Heart of Siren by D.N. Leo is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series that I have fallen in love with. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy, suspense and thrillers in their stories.

I finished this book in one day as I could not put it down. This story was quite intriguing and has me hankering to read the rest of the Merworld series. The storyline is solid and really engages the reader.
I absolutely adore Tadgh and Jo! Like the other LeBlancs, they are not only dynamic as a couple but also as individuals. I also love that DN Leo is not afraid to let women shine in their own right and they do in this book. Jo is as much a fierce warrior as her husband and she is also unabashedly all woman. The admiration and respect that Joe and Tadgh have for one another and their relationship is inspiring. The world under the waters is a little different than we typically think and that makes for the type of engaging story that we expect from DN Leo. She makes this world feel so real that you can visualize it just as it is written in the book. The characters are memorable and engaging to the point that you become invested in what happens next. On to Dream of Siren Merworld Book 2

This book encompasses all a person looking for a good escape in reading wants. It’s fast paced, well written, a real page turner and has characters that you soon look at as your friends. It’s thus a joy to read and as the action heats up the pages just fly by faster and faster because you are riveted to the story and don’t want to stop.
DN Leo has a hit on her hands with this story and
the next two books promise to be page turners as well as the reader is so totally immersed in the book it feels like it’s real! Of course humans don’t possess the kind of powers our hero’s possess but it’s fun to imagine what it would be like to have such powers! Life would indeed get much more interesting immediately!
I recommend this book to all who enjoy well written fantasy that will keep you on the edge of your seat as it plays out. You will have a hard time putting it down because the story is so engaging you just have to keep reading it!
Pick up this book today and see if you don’t agree that it’s a story you want to see through to the end.

This was a great book did not think I would like it but I thought it was great characters and great story would read this authors works again
This was a great way to start a series. The story line was great. The character work was terrific. The book had a smooth flow to it. This was the first book by this author that I’ve read, but it won’t be the last.

There was no real life for Jo on Earth.
A return trip from the multiverse to retrieve a talisman might be a trap with multiple costs, rather than the saving grace for a friend, as she had hoped
Will an attempted act of kindness cost her much that she holds most dear?
Intense and ongoing drama, action, and desires.

Love this multi-universe tale under the sea. An engaging story with likable characters. Highly recommend.
A mission to save a friend turns into a fight to get home. While on a mission to save Lorcan, Jo and Tadgh end up getting involved in a civil war in Nepolymbus. But events aren’t what they seem. The message they received from Ciaran was a fake and they were deliberately drawn to Nepolymbus. Someone wants a war with Eudaiz or to take it over. Now they don’t know who they can trust and it is worse when they get separated. Each has someone to help them but their helpers trustworthy? Everyone in this environment seems to have an agenda.
Our heroine’s perfect life is disrupted when she is thrust into the center of a paranormal power struggle. Guess she is going to have to make a stand.
This is book one of the series. Somehow I managed to read these out of order and still enjoyed the heck out of them. Now it makes more sense and is even more enjoyable read in order.
This is a complex story with fantasy elements, romance, action and intrigue all rolled into one. It is part of the multiverse setting. The story is well written and easy to read with an action filled plot with lots of intrigue and tough choices, making the book hard to put down as you always want to know what is coming next. Combine that with an interesting cast of paranormal characters and you have a great story that is fun and engaging. Well worth the read (even when read out of order).
Highly recommended.

This is an intriguing read that has me hooked! I adore the other stories from the multiverse and am now loving this first book in the new trilogy! Well written with non stop action this romantic fantasy is full of supernatural mystery and intrigue, suspense and twists and turns and some great well developed characters including Jo and Tadgh from previous books! I cannot wait to read what happens next!
Finding the amulet connected to her sister’s death triggers a series of events for Jo and her husband Tadgh she did not really expect. Submerged in Nepolymbus to verify the validity of the item as per Ciaran’s request, the couple from Eudaiz find themselves in the midst of a civil war with very unclear loyalties and objectives. Only luck can help them survive the machinations and live to tell the tale.
The opening book of a new series has everything a good scifi/fantasy book has to offer – intricate plot, spellbinding storytelling, breathtaking world building, strong and complex, developed characters, engaging dialogues, sudden twists, and a promise to give more. This book offered plenty of emotions, suspense, and adventure, though it is a huge advantage to have already read previous books from the multiverse to understand all the connections and details of the world, it’s technology, and social system; otherwise some info might be lost. The cliffhanger at the end is a promise to keep reading, that there are more obstacles for Jo and Tadgh to overcome, that the fight is not yet over, but if ultimately the HEA shall come, it would be well deserved and satisfying. Epic, even. I am looking forward to the next book.
This is the first book in a new series set in an underwater world in the multiverse. The characters, which we’ve met before in other multiverse stories, now get their own story. As is expected, the characters are well developed and relatable, The world building is excellent and adds more dimension to the multiverse setting. This is a great romantic fantasy book and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Merworld is a romantic fantasy series of the Multiverse collection. This is a non-stop action, supernatural mystery and under water adventure. Jo and her husban will keep you on high alert with everything they go through. The love and romance they share with the action is something you want to keep reading and not stop. I can not wait to read the next book.

