Secrets are finally revealed in this stunning conclusion to the True Mates Generations series Spoiled, rich, and vain Isabelle Anderson has grown up. After being left pregnant and alone by her True Mate, she’s finally standing on her own two feet and built a life for herself and her son. But, when Ransom turns up unexpectedly, the foundations of her life are threatened and she knows she must do … knows she must do everything she can to prevent him from finding out that he is her son’s father. But more than that, she must also protect her own heart, which yearns for him despite his betrayal.
The moment he saw her, Lone Wolf Ransom knew he had to have Isabelle. The vapid and selfish princess was hiding a heart of gold, and one smile from her melted his resistance. But, circumstances forced him to push her away, for her own good. There was a plan that was set in motion long ago, and she was a complication he couldn’t afford, not when he was so close to what he wanted: revenge on those who wronged him in the past. He managed to stay away from her, but when her life is threatened, it was seemingly impossible for him to ignore it and he seeks her out to protect her.
When they cross paths, that old attraction sparks again—but was it really ever extinguished? Will Isabelle be able to keep the existence of their son from him? Can Ransom put revenge aside for good in order to win her back and prove to her they were meant to be together?
But their enemies have ramped up in full force and their threat is much bigger than both of them. As the fight heats up, can they focus on defeating the mages, while ignoring the call of True Mates? Or will the mages finally get what they want—the destruction of the Lycans and rule over of the entire world and humankind?

This was a good story. I really liked Ransom and his Savage Wolves. I liked seeing the maturity of Isabelle from the first book to this one. I think that they make a perfect opposites attract couple!
I do feel that the story was a little rushed at the end. Some of the pieces didn’t fit as snugly as I would have liked. The series was wrapped up but wasn’t as climatic as I thought it would be. That is just my personal opinion. I think that Ransom and Isabelle are awesome and I hope that we will see more of them in the future!
It has been an eventful and exciting adventure throughout this series! Of course, Isabelle, being the youngest, had the most room to grow and boy did she rise to the occasion. Ransom had a good heart but was so misguided. I love his sister, Silke. This final showdown with the mages is epic! I love these families and there are so many more stories to be told, I look forward to the next one. I requested an ARC copy of this book and the opinions are strictly mine.
Book nine in the True Mates Generations series and the last of this series, or is it? Isabelle Anderson and Lone Wolf shifter Ransom, and their son Evan. This story has suspense, drama, danger, revenge, evil, dragons, witches, werewolves/Lycans, mages, and a second chance. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The final in the series.
WE haven’t learned to much about Isabelle except she was a spoil girl with a child
which she didn’t want to explain.
WE learn what happen and the story begins.
Lots of drama twists action angst and romance.
A good end to series.
Enjoyed.

Lone Wolf Ransom and Isabelle Anderson share an incendiary passion that ends abruptly, in it’s wake are a broken heart and an unexpected precious gift. Ransom’s return awakens hurt feelings. recriminations, and a fierce determination to keep him unaware of his son. However the embers of passion and love are stirred once more, even as their enemies continue encroach on their existence, This was a very good read with secrets, action, drama and emotion.
This was a great end to an excellent series! This book is non stop from beginning to end. Just when you think you’ve figured it all out guess again! Loved watching how Isabelle evolved and Ransoms heart opens up. Loved all the twists in this and that so many questions from both True Mates and True Mates Generations were finally answered! Alicia Montgomery, well done!! I was gifted this ARC copy but chose to leave a review. The thoughts are all my own. I highly recommend this book, the author and the series!
This was another action packed, suspense filled romance written by Alicia Montgomery within the True Mates Generation series. It is a fantastic romance between Ransom, a lone wolf, and Isabelle Anderson that captured my attention right away and kept me reading until the end. This story can be read as a stand alone, but if you have read this series it clears up a few loose ends and is just an awesome read.
I love love loves this book. The only thing I didn’t like was that it is the end of the series! I highly recommend this series AND this author!

