to settle down because that is how his father raised him, to never take an old lady. But seeing the beautiful stunning Lilah she wants her. Lilah is damage from being a Cursed one. We learn more about Lilah and Ky and I was heart broken for what Lilah had and still was going through, even after being rescued she still felt she was a temptress. Can Ky get her to believe she is not Cursed or is she to brainwashed for him to even help her? I love this series and can’t wait to read Flame’s story next
I can’t get enough of Tillie Cole’s Hades Hangmen!! I love these guys and their no apologies filth and outlaw ways. It’s just so juicy and fun. And then she brings in these women to make these guys fall to their feet and we get to feel all the feelings of desire and love and heartbreak. Lilah—poor, sweet, loyal Lilah. This girl has had a horrible, tragic life and the only thing she can truly hold as her own is her love for God…until Ky. Gah! He is forward and raunchy and strong and protective and I just eat it up as a reader. His draw to Lilah is immediate and it’s completely mutual for her. Their developing friendship into something more is sweet and tortuous. I love the story in this book too. It’s captivating and gut-wrenching and well researched and well written. I’m in deep with this series. On to the next! 5 stars for Heart Recaptured.
Lilah and Ky are complete opposites. In every way. But from the moment the woman crawled out of that cell he has been obsessed. And there is something there for her to. Though as a devout woman she will never accept it. He is the Devil, cursed to fall for here beauty, just like the rest of them. But tasked with showing her the outside world they slowly warm to each other and love is born. Until the unthinkable happens, and her worst nightmares are realised. Ky will do anything to get her back, but she just wants her dampened soul to be saved. To be free. Hard to read some of it but it’s so worth the torture and pain. Love is love in all its forms. And theirs is no different.