This story seems to have a rather stilted style. Be prepared, the story jumps about from subplot to subplot. Also, it seems like it ends in the middle of the plot with significant cliffhangers.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. This is my honest review.
Heart of Siren is Book 1 in the Merworld: Fae, Mermaid and Witches series by D.N. Leo. This is a new series set in the Multiverse and is Jo and Tadgh’s story. The building of this underwater world is excellent. Our characters (especially Jo and Tadgh) are well developed and likeable. The writing is so vivid that you feel like you are there experiencing everything with Jo and Tadgh. This is an action packed, fast paced thrill ride of an adventure that is suspenseful and romantic with plenty of twists, creatures, and magic. I am looking forward to Book 2 to see what D.N. Leo has in store for Jo and Tadgh. I highly recommend this story. Received a free copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Swimming Out of Their Depth
Never get tired reading about characters from the multiverse. Jo and Taghaare always favorites next to his brother Ciaran and his wife.
The Collector makes an appearance and she is possessive and evil as ever.
Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
My review of this book is without obligation to the author but do to the fact that I love mayhem of the multiverse.
D.N. Leo is an absolute favorite author of mine so I have a huge (mental) cheer when I found out that she’d come out with yet another tale (and series) set in her Multiverse. Heart of Siren (Merworld Book 1) is that tale and it’s star, Jo, is just perfect. See the publisher’s blurb for what this story is about and then trust me, it’s a wonderful and wonderfully fun story that’s perfectly told. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
I have been reading the different multiverse stories written by this author and have never been left unsatisfied. This book is no exception. A set of characters to love and hang out with, new perils and adventures. This is a compelling read right from the start that has me waiting impatiently for the next episode. Great book.

Josephine Cassidy (“Jo) had returned to Earth and was reading the words on her own tombstone, an easier explanation than telling people she had gone to the multiverse to live in Eudaiz! Then she moved over to her sister’s tombstone. Using her “superpower” of silver blood eudqi, which allowed her to liquefy anything she touched to whatever degree she desired, she created a pond where the tomb and soil had been. She pushed her hands through the water and mud until she found what she was looking for — a tri-colored interlocking stone talisman possibly known as the Key of Pisces that she had hidden there which could save Lorcan. Hearing a chuckle behind her, she turned and saw a man in an odd military uniform holding a rifle trained on her. She turned off her superpower and charged at him, kicking the rifle away and landing several hard kicks on his body. He feel to the ground and she held him there with the pointy heel of her shoe while she questioned him.
Distracted, Jo felt the man kick her, knocking her down and grabbing his rifle to aim at her. Her power would heal almost any injury – but not death. But before he could fire, she heard her husband Tadgh’s voice as he threatened to break the man’s neck. In the erupting fight, he did just that, then scolded Jo for going off on her own. When Orla had told her Lorcan’s last thought as he collapsed was of the talisman and after Jo left, she had felt as if she were being controlled to tell Jo that. Ciaran, the king of Eudaiz, figured someone or something was playing with crossworld technology which controls the robotic part of Lorcan. They were all being manipulated. As mercenaries ran toward them to attack, Ciaran opened a gateway in the sea for them to go talk to the Nepolymbian authority in the submarine dimension to verify the Key of Pisces. Tadgh could not use his ability to dematerialize in water, so he was not happy about this!
This was an action-packed, exciting story that, like everything else that comes from this author, never slows down! Lured into an underwater world, Jo and Tadgh find themselves in the middle of a civil war. Trying to figure out who can be trusted or not while the action races ahead can be dizzying! The new underwater dimension adds a whole new twist and some difficulties to the adventure. But with Jo and Tadgh fighting side by side, their enemies will find it difficult to achieve their evil purposes. Grab your copy and wade in – the water’s warm!