The true mates series is a continuation of intrigue, danger, betrayal, revenge, witches, warlocks, mages, dragons, lycans and the loves of their lives. Conflicts and alliances are made between species and individuals who are struggling to find the right path.
The story centers on the true mates Ransom and Isabelle and their inner struggles coupled with outside forces. Long laid plans complicated their path to love and now with a child in the mix this mother isn’t looking for a second chance love story.
Ms. Montgomery never fails to entertain and wrap you up in her stories. She brings me back again and again and I don’t mind one bit. Get a copy of this book and you’ll see the struggles and inner workings of true mates.
3.5 STARS. Pleasantly surprised.
I wasn’t keen on reading this book as it is about Isabelle, a very spoilt, privileged and self-absorbed shallow heroine. It was also going to have to jump back in time which is my least favourite plot type.
But I really was intrigued about Ransom and wanted to know his story.
Isabelle’s shallow attitude starts off this book but it was good to see her grow into maturity and to acknowledge how bad she had been. Motherhood had made her grow up. This didn’t make me like her at the end though.
Ransom has one hell of an ulterior motive for being in New York.
Now this played out well with a final battle with the mages taking place, causing one huge surprise in relation to the shifters which I did not see coming.
The whole situation with Ransom and his mother was not dealt with in a way I can accept.
Joanie feels like the proverbial bad penny that will come back.
Unfortunately, Isabelle forgives Ransom, the second time, way too easily after his mother discloses the terrible truth about what he was doing. I just found that part all to easily glossed over.
Hope the MC group and Silke, will get their stories too.
This is my honest review of this book.
Heart of the Wolf
Once again Ms. Montgomery has managed to break my heart. *sobbing into my drink* How you ask? This is the final book in the “True Mates Generations” series.*sobbing uncontrollably* I haven’t been this devastated since the end of “True Mates”. While this series is ending with one heck of a story between Isabelle and Ransom, I want more!!

I enjoyed reading this book , good storyline, it is filled with action, adventure, and intrigue. The interaction and chemistry between the characters of is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Heart of the Wolf was the perfect way to end the True Mates Generations. Ransom and Isabelle’s romance was hot and tormented. They may have had some tumultuous times but it worked to get them both where they needed to be for each other. After seeing Isabelle grow in the last few books it was wonderful getting to see what led to her growth. I loved the tie in to earlier story lines and the final battle was fierce.
Questions get answered and more possibilities open. We know Montgomery is not done with the True Mates world. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
I read an advanced copy of this book.
This has been a long awaited book. It is nothing strange for this author to make us wait for the book we want the most. It’s not a bad thing as I have loved every second of guessing who and what and where…. And oh boy, did I swallow the pages as if I hadn’t read anything in the series so far.
There are no words to describe this sensation, this complete calm I have now that everything is said and done. I know we are not done with this world but at the same time we have so many new things we expect and want from this author.
A perfect book and a perfect story. It was just the right end of the series. Loved this couple.
OMG!!!!!! What an epic ending. Not that I wanted the series to end, all good things do. But what a way to go out. Ransom and Isabelle had such a difficult journey. There were times that I thought they were never going to work things out. While their chemistry just about sizzled off the pages, the secrets and misunderstandings were overwhelming. So much happened in this book. The surprises were non-stop. The action reached unseen levels. The suspense will keep you on the very edge throughout the entire read. We have watched these characters grow into all that they are now. It will take everyone coming together to finally put an end to the mages. And a battle it will be. Larger and more important than they have ever dealt with. This was long awaited, but oh so worth it. I’m sure at some point we will visit the Lycans again. For now, I will say goodbye to one of the most amazing worlds I have ever had the pleasure being a part of. Thank you Ms. Montgomery for so many wonderful stories. I’ll see you back in Blackstone. This is my honest opinion of an advanced copy I received.
This one pulled me in and didn’t want to let me go. Even with a toddler and responsibilities I knew would have me up early, I kept reading well past bedtime. I love this story and I’m sad to see it coming to an end. There are so many others that need their HEA, and I’m looking forward to the spin offs.
Loved loved loved Ransom and Isabelle. Loved watching Isabelle grow. What more can I say? Except go get this book you won’t regret it.
I read an advanced copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this book. We had met both Ransom and Isabelle in previous books so I was really excited for them to get their story. Isabelle used to be a spoiled princess but I enjoyed her journey to growing up and becoming more responsible. Just because she had grown up doesn’t mean that she would just give in to Ransom. She made him work for her love, which just shows how strong she had become. Ransom has secrets, secrets that nearly pull them apart. It’s a little sad how clueless ransom was and I really enjoyed him becoming his own person not someone who Is easily manipulated as he was before. Also the ending seriously leaves me intrigued for more. It opens up a whole new world for the shifters and I’m excited to see what Alicia does with it.
