From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes the stunning conclusion to the Forge Trilogy. In this final volume, ruthless billionaire Jericho Forge faces his toughest challenge. To emerge victorious, he’ll have to give up the one thing he’s never offered a woman – his heart. It started as a game. She was nothing but my pawn. But I was quick to see the error in my ways, and now she is … and now she is everything I never knew I needed.
The value of a woman like India Baptiste is beyond measure.
But the problem with being a man like me? I’ve already screwed this up, and there’s no guarantee India will take me on for one last bet.
I’ll do whatever I have to do. Drop to my knees and offer her the only thing I have left. The one thing that’s only ever been hers – the heart of the devil.
The Forge Trilogy is now complete! Heart of the Devil is the third book of the Forge Trilogy and should be read after Deal with the Devil (book 1) and Luck of the Devil (book 2).

The third and final installment in this series will blow you away! Indy is truly a force to be reckoned with! I read this in one sitting! I could literally not put it down! Jericho Forge is one of the best, fiercest anti-heroes Meghan has written! Get ready for plot twists you just will not see coming! Buy this trilogy! It is a must read! 5 stars
In the ending to this fantastic series, we find Jerico in a tough spot and his wife India determined to get him out of it. They finally seem to be on the same page, wanting nothing but to be there for one another and to finally get their happiness together. But the road to happiness is not always so easy when everyone seems to be conspiring against you.
This book has some serious WTF moments where you will not see what the heck was coming……and all the things we thought we knew, may not have been what we thought. A plus series!
I read this in one sitting. It was extremely fast paced. Just when you think everything is all good, Meghan throws in another twist. And if you think you know what’s going on, you’re probably wrong. While Indy has always been strong, she takes it to a whole new level in this book. We also see more of Forge’s vulnerability when it comes to Indy. This book was full of twists and turns right up until the end. While I do feel it was a bit rushed, all questions were answered, even ones I didn’t know I had. This was a satisfying conclusion to Indy and Forge’s story.
Heart of the Devil is the conclusion of India and Jericho’s love story. I couldn’t start this novel fast enough and I enjoyed every minute I spend reading it. Heart of the Devil was so good!
Every trilogy that Meghan March writes is amazing, unexpected and addictive! The Forge trilogy wasn’t any different. It was one wild ride. This series was filled with twists, romance, hot moments, suspense and love. Every cliffhanger made me need the next one as soon as possible. I also couldn’t wait to read and know more about Jericho and India. I loved the Forge trilogy from the first chapter in the first book (Deal with the Devil) until the epilogue in this last book. That epilogue was beautiful, sweet and perfect.
Jericho and India are fantastic characters. The character development was great. Jericho changed the most and I loved that change. There is much to discover about him. He’s so much more than people think and India realized that. India will become his everything and she will love him with her entire heart. Jericho and India both don’t have an easy past, but they found real love with each other. They would do anything for the other. I love Jericho and India so much together!
What an AMAZING ride! Meghan March outdoes herself yet again. I told myself that I wouldn’t try to figure things out, but I failed and loved every minute of it.
If you’ve waited to binge read, I applaud your willpower and wish you a great time binge reading because it’s going to be AWESOME.
Meghan knows how to throw a twist into a book that it causes you to drop your jaw! I loved this conclusion.
Are you familiar with the reality tv show, Big Brother? There is a tagline for the show that says “Expect the unexpected.” This tagline was made for Meghan March. The conclusion to the Forge trilogy was nothing like what I was expecting but everything I didn’t know I wanted. The action, the drama, the love all adds up to a spectacular finale. This is an ending you won’t forget to an explosive series.
As I’ve mentioned in other reviews, Meghan’s female characters always draw me in because of how commanding and take-charge they are in their lives. While the men may “save” them from time-to-time, these boss ladies never act like a damsel in distress.
Another riveting series to love from the queen of plot twists!
I’ve been so invested in the Forge trilogy when this book hit my Kindle on release day; I devoured the entire thing before lunch. It was a high-octane finish to an intense and tangled series. Jericho and India both suffered greatly in this book and had myriad revelations to reconcile before they were able to find solid ground on which to rebuild their lives.
