A really good second chance romance.
This is a story about a woman finally learning who she is and accepting her actions. I have to say, I missed the first two books in this series, so I was a bit lost for parts of this one but I really enjoyed watching Jessica grow and mature. Sometimes, you have to go through some really bad things and make it thru to the other side to be able to change and Jessica is one of those people. Her relationship with Preston was one that had to wait for her to change. It’s a really emotional book with some really tough issues but worth it.

This book was absolutely stunning. I loved the change in the heroine. The journey throughout this book was intense in so many ways. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Book three of the Heart’s Intent series is a story that at first I was not sure of but the more I read the more I liked the story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Jessica Sousa had been ego-centric and egotistical to a large degree, not caring if others got hurt, as long as she got what she wanted.
Finally seeing her way to undo some to fhe damage she did, she still believes that she deserves punishment for her past deeds and pushes the one man away, who loves her more than anything. She is near giving up on life, when she hears that she has cancer.
But with the help of some of her old and new friends and especially from Preston, the man who would never give up on her, she starts to fight back. But it is a long fight and a surprise enemy take their toll.
an intriguing story, well written. I was especially impressed with the character of Jessica, a woman mostly reformed, but sometimes the old ego is looking out of her.

This author has a talent that she is able to make the reader feel like they are right in the same room with the characters as their story unfolds! The great character and storyline development kept me totally captivated until the very last page was read!
I read my first Dawn Brower book about 6 weeks ago and since I have read several more because I really like her writing style. She has a wonderful way of developing characters and weaving a tale that feels real. This one is no different. Such a great tale. The only regret I have is that I have not read the first two books in this series but this one has made me go back and buy the first two. While it reads well as a stand alone, I did feel at times that I was missing some information, bit it really did not detract from the story. I look forward to reading the rest of this series and more of Dawn Browers books.

This is an entertaining read filled with romance, mistakes and redemption. To start Jessica is very unlikable and definitely not a good person. She makes selfish choices and hurts people. This book many focuses on how karma comes into play and now Jessica is broadsided by the unexpected. Can Jessica and Preston ever be happy? I liked this book. This is my voluntary, honest review.
The author does a great job bringing an intriguing story involving a multitude of characters. She fills it with twists and turns , tons of emotions and I enjoyed the growth in her characters. I enjoyed this book and would recommend this book / series.