Heart of the Devil jumps right in where Luck of the Devil left off, while I’d remembered what had happened, I forgot the urgency of the situation and my heart was pounding by the end of the second page. I could feel Indy’s panic as surely as it was my own. Even while I was reading both perspectives and knew exactly what was going on, the starkness of her emotions overrode any security I had about Jericho throughout the entirety of the book
India and Jericho’s relationship was put to the test in Heart of the Devil, and it served to make both characters face the depths of their feelings. I loved the vulnerability they finally showed one another, since they’d both shown themselves to be impenetrable to even those closest to them. Each needed the strength of the other to finally release everything they’d pent up through their lives. It was quite interesting to realize how shockingly similar, yet strikingly different their pasts were, it was quite the juxtaposition, and I loved every part of discovering what made Jericho and Indy who they were.
The action of Heart of the Devil was insane. I was sure of the direction the book was headed and BAM! shocking reveal, time and again I was utterly taken aback by what seemed to be happening and what was actually happening. The entire Forge trilogy was rife with red herrings, I finally quit speculating as to what was going to happen and just buckled myself in for the wild ride Ms. March took us on.
Heart of the Devil is the third and final book in Meghan March’s Forge trilogy. This series is one story told in three volumes and must be read in its entirety. Heart of the Devil is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by India and Jericho.
OMG!!!! 5+ stars for this one! Meghan March really knocked it out of the park with the last instalment of this trilogy! This woman’s writing is simply phenomenal and she never fails to impress.
After the way the last book was left off I was eagerly anticipating this one. After THAT cliffy that I both praised Meghan with and cursed her (purely as I wanted the next book now) I have discussed my theories with my friend Lynn many times and I can honestly say none of them were right lol.
If I hadn’t already loved Indy then this instalment would have sealed that love. This woman has been to hell and back, shes had her world flipped upside down and yet shes still fierce and ready to fight for what she wants.
I loved Jericho, in this book you see his more insecure, sensitive side, which I loved even if I did want to slap him for being stupid. For this strong, tough, sexy AF man to show his softer side was beautiful to watch and Indy is the only woman to bring this out in him.
The twist at the end literally knocked me off my seat. I did not see that coming
I am sad to see the end of this trilogy as I could read more of Indy and Jericho
This is the third and concluding book in the Forge series and if you did not read my prior post on this amazing story, I started with something like…
“Sometimes ya just gotta sit back and say damnnnnn.”
Meghan March again left me shaking my head from side to side, with a big cheesy smile on my face.
How do you make a love affair grow? Make the characters discover what was laying beneath the surface of their souls and come to grips with what that may be.
Jericho Forge started this series as that alpha male, independent, cocky and strong. In Heart of the Devil, we see him accept that what started with a ploy and a pawn has fully developed into anything but a game. His passion has no bounds and his strengths no limits when it comes to one person.
India Baptiste is that person. She has discovered a side to her that she never recognized. She is also discover what it means to be totally committed to a cause. She is a woman that shows genuine love where it is needed and that healing of the heart is a power only she can muster for herself.
These two have been pulled apart and are fighting to get back to where they need to be. In the end will we get that HEA we all want them to have?
Meghan March, my QUEEN of cliffhanging does not disappoint. This ending comes at you out of nowhere, and the surprises will have you asking “WTH” at one minute and cheering the next. And yet in true Meghan fashion, we are never sure if what we thought was going to happen ever will. Well not till the end.
What a wonderful job with this story Meghan. Great way to pull all the pieces together, and show us unexpected are the expected when it comes to you. Five Stars is not enough for this fun feat.
A great finale, with more passion and action, a couple of plot twists to make you jump in your seat and lots of heart. This final book was even more than I expected! There’s no way to review this book without revealing some of what happens and this book has to be read to be enjoyed. You need the surprises and the knocks.
India continues to be head over heels in love with her husband and will stop at nothing to rescue him and will use whatever means necessary. Likewise, Jericho’s only thought is to ensure Indy’s safety. They are, all throughout the book, devoted to each other’s safety and well-being. They still fight, Indy still plays poker, but this time, she’s a new person when she plays. She plays to win, and she is now ruthless like her husband. I was enthralled, riveted, passing the pages feverishly to get to the solution of the situation.
This author’s books are addictive, as full of smexy scenes as tender scenes, and family scenes. I love that this author balances her sexy times without sacrificing the importance of the story. I love that characters from previous books appear in this one; one I’ve read, the other is already purchased and in my TBR. This is definitely one of my new top favorite authors. Get ready for a wild ride!
Absolutely fantastic ending for this trilogy. Meghan March has outdone herself with this one. A strong independent female lead who meets her match in the ultimate anti-hero. And yet, we can’t help but fall in love with Jericho Ford. Twists and turns keep us guessing, never knowing where the characters will lead us. I think what I love the most is that the plot takes some completely unpredictable rollercoasters, so get ready to hold on and see where Forge and Indy will take us!
5 heart pounding stars!!
Heart of the Devil is the epic conclusion to the Forge Trilogy. It plays out like an exciting, fast-paced, suspenseful, action movie that gets your heart pumping and your emotions flowing. It’s twisted, complicated, and unputdownable. I loved it!!
The story picks up after the brutal cliffhanger from Luck of the Devil and immediately we dive into chaos. Indy is desperate to get to Jericho but time is running out. Dangers are lurking, blood is spilling, and enemies are coming out of the woodwork. Nobody is safe and Indy and Jericho must face the most difficult challenges yet.
From the start there are so many unanswered questions and the unknowns are overwhelming. Indy doesn’t know who she can trust, where she’s going, or if she will even see Jericho again. The only truth she knows for sure is the way she feels about him. I admired her strength and determination as she fights for the unexpected love she has found. She refuses to lose hope or give up, and I love that she goes all in when it comes to Jericho.
“Jericho Forge doesn’t have a single clue what it’s like to be the center of someone’s world. He’s about to find out.”
Jericho intrigued me in the earlier books with his rough edges and confidence but when he showed me his sweet side that only Indy brings out, I was a goner. He’s gotten under my skin and I can’t get enough of him. He is a badass billionaire who is not only hardcore but who has connections and isn’t afraid to use them. He will do anything to keep Indy safe and even though there were times I was frustrated with his actions, I understood them. The depth of his love for her is everything and I couldn’t stop swooning.
“That’s what you get. Every heartbeat. Every fucking breath. Everything I am and everything I have is yours.”
Together, Indy and Jericho seem unstoppable. They are stronger together and yet they are also vulnerable. I loved seeing the need through their eyes when they acknowledge that they could lose everything. I loved their intimacy, intensity, chemistry, and heat.
“I need you. My hands on your body. Your taste on my lips. Your breath against my skin. I need to feel you. Feel that your safe and everything’s going to be okay.”
Just when you think you know what is going to happen, the story takes a turn, and OMG, it’s a rollercoaster of emotion as their relationship is tested. I was heartbroken and frustrated, and wanted to scream. Their love isn’t the only thing in jeopardy though. The jaw-dropping twists give us front-row seats to the dangers that threaten Indy and Jericho lives. The suspense is real and intense. However, as the story unfolds, Jericho and Indy take things up a notch and prove they will do anything for their happily ever after.
Overall, Indy and Jericho’s love story was exciting, addictive, intense, and oh, so good. Add in the gorgeous epilogue and Heart of the Devil was the perfect ending to the Forge Trilogy.
4.5 stars for – Heart Of The Devil – book three in the Forge Trilogy by Meghan March. Books one and two must be read prior to this in order to fully understand the awesomeness that is this trilogy! If you have waited until all the books were out before you dove in to Jericho Forge believe me when I say you won’t be disappointed – the man is nothing short of life altering and ranks right up there with Rix for me!
When we last left off things weren’t looking so good for our H/h in a lot of ways and this book picks up almost immediately after the intense ending of – Luck Of The Devil. Indy and Jericho are both in for more surprises than they ever could imagine and they learn rather quickly things are never what they seem. Will their relationship of convenience last or will someone lose their heart?
Ms. March takes us on a voyage all over the Mediterranean Seas spinning this elaborate tale of the consequences of losing your heart when you never thought you had one to begin with. Danger, treachery and deceit are par for the course so sit back and enjoy the ride.
Another winning trilogy from Meghan March. Jericho and Indy’s story are a must read. Alpha Queen Meghan hit it out of the park. Jericho and Indy are the perfect mesh of alpha male and strong, proud, willful heroine.
What an amazeballs conclusion to an epic trilogy! So many things I didn’t see coming! I thought I knew things…thought I knew what would happen…NOPE! Meghan March threw curve balls at me, leaving me on the edge of my seat, anticipating what would come next at every turn of the page!
We jump right into where the deliciously nasty cliffy left us hanging in Luck of the Devil and boy was it a ride from cover to cover. I was feeling all the emotions and super anxious! I didn’t anticipate these rough, strong hero’s to make me cry, but they do!
“You’re my legacy, Jericho.” I mean COME ON Read and you’ll understand all of the emotionally charged moments.
Jericho & Indy may may have started out as a business decision, but they grew into something neither of them saw coming. Ahhhh I just love them so much. Power couple alert bookies!
OH Mr Forge! What can I say about this gentleman that has not already been said… What a great trilogy… Ms March never disappoints! India is just as real as you can be… LOVE her acceptance of this man and her family. Love the ending… Love the story! It will definitely be on my reread list!
Wow. Just…wow.
Cliffhanger haters rejoice! This is the epic conclusion of Jericho’s and Indie’s story, and what a conclusion it is!
I can’t even begin to describe the love I have for these characters. Jericho and Indie are both broken and battered, but when they’re together it’s like nothing else matters. They’re raw and passionate, yet stubborn to a fault.
Their journey has been difficult up to this point, so why make it easy now? So many surprises, twists, turns, and WTF moments in this installment had my mind reeling and my heart pounding.
I’ve never experienced a Meghan March saga before this one and I’m honestly disappointed in myself that I haven’t jumped aboard her bandwagon sooner. This is a fantastic, thrilling, fun, and sexy trilogy and so worthy of a binge read. This is also the first time I’ve ever experienced a series in audiobook and it was amazing. I can’t imagine having experienced this journey any other way.
This book, and this whole series, gets all the stars!
That was beyond my wildest imagination! I know better than to think I have any idea what’s going to happen in that crazy mind of Meghan March and let’s just say that our lady did not disappoint. I was left reeling after the cliff hanger we were left with at the end of Luck of the Devil and everything pick right back up where we left off.
Indy and Forge and some of the most entertaining but frustrating characters I have ever read. Most of the time I’m cheering for them, rooting for them and some time I really just wanted to smack them. Their relationship was not your normal one but you could tell that their feelings were true and I hated when they didn’t always follow that.
Everything they went through threw out this story was something I couldn’t let go even when the story was done. Once I made it to the final chapter I couldn’t stop and once everything started to fall into place my jaw hit the ground totally blown away by the outcome. This is one of the many reasons I love reading Meghan March stories because you never know what’s around the corner. This is such a hard review to leave without giving away spoiler just know this is something that you have to read, you won’t be sorry.
It’s here!!! It’s finally here!! Buckle your seat belts folks! Heart of the Devil is a roller coaster of a journey to the conclusion of the Forge Trilogy! Indy and Forge are forever in my heart! I am absolutely in love with these characters! Meghan March, you are brilliant! Let the binge reading begin!!!!Heart of the Devil
Fast paced, this smoldering hot read was a total adrenaline rush!
This book starts right after the cliffhanger from book 2, and from page one this story takes off.
Secrets, hidden truths and family drama are all seamlessly interconnected as Jericho and Izzy are playing the game of their life. What develops and unfolds had me glued to the pages!
Endless twists and turns kept me on my toes trying to figure out the complex developments in their journey. The whodunnit factor made this story more fun to read as I was trying to figure out the mysterious circumstances affecting them.
After all the revelations, confessions and promises are made, one more jaw dropping bombshell is followed by the most swoonworthy scenes!
My only issue with this story was that there were elements of the story that felt rushed.
4.5 stars!
